I need an older version of Adobe Reader to install into a old laptop that has no internet connection. I saw something similar on other threads but for the current version instead, but because the laptop is so old the current version won't run on it.
Can you give me a link to download 8.2 instead?

Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

Downloaded older version and newer version of what. Any attempts to downgrade iOS are not allowed. Also, using iTunes with the latest iOS and iTunes requires the latest version.
I suggest that you remove and reinstall iTunes using this support document. You need to follow the steps exactly or you will just create more problems, which I think you already have. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923

To roll back to iTunes 10.7 first download a copy of the installer from here, uninstall iTunes and suppporting software, i.e. Apple Application Support & Apple Mobile Device Support. Reboot. Restore the pre-upgrade version of your library database as per the diagram below, then install iTunes 10.7.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to scan the media folder and catch up with any changes made since the backup file was created.

You can't download them; you can only sync previously downloaded copies from your iTunes library.

It was not clear on the ni.com, so I hope I can ask this here:
I have an expired SSP (03/21/2014 expiration date) for LabView Full version. May I download older version (like LabView 2012) of Labview and activate it with the given serial number (I will need to reinstall PC, and I do not have CD disk anymore)? I see this product under "My Products" site, but when I click on "download old version", I do not see LabView as downloadable content (only some modules, like softmotion, etc..).
Do I have the right to download old LabView, which I have paid for, and if so, how?

you can use all LAbVIEW version you have paid for. So download any older version and use it…
Googling for "labview 2012 downlad" results in good links to an official NI download website!
When you're unsure about any licensing details you can always call your local NI sales department.

Starting when iOS 7 was released, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)

You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.

I inherited this app and signing the third party jars is how it was setup, I was wondering the same thing too, why was it necessary to sign the third party jars?
The applet runs in either JRE 1.6.0_13 or JRE 1.6.0_27 depending on the other Java apps the user uses. JRE 1.6.0_13 does not have the mixed code security (so it is like is disable), but JRE 1.6.0_27 does have the mixed code security and the applet will not launch with mixed code security enable, so we have to disable it. With all the hacking going on in the last two years, is important to improve security; so this is a must.

Office 2011 is the current boxed version for the Mac. The two versions are Home and Business. The difference (besides price) is that the Business version includes Outlook. Both contain Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Actually, the Home version also has Outlook hidden on the disk. If you decided later you want to use Outlook, you can call Microsoft for an unlock code to install it from the Home version disk. The unlock cost is essentially the difference between the Home and Business versions.
You mentioned Office 2013, but that's the current Windows version. MS hasn't really stated one way or another if there will be a feature comparable boxed Mac version. If there is, it looks like we won't see it until sometime in 2014. To get the current functionality of Office 2013 in a Mac product, you'd have to purchase the subscription based Office 365.
It does depend on your needs. Often, Office must be used for true compatibility with people you work, or collaborate with. It also has many features the free alternatives don't offer, and can't import or replicate. Otherwise, as Gary noted, Open Office is a good free choice.
