Downloading photoes  to ipad

How to download photoes from camers to ipad

There are two ways to do this. One is to get the camera connection accessory and connect your iPad directly to it using this accessory. Your camera need to support this feature for order to use this, other wies it won't work. Second way is to connect iPad and your camera to iTunes on a PC or Mac. From there just drag and drop photos to your iPad. If you need ferder instruction, please let me know.

You can't via Safari, but you should be able to if you use, for example, the 'official' Facebook app.

There are a number of facebook apps that you can use e.g. the 'official' facebook app : http://itunes.apple.com/in/app/facebook/id284882215?mt=8 (it's optimised for the iPhone but you can upload photos via it), and Friendly For Facebook : http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/friendly-for-facebook/id400169658?mt=8

  • Download photo from ipad to ipad????

I want to download photo's from one ipad to ipad??????

If you are not using Photo Stream .....
You can use a third party app like PhotoSync to transfer photos from one iDevice to another one or you can email the photos - if there aren't a whole lot of them.
You can also import them onto your computer and then add them to your iTunes library and sync them to the other iPad.

  • Download photos to ipad

I'm having trouble downloading photos from my PC to my ipad using itunes.
At the top of the screen I do not see a "photos" tab to click on to start the process.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Melvillehondaman-
Run iTunes with your iPad connected to the computer.  Select the iPad on the left side under DEVICES.  Then click on Photos on the right side at the top of the window.  There is a box to check to Sync Photos from, and a place to specify where they are located.
When this is set up, your photos should sync with the iPad.

  • I have an iPad 2 and would like to know how to download photos on iPad to an external memory card for printing purposes

I have an iPad 2 and have quite a lot of photos stored on the device. I would like to be able to download them onto an SD Card or a memory stick which would then allow me to go to a print shop and print out some hard copy prints of the photos I require.
I have seen some devices on the interent such as an iPad comera connector but this just seem to allow photos to be uploaded from a camera or an SD card to the iPad and not the reverse which I am trying to do.
I realise I can print them myself via AirPrint, but I would like more professional copies for a photo album I am compiling.
I am sure this should be quite a simple exercise but would like some advice on how to do this from the community.
    Hoping you can help.
    Regards

open app and sign in or open settings and sign in.   only works between apple devises with ios 5 or newer or the latest version of snow leopard.  advantages over skype is much more reliable.

  • Downloading Photos From IPad To Mac

My son-in-law downloaded a bunch of pictures of my granddaughters from his Mac to my Ipad. Now that I am home I want to put them on my Mac. I have not yet synced my Ipad with my computer as I got it when I was visiting my daughter and this will be the first time I connect it to my home computer. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Are they on the ipad in an album called Saved Photos? If so, you can use iphoto to import them as from a camera.
If he sync'ed them from his itunes/iPhoto, they will be erased as soon as you sync photos with a different computer.
There is a way to retain them with 3rd party photo apps, by performing a slight change to the photo and then saving the edited photo. Most apps save edited photos to the Saved Photos album. The change can be minute and un-noticable. Then you can import them with iphoto.
Or he can email them to you.

  • Is it possible to download photos from ipad to external hard drive?

I am wondering if it would be possible to use ipad with retina to get photos from camera to an external hard drive?  We are hoping to do this for holiday snaps over an extended period without having to take a laptop with us.

I've never tried myself, but you can look at these options
There are some wireless external hard drives that can be used with the iPad.
The Kingston Wi-Drive, which costs $50 for the 16 Gigabyte, and then $30 more for every 16 gigs more. It works by you turning it on and then accessing the files on it from an app that you download on your iDevice. You can access music, movies, and other stuff. No connections or anything, it works like a WiFi connection, you connect to it from the setting on the iPad under wireless networks.
Then there is the Seagate GoFlex, which some would recommend over the Wi-Drive. But this one costs $199 and had 500 Gigabytes of storage. It works the sameway as the Kingston: no wires, runs over its wireless connection. You can actually fit up to 300 HD movies on it.
    Another option:
Expand your iPad's storage capacity with HyperDrive

my photos appear as ithumb files not as microsoft pictures? is this right?

Not sure what you mean by 'microsoft pictures'. If you are copying photos that you've taken with the iPad (which should be in jpeg format) to your computer, then you can use the windows camera wizard to copy them to a PC (there is more info on this page) - is that what you are doing ?

  • Trying to download photos to iPad. Force quits.

I have the Sony a550 dslr camera and the iPad connection kit. When I plug in the camera and select the Picts to download, then press download it just quits and goes back to main screen. Is there a spftware patch? Anyone else with this problem and workaround?

  • Downloading photos to iPad library from gmail

I am using iPad 2nd gen. I am using the Gmail app for my email. I want to copy photos from emails received on Gmail to my photo library. How do I do that? When I click and hold on a picture I get a 'Copy' option. But there doesn't seem to be any way to 'Save' or 'Share' pictures.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
    No data will be lost.
