Downloading photos from Verizon Cloud

Is there a way to download photos all at once from Verizon Cloud? I have about 1400 photos I'd like to download to my computer (just upgraded my phone so I want to save them somewhere), and I can only see how to download them one by one. The solution in the FAQ (hold and click and it will let you pick multiple photos) doesn't work.

It is my understanding that you can successfully sync a handset with Verizon Cloud and regain photos stored in the cloud on your handset.  I will also add this comment - Verizon Cloud is a very new product and many useful features of its predecessor program, Backup Assistant Plus, have been removed in the current version of Verizon Cloud.  This is a huge disappointment to me, as I found out the hard way that all of my backed up photos(hundreds of them) must now be downloaded individually to my PC instead of via the method used in Backup Assistant Plus(a zip file of all photos could be created and downloaded in one file to my system).  I am waiting for a bit to see if Verizon won't reenable this functionality in Verizon Cloud so that I do not have to cancel my backup service with them as it is essentially useless the way it now stands.  Yes, it does afford a very limited backup but, to get photos back out of the cloud onto another device(short of syncing with the handset), involves an incredibly labor intensive process that would take me most of a few days to complete.  I will hope that someone in a position of authority at Verizon Cloud, involved in its product development, will oneday read these messages and make the product all that it can be.  Good luck to you!

  • How do I download photos from the cloud to an Iphone 5c

My wife's iphone 5 got destroyed and she got a replacement iphone 5c, and none of her photos are there, how do I go about trying to download them from the cloud.  These photos were only taken on her phone, and her itunes is on a PC not a Mac.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"The cloud" just means "her account on a server somewhere." Since you're asking how to get her photos out of the cloud, the next question is, which cloud storage service was she backing up her photos to? Apple iCloud? Google Photos? Dropbox? Flickr?
Once you know which service she was using, all that should be needed is to log into that account on her new phone. For iCloud, she would log in from the Settings app and then turn on the Photos switch; for non-Apple cloud photo backup she probably needs to download that service's app like the Google app or the Dropbox app. Once she is logged in to the service she was using, her photos should be accessible and downloadable.

That's fine. With cloud services, the server is the central location and the device doesn't matter; any compatible device (Mac, PC, phone, tablet etc.) can upload or download files with the cloud server.

  • How to download photos from Lightroom cloud to desktop

Hi - I see there is already a thread with this same subject, but the context is very different.  In the other thread the poster asked about recovering photos due to a lost device.  I didn't want to hijack that thread, so here goes...
I am trying out the LR Mobile feature in LR 5.7.  I have a few Collections synced so I can see them on my iDevices, and via the lightroom.adobe.com site.  Sometimes when I'm at a different computer in another location, I'd like to be able to download a photo from lightroom.adobe.com to that computer so I can share it locally in that environment.  This doesn't seem to be possible now.  Am I missing something?  or maybe this will be considered for a future enhancement?
    Thanks in advance!

OK, then get Lightroom installed on your computer, log in to LrMobile, and the photos should appear in LR. From there, make a backup copy of them.
When you get a replacement device and sign into LrMobile, the photos may automatically download onto it. I say "may" because I only have one iOS device and am not sure. But if I am wrong about that, in any case you would be able to sync them from the copies on your computer.

  • Download all photos at once from Verizon Cloud?

The verizon cloud app was able to upload all my photos in one shot from my iPhone 4s and not I am trying to download them all from verizon cloud to my iPhone 5s but can't seem to figure out how to download more than one photo at a time. I click edit and select a photo, but as soon as I select more than one the download button is unclickable. I have searched posts and it seems to be a common issue, but I haven't seen a solution. Seem to me that if the app can upload everything at once it should be able to download everything at once. I find the app to be a total failure if this is really the case.

        Hi seannydeez,
I am sorry you're having issues with not being able to select more than one pic at a time. I would suggest using ICloud as opposed Verizon Cloud for the download http://tiny.cc/g8sp8w. I apologize but I am not sure of a 3rd party app that can do everything at once.

  • Help needed for photos deleted from Verizon Cloud

After selecting muliple photos in Verizon Cloud, they were inadvertently deleted rather than downloaded to my PC.  These photos had been deleted from my phone after backed up to Verizon Cloud.  The Trash Can in my Verizon Could has contacts and music deleted over the past year, but not these recently deleted photos.  Can these photos deleted from my Verizon Cloud be restored to / undeleted from my Verizon Cloud?

Follow up on this post.  If you want the capability to restore items deleted from your Verizon Cloud storage, use the website: https://cloud.verizonwireless.com
Unless the iPhone app and Windows 8 app that access your Verizon Cloud storage directly and delete things directly from the cloud, the website has a trash can feature.  This feature gives you a second chance to decide if you want to restore an item you deleted or permanently delete it from your cloud storage -- similar to restoring deleted files or emptying your recycle bin on your PC.  In other words:
Verizon Cloud website Trash Can = PC Recycle Bin
Once something is deleted using the apps or from the website trash can, you can assume it is gone.

How to download pics from Verizon cell phone to ipad2?

Is it an iPhone ? If it is and you don't want to go via your computer and iTunes, then the camera connection kit can connect the iPhone to the iPad and can copy photos to the iPad. Also there are photo transfer apps such as Simple Transfer which can copy photos between iOS devices via your wifi network.
If it's not an iPhone then you probably need to go via your computer and sync them via iTunes, or if there aren't that many photos and your phone supports it you can email them to yourself

  • Download photos from iphone

Preface: Probably a dumb question; but there is so much information available and I always start here. This is my most successful resouce.
Question: How do I download photos from my iphone to my Mac? I do not want to put them in the cloud and have them on all my devices. In fact I want to save them on the mac and then delete from my phone. I know it should be simple and fear I'm overcomplicating it.
    Is this do-able?

    Hi
    "Is this do-able?"
    Absolutely.
Connect the iPhone to your Mac with the provided cable. Launch iPhoto. The rest should be obvious?

When there are photos/videos in the Camera Roll, the iPhone is also detected as a digital camera when connected.

  • Download photos from old phone, but can't see the screen

Download photos from a LG Spectrum 2 that quit working, my contacts came over from whenever the last backup was, there were some of them missing as well.  I can't see the screen on Spectrum 2, but the power button light is illuminated if plugged into a charger.  My Spectrum 2 has an internal SD card, so not just as easy as obtaining from the SD card.

        prweaver2,
I am sorry for the issues you are having. Without having access to the on screen prompts of the phone the media can not be transferred unless it was previously backed up somewhere such as the VZW Cloud or another 3rd party storage. If you would like you can try to gain access to the media by plugging the device into a computer and transfer the media however this many not be possible as you must enable USB Mass Storage on the device. Check out the steps here... http://vz.to/1Bfnlig
