Downloading photoshop CS5 to second computer.

I just got my second computer, and I want to get my photshop CS5 onto it. I can only find CS6 for download on the genreal website, and in the my orders section, I see my CS5 and the serial number, but there is no way to download it! Help please.

Please follow the instructions below to download Photoshop CS5 :
1. Navigate to Photoshop CS6 downloads page : http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop
2. Sign in with your Adobe ID.
3. Copy and paste the following links on the address bar one at a time and hit enter :
Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended English Windows
http://trials2.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/PHSP/12/win32/Photoshop_12_LS1.7z
http://trials2.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/PHSP/12/win32/Photoshop_12_LS1.exe
4. Save the files.
5. run the .exe file.

    You can install PS on two computers.  I don't know about the Mac OS to know it CS5 is compatible, but if it is, you should be able to just install it as you did on your first computer.

    It's not possible. Serial numbers are platform specific. Even if you install the CS5 trail version, it won't activate with your PC serial. Your only option is to upgrade to Creative Cloud.

    Pgrossy since you posted in the Creative Cloud Download & Install forum does this mean that you are trying to install Photoshop Lightroom as part of a Creative Cloud Membership?  If so then please see Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html for information on how to install the Adobe Creative applications included with your membership.

    Terminate the process in task manager or turn off Minibridge in the PS prefs and restart your system.

    I am looking to purchase and download photoshop cs5 education version direct from adobe australia. However i would like to know if once i have downloaded whether i am able to install it on both my computers imac and macbook pro? Or am i limited to the activation code only working once?

    THis is a User to User forum. For direct answers from Adobe, call Adobe Customer service.
    However, the US EULA allows for 2 installs of the software. I do not know if the Australian EULA is differnt.

    Which operating system does your new computer run?
    Do you still have your serial number?  You'll need it to re-activate Photoshop.

    I bought the disk version for £400+ but it's for Mac, I no longer have Mac and therefore want to install it on my PC. What I thought would be a simple download is turning into a nightmare. I cannot even find just a trial version. I don't want to download CS6, because I don't have the money to waste to purchase the whole set again.     Right, here is the problem - installation media is corrupted and I need to re-install Photoshop CS5 on my Mac.
    I have the valid serial number (as registered) but cannot find out where I can download Photoshop CS5 (unless I hit the torrent sites! - which I don't want to do).  Where do I go to download the CS5 software legitmately?

    Tessa, if you orignially got CS5 from the Adobe online store, you can log on again, and the link will be there in your Orders page.  I don't know how it works if you started with the DVD, but John sounds like he has sorted you out.
    Just checked, and that's a handy page John.  It is now bookmarked on my system, and I'll wager by most other people who view this thread.
    I'll add a me-too for backing up.  I lost a raid0 array a month or so ago, and it had hundreds of hours of video editing on it.  (time invested - not edited video)  I had a nearly up to date copy on another drive, but I also run Shadow Protect which can be set to record changes to the backed up drives every 15 minutes as a background process.  You can also make a virtual copy of your boot drive, and a bood CD that will have you up and running five minutes after a complete boot drive failure.  One of the best $100 I ever spent.  You don't even know it is there until you need it.
