Downloading Premier Elements 11 from Amazon

I bought Photoshop and Premier Elements 11 from Amazon.com and had little trouble installing Photoshop. However after several attempts to install Premier Elements 11 I am at a dead end.
Just as it is about to finish installing I get one of two messages, either
EXECUTION OF COMMAND ' C:\USERS\PUBLIC\DOCUMENTS\AMAZON GAMES & SOFTWARE\PREMIERELEMENTS11.afp.' failed (error 2:the system cannot find the file specified)
Or
C:\Program files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11. The installation cannot continue. Log on as as administrator or contact your system administrator
I've tried clearing all previous files and crap left over from previous attempts, using a different browser and shutting off my protection. Nothing.
HELP ME before I throw this bloody laptop through the window!!!!

Please try the below general troubleshooting steps :

> Disable all Non-Microsoft Startup Services. (Ref : http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/disable-startup-items-servic es-windows.html )
> Disable all the Antivirus softwares like CA, Norton,Mc Afee etc. temporarily from the computer.
Reboot and Install and check.

Since you're a new Mac user, you've probably used Safari for the download. First check in the Downloads folder which should be in your Dock. And/or, open Preferences in Safari (Cmd - ,) and in "General" see what "Save downloaded files to:" says.

I downloaded some videos to Premier Elements 13 from an external hard drive but now the external hard drive is damaged. While setting up my new MAC the external hard drive was dropped and I have been told by an outside source they could not retrieve the files. It had 4 years of photos and videos on it. I remembered that I had downloaded some of the videos from the external hard drive (before it was broke) to Adobe Organizer 13 when I installed the Adobe 13 on my MACOS X 10.9.5. Any input is greatly appreciated!! I am sick over losing the videos and had a little hope on Adobe Organizer until I was unable to open them. I am thinking it is due to my external hard drive not being plugged in. I thought when I transferred from the external hard drive to Adobe 13 that it would be there without the external hard drive needing to be attached but maybe I did something wrong.

It had 4 years of photos and videos on it.
To what did your camera record those photos and videos - camera's internal memory, inserted memory card, other?
Any remote chance that the latter may still exist for you to use to download the camera files to your new external hard drive?

Downloaded Premier Elements 30 minutes ago. It will not open and install on my windows 7 machine. Please advise!!!!!!!

Very disturbing download process. First click to downlload Photoshop Elements trial was blocked because there was malware attached. This happened twice.
Second attend to download PS elements worked. But the file would never open and install.
Then tried to download Premier Elements Trial. No malware, but file would not open and install.
Adobe is better than this. What is going on?????

I uploaded the upgrade to Photoshop Elements 12 today. I got a "dispatching error" for Photoshop Elements, but was able to download Premier elements! I did not order Premier Elements, so I'm confused (unless this was a package that I did not know about)

do you have a white box inside the outer box and containing the disc sleeve/disc? In my case, it was on the white box. For Photoshop elements it is all numeric and starts with 1057.

Can't download premier elements 11

when I try to download premier elements 11, I get a file trial3.adobe.com and its all garbage. I also got a jojobo company program to do the downloading. I tried to get around it but it stays there. If adobe is using some other company's software to do its downloading. It should tell people. i look upon this company as trying to get my personal information. How do I get around this nonsense. It's very difficult to find a way of downloading a program that I payed for.
