Downloading previous purchased again

Hi,
Just downloaded some purchased tv show on to my pc and I accidently deleted the folder.
Now i'm trying to download it again it will not let me.  ( same PC)
1. I went to itune store "purchased" it shows the "Downloaded buttton" but i can't click on it to download .
2. I went  to the library TV Shows and try to click on the "cloud button" and would not allow me to click on it either to download.

Go into iTunes, locate the shows there, and delete them from within iTunes. Then you should be able to download the shows again.
Regards.

    Hi Bander Bunny!
I have a couple of articles that should be able to help you troubleshoot this issue a little further. You may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes first. This has to be done in a specific manner, and this article can help you do that:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1923
Another option is that you may want to try syncing your iPod nano manually. Here's is an article that pertains to manually managing the content of your iPod nano:
Managing content manually on iPhone, iPad, and iPod
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1535
It's also possible that this issue resides with your iPod nano. Here is a website that will help you troubleshoot the iPod nano:

  • Connected to iTunes store, but can't download previously purchased items?

When I set up a new computer last week, the Home Sharing process left a lot of holes in the iTunes library on my new computer.  I went to the iTunes Store to download previous purchases in an effort to to fill some of the gaps.  Initially, I was successful -- though the iTunes store would only download a couple of hundred files at a time.  However, I can  no longer make the "download previous purchases" function work, even though I still have around 350 files that it recognizes as available for download.  When I click the "download all" option and enter my password, I consistently get a message like, "This item is currently unavailable.  Try again later."  This has been going on for more than a week.  What can I do to make this work?
As a separate matter, iTunes only seems to recognize about 1100 of my previous purchases, though the real number is probably closer to 3500-4000.  That is not critical, since I had MP3 backups for almost all of my ITunes purchases on an external hard drive.  However, the process of reconstructing my library probably would have been easier if I could have restored more directly from iTunes.  If anyone has encountered this kind of problem and figured out how to solve it, I'd be interested in case I ever have to go through the process again.

I had an issues similar to this with purchased music not all that long ago, and rebooting (I think) is what got it working for me again.
See if this helps - sign out, restart, sign in again and try again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try again.
I would suggest rebooting the router - unplug it for about 30 seconds, and you can try that - but I'm not sure if that will help. It won't hurt anyway.

If you didn't make a back-up of your music/movie purchases to restore from (as you are advised to do) then I'm sorry to say that the policy on lost purchases is that you have to pay to download them again:
"Products may only be downloaded once; after being downloaded, they cannot be replaced if lost for any reason. Once a Product is purchased or rented (as applicable) and you receive the Product, it is your responsibility not to lose, destroy, or damage the Product, and Apple shall be without liability to you in the event of any loss, destruction, or damage" iTunes Store: Purchased content can be downloaded only once If you have an iPod that still has any of your purchases on it you'll find details in this article on how to transfer them to the computer: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer Purchased applications can be downloaded over again, see this article for details: How to redownload purchased applications from the App Store Failing this, you could try contacting iTunes Store Customer Service and you might be able to persuade them to sanction a second free download. There have been occasional reports in the iTunes forum of this happening, however just be aware that they are not under any obligation to do so. • Download previous purchase

I am looking at iTunes Store now. Song I bought yesterday on another Mac says "Purchased" where it used to say "$1.29". Which is correct. So how do I get this song on to this Mac? Does not show up in "Purchased" tab. Do I need to be on the same network as my other Mac? How do I download the song again without paying?

  • I changed my iTunes password and now I can't download previous purchases

I changed my iTunes password (but kept the same username), and now I can't re-download any songs that I purchased BEFORE changing the password.
When I follow the steps in the Apple support pages on how to re-download previously purchased songs, I am taken to my "Purchased" page in the iTunes store, but the songs I purchased before the password change don't show at all.  Only the songs that I purchased after changing the password appear.
When I search for one of the older songs in the iTunes store, the menu bar to the right of the song says "purchased," confirming that I did indeed purchase the item.  But again, I can't download it.
Again, I did not change my AppleID, only my password.
Does anyone know a fix for this?  Thanks.

    Hi hyperslam,
Are you certain that you are looking at "Purchased" here:
    And not here:
You want to look for your Purchased items under QUICK LINKS not under the "Store" heading in the sidebar!

  • Does it cost to download previously purchased songs/vides from I Phone onto I Pad 3

does it cost to download previously purchased songs/vides from I Phone onto I Pad 3?

It depends on where you live. You should be able to download virtually everything again for free if you live in the U.S except for some movies, audiobooks and extra iTunes content with movies.
This explains how you can download again for free. You must be using the same Apple ID that you bought the content with as well.

  • HT201272 Error in connection when downloading previously purchased music. Help please!

I'm trying to download previously purchased music onto a new authorized computer, but for a number of songs (1 in 10 approximately), I continually get the message that the connection cannot be established.
In my Library, these songs cannot be played.
However, when I go back under Itunes Store > Purchased - beside every song (regardless of whether it was successfully downloaded or not), it says Downloaded. So I can't download them again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Ability to redownload varies from country to country, the US having most options currently:

If you think you should have more optons check your country is correctly set in iTunes.

  • I can't download previously purchased items from itunes to my ipad

I just got a new ipad, and followed the directions to download previously purchased music and video to the ipad. I go into Itunes, select purchased, choose what I want. The ipad then tells me that it is downloading, but once it finishes, the music and video do not appear in the music/video section of the device. The 'usage' also tells me that I don't have any music or video.
Has this happened to anyone else?

  • HT201272 To download previous purchased ringtones

How do you download previous purchased ringtones

Reply from iTunes Store Customer Support
    Leslie here again.
There is no where for you to download them again for free- ringtones are not included in the iCloud feature. Applications can be redownloaded from the store at no additional cost- songs and movies can be redownloaded through iCloud (if they are available) but ringtones do not have that option. As I said, we can try to repost them for you but do not repurchase them unless you want to pay for them a second time. I encourage you to back up your purchases so you have the ability to restore them yourself if something happens to them.
If you want to know more about redownloading applications and other purchases let me know, and I'll be happy to provide you the redownload apps information and the iCloud information but this doesn't help you with ringtones.
I hope that this is helpful in resolving this matter.
    Thank you for choosing i

  • Download previous purchases from itunes to new computer

how do i download previously purchased audiobooks from itunes to a new apple computer

If you don't have a backup, it's probably cheaper to buy them again. Recovering data from a failed drive may cost hundreds or thousands of dollars.
Alternatively, the iTunes Store staff may allow you a free redownload if asked, but will only do this once per person.

  • HT1918 i changed my credit card on my apple id and now i cannot download previous purchases?

i changed my credit card on my apple id and now i cannot download previous purchases?
the songs appear on lightgray color on my itunes but i cannot play or download them again.

    - Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
    - To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
If you can't log into Settings>iTunes and App stores with your new ID them mean there is a problem. Try restting the password and try to sign in again.

    Authorization and Deauthorization
Macs:  iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.
Windows: How to Authorize or Deauthorize iTunes | PCWorld.
In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.
More On De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
      1. Open iTunes on a computer
      2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
      3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
      4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
      5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.
