Downloading/printing missed calls (Centro)?

Does anyone know of a way on a palm Centro (Sprint) that I can download and print out my missed call history, or just the entire call history? I need to take this info to court to show how someone has been calling my phone non-stop, but since I don't answer the calls, they don't show up on my phone bill and the only place they seem to be stored is in my call log history, but I can't figure out how to get that into a form that I can then print out a list. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are considering downloading print drivers for your L7590 series, be forewarned:
This is my experience. After experiencing fax problems (the fax would feed all the pages, but cancel itself after attempting to send page 1. I finally thought it might be a missing print driver and went to the HP site to download any possible updates.
The download actually wiped out my existing files or more accurately, hid them somewhere deep in registry files.
Had massive problems, because now my printer is completely non-functional except for the copy function.
I endured a horrible, strong-accent, broken English-speaking tech in probably an India Call Center. He was insistent on helping me but it took 4 attempts to even get his name spelled!
Long & Short - had to pay $24.99 (even tho the site said it was $20; a whole other issue on this) and finally got connected to a Southern US Call Center. This tech was nice, but had to escalate my issue to her supervisor. It took 3 days to get the problem resolved [my printer works better than before, so it was great overall], so I am now awaiting a response from HP CEO Ray Lane. We'll see...

Quick access to missed calls in call log

I have a Palm Centro (Sprint). How can I set up quick access to the Missed Calls in the Call Log? On what many would consider a much inferior phone, my old Sanyo Katana, Missed Calls access could be set up as a quick link and available by the push of one button. On what many would consider a superior phone, the Palm Centro, it takes eight pushes to get to the Missed Call logs.
Can anyone help me get back that one-button-push functionality and set it up on my Centro? Quick access to the Missed Calls log is very important to me.

Unfortunately, there is no method to remap the missed call log to another button natively on the Centro.
There may be a 3rd party app. available that you can install that will accomplish what you are wanting to do.

Very Important Edge and Missed calls

Hello Apple forums so can you test this for me.
1.turn wifi off and connect via edge
2.go to youtube play a movie
3. why movie is playing phone your iphone.
does the video stop and you get a pop up to answer the call. now if the answer is no and it goes to voice mail but you do not leave a message and hang up do you get a missed call,
Same with safari. and mail
So we pay for the unlimited data plan but cannot use it otherwise we miss all our calls same thing happens with mail, so if you have your mail to check every 15mins you will not be able to get any calls for a quarter of the day.
other phones will stop the connection give you an option to answer the phone then resume your download safari/youtube/ mail.
please post your answers.

Everyone having this issue should call 1-800-MY iPhon. Ask to speak to Tier II support, the person you get may try to help, and may need to give you a case number. You'll probably have to wait a while on hold.
I just spent an hour on the phone with Tier I & II. The tier I guy started by saying that when you use EDGE it will always go to voicemail. I told him, I was on a user forum & some people said they don't have the issue. He then tested it on his phone & experienced the direct to v-mail issue. We talked about how this was a real problem & how both of our nokia phones didn't have this issue (he actually had the E-61 also). He gave me a case number & transferred my to tier II. The tier II guy told me that this was a software issue. That a pop-up needs to be designed into the software to allow the user the option to disconnect the data connection & accept the voice call, or not. I told him that I'd read on a user forum that some users get voice calls while using EDGE. He said that if they are using you tube the call will automatically interrupt & switch out of you tube. We then tested this on my iPhone & it worked (i.e. the call interupted you tube). He said the software currently decides to disconnect data or send calls to voice mail during EDGE transmissions based on what the user is doing. Phone calls take priority over you tube & widgets (stock & weather)but safari and e-mail take priority over phone calls. He said the thought was, it would be more annoying to users to be in the middle of sending an e-mail and having mail disconnected for a phone call, than having the call go to voicemail. The ideal solution is to have a choice (like other phones allow) but right now the iPhone software does not have a pop-up designed allowing the user to accept the call or keep the data connection. (He seemed to be familiar with this on other phones while being tethered to a macbook to use their data connections & getting voice calls during downloads).
He said he was submitting this to the engineering group & said the more people that call tier II about this & submit it as an issue via online feedback, the higher priority it will get to be addressed in the first software update. So if you want to see this fixed start calling and submitting the issue http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html in as much detail as possible (specifically say that other existing phones Nokia S60s etc. have this function).

Internet (EDGE) = Missed calls? Huge flaw

I know that was posted before, but I cannot find the thread. If I originate a voice call and I try to use the Internet over EDGE – no WAY, also if I am using the Internet/Mail and someone try to call me – missed call.
Does this issue is AT&T related or the iPhone issue?
I am happy with my phone, and I am sure that all the issues that are not hardware related will be solved at the software level, but does Apple not tested all this basic functionality before?
As a software developer for a big company, I would say that the test phase was hugely poor. I do not think that Apple was thinking to have 700K and counting tester to work for free, or worst pay U$ 500 or more to test for Apple. Free advertisement was OK, but free test, well ….

The iPhone User Guide specifically states that you do
not get any incoming calls while actively tranferring
data over EDGE on page 21.
So to say that Apple ignored this is just ignorance
itself.

Very quick question.... preview texts / missed call notifications

I've had my Z3C for over a month now. If I am totally honest.. I wish I had stuck to the iphone. But never mind, i am pleased i have given it a try.
Anyway... how do i turn on SMS previews? I've worked out how to get whatsapp message previews but I can't see sms previews.
Also, can i see that I have received a text or missed call while on the locked screen? When I receive a text or missed call while i've been away from my handset for a short time I sometimes don't realise unless i unlock the screen.
How do I change this? Thanks in advance

Making email/text/missed call symbols show when the iphone screen is asleep

Hi,
So I purchased my first ever iphone on the weekend - the new 3G S. All very exciting. One thing I haven't quite worked out is whether it is possible to have the phone show me that I have mail/text/missed calls when the screen is asleep. Is this possible?
With Nokias and Sony Ericsson's when the screen is asleep and blacked out, you can still see a pic of an envelope etc to let you know there is something waiting for you like a text. Is this possible with the iphone and if so how?
Alternatively if there is an app that will do this, could you let me know what that is called so I can download it please?

This is not possible with the current iPhone and version 3.0 software. There are no apps available either that will wake the iPhone up and activate the screen to provide you information. Hopefully this'll come in some furure software update.

1. Type "C:\Windows\inf" into the search box on the start menu.
2. Locate the INFCACHE.1 file and right-click it and select Properties.
3. On the INFCACHE.1 Properties window tab to the "Security" tab and click the "Edit" button to change permissions on this file.
4. On the Permissions for INFCACHE.1 window click the "Add" button.
5. On the Select Users or Groups window click the "Advanced" button.
6. A new Select Users or Groups window will open and then click the "Find Now" button.
7. The search results are sorted alphabetically; locate the username you logon to Windows with and then double-click.
8. Under the "Enter the objects names to select..." you should see something like this YOURCOMPUTERNAME\Yourusername
9. Now click the OK button.
10. You will now return to the Permissions for INFCACHE.1 window.
11. Under the Permissions for Yourusername you need to tick "Full Control" under the Allow column. Click the "Apply" button and then the "OK" button.
12. You will be prompted with a "Windows Security" window, just click the "Yes" button and continue.
13. Delete the INFCACHE.1 file.
14. Restart your computer.
15. Open Adobe Acrobat 8.1
16. Locate the Help menu item and click Repair Acrobat Installation
17. Restart if requested to do so.
This fix worked on Windows Vista Business Edition (32-Bit).

I have windows XP media center. I uninstalled Acrobat 8 to download Acr 9 pro extended. No adobe printer was installed .
Tried the steps given here by Steve Lionel. I was able to add the "Adobe PDF Converter" as printer. Although after the 7th step in Steve's fix, the wizard asked me to search for some files (from XP CDrom) which I was able to locate in the Windows folder-drivers folder and the system32-spool folder.
I went to acrobat,opened a pdf file and tried to print with this printer and saved it on the desktop. A file appears, but adobe cannot open it however it activates adobe illustrator and opens in that program.
Lots of time has gone. No solution yet.
Appreciate any suggestions.

I tried printing on this printer from a webpage and it converted the webpage like charm.
I am more than happy even if I get to use this printer to convert webpages to pdf as now I don't have to install those shady pdf converters and printer drivers.
This is good as the fix given here works even for XP.

7945 phone not displaying 'missed calls' notifications

Hello,
I have a user who is no longer getting the 'missed calls' notifications on her phone. This has previously worked but now isn't.
They have tried logging into another phone however the issue is still occurring for them suggesting it's an issue with their user profile rather than the phone.
Can anybody provide any assistance?

Cisco TAC has said it is directly related to an ITL file sych issue with the phone. The best way to fix it 100% of this time on any phone Is factory default reset. Never mind what firmware is on the phone as it is not common to one device or firmware load. Do this:
1 – unplug lan cables from back of phone
2- press and hold # key down and don’t let go
3- plug wires back in while still holding # key down
4- with # key still held in, wait for sequence of lights to blink next to line selection buttons. Should take maybe 1 min for this to happen
5- when lights blink in sequence, release # key
6- enter 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 * 0 #
7- wait a full 5 minutes or more for phone to fully download it’s software. It will say different things on the screen but eventually will fully load and reboot.

Have not had a Nokia for over 10 years and am beginning to remember why...
I have just bought an X3-02 and am missing so many text messages, not returning missed calls etc. How can I programme this *** phone so that the phone rings every x minutes when I receive a text or a missed call? I'm often in meetings at work and unless I have my phone under my nose I don't see/hear a missed message. I've tried to download "remind me" from the Ovi store, but of course it's not compatible with my phone. Please help, I'm going crazy trying to find a solution. This phone is going to finish at the bottom of a lake very soon if you can't help.

With the option "Light effects" turned on, when I receive an SMS message, but I miss it first time around, the keyboard light slowly turns on and off. So if I leave my phone on my desk at work, when I come back, the lighting effects allow me to see if a message is there. I guess this also works for missed calls, but I haven't had any missed calls yet !
Actually, I too was frustrated that there is no reminder option. But I find this method of reminding better. My phone doesn't beep now all the time I miss a message, which suits me better, as in the office I work in, that is annoying for everyone else.
The lighting effects work for me, and I'm happy with the X3.

6700 slide missed call & message alerts problem

If there is a missed call or message when the keypad is locked I dont see any lights blinking or D-Pad lights blinking. Is there a way that phone gives us a alert on missed call or messages as how it is in 6700 classic (D-Pad lights blinking untill we take a look at the alert)

I've finally got an ap called Miss Calls Reminder - this is for missed calls and texts. It is on the Ovi store. You have to ID your phone etc., then it asks you to send to phone. The problem is when you get a text with a link for the ap from Ovi and click on it it says it's not available for your model. Instead go the webpage which is mentioned Tektronic - you will see the ap, download it to your pc. It's not free - think it's around £4.00. Once you've downloaded to your pc, then plug your phone in - can't remember what I did next - something to do with Nokia Application Installer on Nokia PC Suite. Anyway you will see the logo - so transfer it from pc to phone. Then you will have option for a trial or buy. Took me three goes to buy it. When you have it on your phone under menu, applications you then enable it and change the settings. What a god send. I nearly missed a really important job 'cos I didn't here text coming in and didn't check phone and had 5 minutes to accept the job. So you can change the settings to get a visual reminder and an alert tone for calls and texts, or just texts. You you can set it to say 15mins and then set the warning tone as long as you want.

I am missing calls since the new update was laoded on my I5s

I downloaded the new update and now I miss most of my calls. I look down and there is a missed call but my phone never rings and yes teh ringer is on. It rings very rarely now. I have missed most of my calls overthe last few days since I put the upgrade on. Any advice?
