Downloading products to a second device

I have Adobe Premium Suite on my iMac but I want to also get it on my MacBook so I can edit while I travel. How can I do this?

install it on your macbook.
if you have a disc with the installation files and no disc-drive on your macbook you can copy the installation files to a usb stick or external harddrive and connect that to your macbook.
or, if you want to download the installation files onto your macbook, which version do you want?

  • Downloading Lightroom onto a second device

    I have lightroom downloaded on one computer already. I also have the serial number for that copy of lightroom. Now I am trying to download lightroom onto a second computer (my travel computer), which I understand I should be able to do. Please help me with this!

    I have logged into my Adobe ID account no problem and gotten to the My Products section of my account. I then go to Register New Products under the copy of Lightroom that I purchased and type in the serial number. But at this point it tells me "This serial number has already been registered". I don't know what I'm doing wrong exactly, but I am under the impression that I am legally allowed to register a second device on the same copy of Lightroom.
    I hope that adequately explains my problem.

  • Trying to activate 2nd licence on second device but i can't  see a download link anywhere on the 'My products and services' page of my account.

    I successfully installed and activated everything on my primary machine 2 days ago and now I'm trying to do the same on my second device but the steps that I followed (below) in the initial activation no longer work. There isn't an link to download the software onto the second device.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I am unable to download iTunes on my second Windows 8 computer (64 bit). I got it fine on my first one and have used it quite a bit. After downloading the program and installing it on the second computer, I keep getting this error message: "Apple Mobile Device Failed to Start." This happens when when my IPhone 5c is connected via Wi-Fi and I have clicked on "Trust This Computer." (I have tried to install several times-- It gets hung up when it reaches"Starting Services.")

    Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
    Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
    Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

    Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
    and paste into:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
    The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

  • Getting Creative Cloud on a second device.

    Hi,
    I purchased the Adobe creative cloud teacher and student edition in November last year to use on my laptop for University. I now have a desktop that I bought in September and I downloaded Creative Cloud and the programs that I needed.
    Earlier today though it asked me to start my trial.
    This confuses me because I purchased the pay monthly plan for a year and I shouldn't need to do a trial.
    How do I get the Creative Cloud I'm paying for on my new desktop? I am aware that your creative cloud can be installed on two different devices so I'd like to install it on the desktop as my second device.
    Any help would be appreciated as soon as possible as its decided to do this right in the middle of an important University project.

    This might can happen if you have re installed your products without deactivate the subscription previously. However in the error message you will get an option to sign out from all computer.
    You may click on the option and sign in back to activate your product.

    If you did all the process correct, and your plan is paid I only see one way to solve this issue.
    Follow this steps and for sure your problem will be solved.
    Windows
    Choose Start > Run, type %systemroot% \system32\drivers\etc, and then press Enter.
    Right-click the hosts file and select Open. Select Notepad for the application to open the hosts file.
    Back up the hosts file: Choose File > Save As, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.
    Search the hosts file for entries that reference activate.adobe.com (for example,127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) and delete these entries.
    Save and close the file.
    Mac OS
    Log in as an administrator to edit the hosts file in Mac OS.
    In a Finder window, choose Go > Go To Folder.
    Type /etc.
    Select the hosts file and open it.
    Back up the hosts file: Choose File > Save As, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.
    Search the hosts file for entries that reference activate.adobe.com (for example,127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) and delete these entries.
    Save and close the file.
    After editing this Hosts file, open Adobe creative cloud and log in once again. Is important that you start once again the session so Adobe creative cloud recognizes that Hosts file was edited.
    You can do this by clicking in:
    Preferences»Account»Log out of creative cloud.

    I took my computer back to MSFT to get rid of a virus and lost the Adobe program in the process. In the past the downloading was done from the list of products I have already bought. Today, there is no download button. How do I download products I already bought?

    We just got a new iPhone and macbook and my we cannot see our previously purchased items (music or iphone apps). Doe we have to do something else to see these files?

    Not correct. From the terms of use of the itunes store:
    "PRODUCTS CAN BE DOWNLOADED ONLY ONCE; AFTER BEING DOWNLOADED, THEY CANNOT BE REPLACED IF LOST FOR ANY REASON. YOU SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BACKING UP YOUR OWN SYSTEM, INCLUDING ANY PRODUCTS PURCHASED OR RENTED FROM THE ITUNES STORE THAT ARE STORED IN YOUR SYSTEM."

    You can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases
    You can try contacting itunes support to ask for an exception, but they are under no obligation to do so.

  • The Adobe product that installed "Adobe Device Central" has not been activated.

    After the download for the CS5.5 Design Standard finished, I pressed the handy button labeled "Download Complete! Open bundle." However, when I press that, I get a message that says:

    This has been the case for multiple attempts at varied times. What do I do?

  • Have instructions for MSVCR80 problem. Now cannot download itunes. A second after pressing Download it says Thank You but hasn't down. How can I get itunes back?loaded.

    I deleted all the programmes as advised using Control Panel and then some programmes files in Computer as advised. Not all would delete. I then went to itunes in Apple and pressed Bownload. A second later it said Thank you for downloading, but it had not. Why will iTunes not download?

    Try resetting the device ..
    Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears then try re downloading the music. You won't be charged again.
    Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
    If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
    Then try again.

    When I try to download Norton Internet Security Suite I get this message "No product available for your device."
    I recently got a new computer and wanted to install the security suite on it and got this message.  Can anyone tell me why I got this message.

    The compatibiity update for the Comcast version of Norton has not been released yet, but wil be released prior to the guesstimated release date of Win 10 (Juy 29th).  Norton never has supported any OS prior to it's offfical roll out.

    (Note, mine says 28 days because I have been waiting for a fair bit for this to go away.)

    You can't keep changing the ID you use with iTunes, you are limited to once every 90 days.

  • "This message has not been downloaded from the server" - Multiple devices all using Exchange Active Sync

    We are having this issue across multiple IOS devices ranging from IOS version 5.x up to the latest 6.1.2. Many (not all) emails sent to the devices are unreadable and simply state: "This message has not been downloaded from the server". Microsoft believes this to be some sort of bug with the IOS devices in the way they are handling the SSL encryption.
    Facts:
    - Devices are connected to an Exchange 2010 SP1 Rollup 6 via Active Sync (No POP3, IMAP or SMTP)
    - issue occurs on multiple IOS devices within the organization ranging from IOS 5.x up to the latest 6.1.2
    - Issue occurs on both external cellular data and internal wireless networks
    - Not all emails sent to the devices result in the error, but issue does tend to occur more frequently from certain senders/domains
    - Using the same user account on an android phone does not result in an issue (even when receiving the exactly same email that has been sent to the IOS devices)
    - Closing mail app / rebooting device does not resolve the issue
    - Doesn't appear to matter what the mesage format is (can be html, plaintext, etc)
    - Spent nearly 7 hours with Microsoft going through the Exchange server configuration and looking for possible causes. None have been found and all testing indicates things are setup correctly.
    - This is not a case of Issue 2.3 listed here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2563324 (verified by Microsoft Support)
    - If we disable SSL on the IOS device and connect via plain HTTP the messages are displayed correctly!
    - If we use a different SSL certificate, the issue still occurs - so not a problem with the original cert.
    Does anyone have any suggestions on what would cause this? Does the ISO devices have any sort of log that would indicate why it's reporting this error? The current error is pretty unhelpful.

    GFI Have a solution for this problem. It is to do with iOS implementation of reading the message headers when SPF compliance modifications are made by GFI.
