Downloading purchases onto my MacBook Air

Hi there,
Is there a way to download (from iTunes, not from the iMac itself) songs I purchased on my iMac, onto my MacBook Air?
Thanks in advance, Craig

iTunes on both Macs must be authorized to the same iTMS account. both Macs should have access to the internet and be on the same network.
click on the house icon under shared ...
... to load the other Mac's library. then look for the two buttons @ the lower right corner of the iTunes window. one says settings, the other import. both buttons will only be visible when the shared library is connected.
in settings you select which content is automatically transferred. to import content from the other Mac's library, select it from the list and click import.

  • I am trying to visit a website that requires explorer as the browser and I don't know how to download it onto my MacBook Air.

Can someone help me download Explorer to my Macbook Air?  I am trying to visit a website that requires Explorer as my browser.

Microsoft has not written Internet Exporer for Mac for years but you could try this work around.
With Safari open, from the menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select:  Show Develop menu in menu bar
Back to the menu bar click Develop > User Agent  then select Internet Explorer 10.0
    Then try that website.
    No guarantees that will work.

  • I am not able to download Yosemite onto my Macbook Air.

    Please help me!
I've been trying to download Yosemite through the app store and by the time it finishes downloading the software and installing it, it said there is something wrong with the program. It said the file is couldn't recognize it and it is either tampered or corrupt. I have downloaded it multiple times and restarted the computer but it still gives the same response.

    Thank You.

On your iPhone, tap Settings > ITunes & App Store
    Switch Music  ON.
If that doesn't help, check restrictions. Settings > General > Restrictions

What is your Acrobat XI version?  If less than 11.0.09 I would suggest that you update, then try again.  Download updates from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Macintosh
Note that you posted in the forum for Acrobat.com online services; you may get better help if you ask in the Acrobat forum.

I took away my backup disk with me so just took it from there excellent. I am back home at present working on my imac. When I go to use my macbook air on these projects (when away on boat) is it easiest to simply copy the Project and Events folders in total from my imac onto the other machine and do the same upon my return in reverse? I don't use icloud

  • Install OS X Lion onto 2013 Macbook air

I just purchased a new macbook air and would like to install a copy of OS X lion that I purchased onto it. How can I go about doing this? I have an Apple provided install flash drive and it will infinitely sit on the apple logo. I can't get past this screen. help!

Apple does not approve of loading older versions of OS X then what the Mac shipped with.
From the sounds of it, you appear to have discovered that for yourself that you can't install the older version then the one that shipped with it.
Seriously what do you really hope to gain by downgrading any way?

  • I installed Adobe Flash Player 11.7.700.169 onto my Macbook Air (OS 10.7.5) and when I went onto website it still read that I need update. I've tried 3x and still same message.

I successfully installed Adobe Flash Player 11.7.700.169 onto my Macbook Air 2012 (OS 10.7.5) and when I went onto website (Morrision Planetarium-California Academy of Science) it still read that I need update. I've tried 3x and still same message.  Is there something I am doing wrong?  Quite frustrating!

If you're sure you've installed the latest version of Flash, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test. For a "missing plug-in" error, start with Step 4.
    1. If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, then from the menu bar select
     ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Check Now. Quit and relaunch your browser.
    2. Triple-click the line below to select it:
    /Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Right-click or control-click the highlighted text and select
    Services ▹ Open
from the contextual menu. A folder should open. Delete the following item, or anything with a similar name, if present:
    Flash Player (failing).plugin
You may be prompted for your login password.
    3. Re-download and reinstall Flash. Download it from this page:
Adobe - Install Adobe Flash Player
Never download a Flash update from anywhere else.
    4. If you get a "missing plug-in" error, select
    Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
from the Safari menu bar and check the box marked Enable plug-ins.
    5. Select
    Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
from the Safari menu bar. If any extensions are installed, disable them.
    6. In the Safari preference window, select
Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
    Close the window. Then select
     ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Delete All. Close the preference pane.

  • When I downloaded iWork on my MacBook Air, it didn't copy the application to my other devices. Is that an error or should I buy them again on each device!?

Just redownlod it from the Mac App Store on any other Macs - you won't have to pay for them again. On your iOS devices you will need to purchase the iOS version which is a different program - again, you will only need to buy it the once for all your iOS devices.
