  • Download SOA Suite 10g

    Hello All,
I need to install SOA Suite 10.1.3.4.0 on my machine. Can anyone please let me know what all to install in a sequence. Also, please give the links to download.
    Thanks,
    Naresh

    You must install:
    1. Oracle database
    2. Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.4.0 (Oracle Application Server)
    3. JDeveloper 10.1.3.4.0
(I can't remember if you have to install 10.1.3.1.0 and then upgrade to 10.1.3.4 using patchset but I guess it's direct)
    Take a look: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/soasuite/documentation/soasuite10g-161343.html#101340

  • Cannot find SOA Suite 11.1.1.2

I download SOA suite 11.1.1.2 (ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.2.0_disk1_1of1.zip), weblogic 10.3.2, and RCU 11.1.1.2. Then, I install them.
However during SOA configuration, in the step of Generate a domain configured automatically to support the following products, all the product (SOA Suite, EM, BAM, JRF) versions are 11.1.1.0
    Where is SOA Suite 11.1.1.2?
I post this thread in SOA Suite forum. But no one tell me how to do next.

    Hi,
I'll forward your question internally. Maybe a labeling issue

  • SOA Suite 11.1.1.3.0 (patch)  information required.

I am trying to setup SOA 11g but still having no luck. this statement is written in every installation guide
Download SOA Suite 11.1.1.3.0 (patch) from the FMW download page, in the Runtime Software section.
but i am unable to find any patch of SOA Suite 11.1.1.3.0 infact there is a SOA Suite 11.1.1.3.0 release available.
Kindly get me out of this confusion is there any patch script or need to install the whole release available there.

The 11.1.1.2.0 version is a full release.
The 11.1.1.3.0 version is a patch which can only be installed if the 11.1.1.2.0 version is installed (so it actually is a patch)
so for your installation you need to download both and install both...thats all

  • Is 'Repository Creation Utility' a mandatory for SOA Suite

    Hi All,
I am new to Oracle Weblogic 11g application server. I worked on Oracle 10g app server. I am very much interested in BPEL and planning to learn BPEL and SOA related concepts.
I have Jdeveloper 11.1.1.0.1, Oracle Weblogic server 10.3.2, Oracle Database 10.2.0.3 for windows vista installed in my laptop.
Now I downloaded SOA Suite 11.1.1.2.0 and JDeveloper SOA Composite editor. But in the required additional software list of SOA Suite there is a requirement for *'Repository Creation Utility'*.
Can anyone provide me the link for documentation of what is this and why it is required?
I worked in BPEL on Oracle 10g and there was no such extra repository creation utility. I am very much novice in this technology and planning to learn only basic concepts of BPEL (Basic is very generalized word here. I mean using adapters, working with web services in BPEL etc.).
For these kind of basics and running SOA Suite is repository creation utility a mandatory requirement?
If yes, can I install repository creation utility with my database version of *10.2.0.3* (Because I read that repository creation utility works with 10.2.0.4 or higher)?
If no, how can i get the patchset to upgrade my database to 10.2.0.4 from 10.2.0.3.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Pavan.

1--> Yes, it is mandatory to run "RCU" for installing/developing using FMW/SOA Suite 11g.
2--> You dont need to install RCU, it can be downloaded as a zip file and once you unzip it, it can be run directly.
3--> "What it is" --> At a higher level it is a bunch of scripts required to create tablespaces related to SOA/BPEL Processes. As you may know that BPEL processes are stateful processes and their states etc need to be stored in a database.
4--> Even in Oracle 10g there used to be repository, but it got installed by default and tables created in default olite database.

  • Is Oracle JDeveloper 12c Studio is an all-encompassing SOA suite?

    Hello,
Need some clarification on this whole SOA puzzle.   Turns out there are more than one "current" version of Jdevelopers.
Oracle SOA's latest release is 11g.   Jdeveloper Suite latest release is 12c.    When you download SOA Suite from OTN, you get 11g not 12c.
So the question is, in order to learn latest of SOA suite and FMW,  which one should be downloaded?
If 12c is not SOA suite than, is it supported when used with SOA suite 11g.
    Please advise.
    Darsh

    Hi Darsh,
Oracle recommends you use the version of JDeveloper which correlates with the version of SOA Suite you are using. So if you just want to "learn the latest of SOA suite and FMW" I suggest downloading the 11.1.1.7 version of JDeveloper and SOA Suite.
Event though there are later versions of JDeveloper they don't have the necessary SOA add ons required.

  • Failing to assemble Downloaded Pre-built Virtual Machine for  SOA Suite and BPM Suite 11g

    Hello,
I checked the download checksum of the files downloaded for Pre-built Virtual Machine for  SOA Suite and BPM Suite 11g ( Pre-built Virtual Machine for SOA Suite and BPM Suite 11g ) and they all match checksums.
however, when I try to assemble them with 7zip, I get a corrupt error message.  I have tried downloading with Chrome and Internet Explorer.  I have also tried assembling the 7zip files different ways.
Is there anything else I should try?
Running on Windows 7, 64 bit machine.  (with lots of disk space).
Is there any other way to get the files?
    thank you.

    thanks for the response
I guess I will have to do that as well.
However, it defeats the speed with which can ramp up with the toolset;  thus slowing my time I can allocate to learning it...

  • SOA Suite Download and documentation

    Hi All,
I am new to the SOA world and want to learn the technology. Where can I find the documents online and which book should I buy? What will be the starting point for SOA? Also, I am trying to download the SOA suite from http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/soa/index.html but after accepting the agreement, it gives me 404:document not found error.
Appreciate if someone can help me downloading the latest SOA suite.

    Hi ,
SOA Quick Start Guide is below.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/core.1013/b28938/intro.htm
Other Docs can be accessed at "http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/index.htm".
Though these docs give you loads and loads of information, one good book wud be "http://www.amazon.com/Oracle-SOA-Suite-Developers-Guide/dp/1847193552".
For Downloading, you are at the right location: I tried the link and it works.
probablly u cud check after sometime.

  • JCAPS 6.0 SOA Suite download

    Hi All,
How can i download JCAPS 6.0 SOA Suite? Help me.

  • Q: SOA Suite download - username ?

Just downloadet the SOA Suite (10.1.3.1) and need to start working on a demo, fail to find the single-singn-.on username / password documented anywhere?
Any assistance is much appriciated - I appoligize in case the solution is obvious..

    username is oc4jadmin
The password is usually given at install time, if you don't know it follow these instrunctions:
    1. Stop the home instance: opmnctl stopproc process-type=home
    2. Edit j2ee/home/config/system-jazn-data.xml (make a backup copy first).
    3. Find the oc4j admin tab, and where the obfuscated password is, enclosed by the <Credentials> and </Credentials> tabs, delete it and enter your new password, which must be prefixed with an exclamation mark (!) e.g. !Conifer7 (rules are : > 5 chars, must have at least one number).
    4. Delete the contents of the
    ORACLE_HOME\j2ee\home\persistence\ascontrol\ascontrol\securestore directory
(there will typically be 2 files in here).
    5. Restart the home instance, and test to see if you can now login to host:port/em.
    6. Optionally, open the system-jazn-data.xml file and check that the
startup has re-encrypted the password you entered.
If you are just starting I suggect you upgrade to 10.1.3.4. This download is in the same location as the 10.1.3.1 install.
    cheers
