Downloading songs to another ipod
Is there any way to download songs onto 2 different ipods? Im not very technically advanced on things like this so any advice on the easiest way to do this would be appreciated.
The same way you download onto one ipod.
I know of no limit to the number of ipods that yo can sync. I have three ipods and one iphone all syncing to the same itunes library.

Downloading songs on another ipod
how can i downlaod songs from my computer onto another ipod than mine? thank you
Well as long as you woud'nt be giving them copyrighted music you would simply put their Ipod into mannuel mode and than drag and drop music into it from Itunes.

Hello Decu90,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
From your post I understand that you need to sync your iPod nano with a new computer. To learn how to sync songs to your iPod, please take a look at the article below.

Is it possible to download songs from another computer?
I have a new ipod shuffle that i just got it recently. I dont have internet connection currently because I'm travelling. Is it possible to download songs from another computer. My main computer would be my laptop.
Yes but it would probably overwrite the songs currently on your iPod when it syncs to the new computer.

I accidentally started a download of around 25 songs on iTunes using a gift card, but did it too the wrong iPod. Is there a way too cancel the downloads and transfer the unused credit too my other iPod?
Downloaded songs to wrong iPod. Can I stop, re-do on other iPod, get credit of unused downloads?!
iPod touch 2nd generation iPod touch with 4.2.1 iOS, stopping iTunes, downloading midway,You should be able to connect the iPod to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over and you can then sync them to your other iPod.

Download songs FROM video iPod TO computer?
My computer was off getting fixed so I downloaded a CD (not mine, so I don't have it anymore) onto another computer and then downloaded the 10 or so songs onto my iPod. Now whenever I connect my iPod to MY computer those songs show up in my library, but when I disconnect it (by ejecting it) they disappear from my library. I can understand why this is happening, but can't find anything on how to fix it. Is there any way to get these songs FROM my iPod TO my computer's iTunes library? If so, how?

Downloading songs from another pc
I have made a playlist on my pc at home and now I am travelling through South-America for four months. I want to download some new music to my iPod without losing the music that is already on my iPod. How should I do this? When I plug my iPod into a pc in an internetcafe I am asked the following question:
¨The iPod Anton is linked to another iTunes music library. Do you want to change the link to the other music library and exchange all the existing songs and playlists by the ones in this library?¨
I fear that I will loose the songs on my iPod if I answer YES to this question. Can somebody tell me how to succeed in downloading new songs and keeping my current songs and playlists?
Much thanx in advance!
Greetings,
AntonHi!

Downloaded songs on my ipod touch does not sync into my library
When i download songs or music videos directly on my ipod touch from the itunes store it does not sync into my library when i plug the ipod into my computer. Although they do show up on My Device when i have connected to computer. but not in library. I tried to drag into library and or playlist but no luck there either. But the apps i downloaded did transfer to my library.I do not have my ipod set up to auto sync .But thought i could do it manually by dragging.Help would greatly be appreciated.
Dragging won't work, but you should be able to click on the device, then choose File>Transfer Purchases, and see your music and videos on the computer.

My ipod touch got stolen and i didnt download the trackking app i really need it back it has all my music and information on it.. What should i do? Can i use another ipod to download the app and find it on someone elses? Please help
No app is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.
- Apple will do nothing without a court order

Can't download songs even though Ipod only 1/2 full
Only 3.7 GB used with 3.6 free space, however, when I try to download more songs, indication is "ipod full". I deleted about 20 songs, and still indicates "full". Tried reset, didn't work. 1.1 GB video,29.0 MB pictures, nothing else.
Hello yenaj9,
And welcome to Apple Discussions!
Have you tried restoring your iPod yet via iTunes? If not, I think that would be your next step.

Downloaded songs skipping on iPod
Have a 20G iPod and Windows XP Tablet PC edition. Have updated iTunes and iPod software & reloaded. All songs downloaded from iTunes on certain days SKIP on iPod. Some play 6 secs the skip to next song, some play 120 secs. then skip. Got iTunes to authorize a complete "re-download" of all songs affected. Re-sync'd iPod with new downloads in new playlist. STILL SKIPPING. Reset iPod - no help. Any ideas? Cna't stand the skipping!!! ARGHHHHHHHH! Thanks.
There may be something wrong with the authorization file on your iPod.
I think the authorizations file on the iPod is corrupted.
With iTunes shut down, go into Windows Explorer
Make sure your folder options are set to show hidden files. If you are not showing hidden files, you won't see it.
Delete this file
ipod drive letter:\iPod_Control\iTunes\iEKInfo
Eject the iPod using the windows "safely remove hardwaer"
Now open iTunes and plug in the iPod. iTunes should rebuild that file to put on the iPod.
Let me know if that works. I've also read the iTunes Library.itl file being corrupted can cause this "skipping over purchased songs on the iPod" problem. -
