Downloading TV shows onto DVD's not possible?

I've purchased some tv shows from iTunes and can't seem to download onto any discs that will work in my DVD player? Is this not possible to do, or are they meant only to be played on iPods and pc's? Maybe I'm just using the wrong type of DVD's? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

No, it's not possible. You are only allowed to burn your shows a data disc for backup purposes only. All of these files are protected & due to the protection can't be burned to a DVD that is playable on any home player.

How to burn decent resolution slide show onto DVD ?

First of all I'm a newbie to this (PS8 Elements and Premier). I have a slide show with music in "Slide Show Editor". When I view this slide show in 'Full Screen Preview" I see a decent resolution but when I burn the slide show onto a DVD the resolution sucks if it's shown in "Full Screen". ( the slide show looks decent if shown in a smaller screen). I took the pictures with a 7 mega pixel camera. Another thing that happens when viewing "Full Screen" in the burned DVD is the text (if it fills the whole screen) some text is hidden around the borders.I burn the DVD in the Premier program.

Artboard not showing in Photoshop - Update not possible, because download fails

Hi,
I keep having issues with Photoshop CS5. Sometimes when I open a file, the image itself doesn't show (the artboard). In the layers I see the file is open, but I can't see the image. When I restart the computer it usually works again. It's not a problem of the videocard, it has been replaced.
I can't do an update on any Adobe programs either, because it keeps saying "There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later." And the same thing again and again.
Any ideas on those two issues?

How do I burn a slide show onto dvd in yosemite?

I don't get it. I mean I've burned a few disk. Ones a mp4, and the other is file or something. I don't understand. It seems apple is making things more difficult. Can someone help me out? i have a mid 12 MacBook pro.

Export the slideshow out of iPhoto as a QT movie file via the Export button in the lower toolbar. Select Size = Medium or Large.
Open iDVD, select a theme and drag the exported QT movie file into the open iDVD window being careful to avoid any drop zones.
Follow this workflow to help assure the best qualty video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
If iDVD was not preinstalled on your Mac you'll have to obtain it by purchasing a copy of the iLife 09 disk from a 3rd party retailier like Amazon.com: ilife 09: Software or eBay.com. Why, because iDVD (and iWeb) was discontinued by Apple over a year ago.
Why iLife 09 instead of 11?
If you have to purchase an iLife disc in order to obtain the iDVD application remember that the iLife 11 disc only provides themes from iDVD 5-7. The Software Update no longer installs the earlier themes when starting from the iLIfe 11 disk nor do any of the iDVD 7 updaters available from the Apple Downloads website contain them.
Currently the only sure fire way to get all themes is to start with the iLife 09 disc:

You then can upgrade from iDVD 7.0.3 to iDVD 7.1.2 via the updaters at the Apple Downloads webpage.

Ripped TV Shows from DVDs do not show up in iPod TV Shows category/folder

I have ripped some DVD TV shows and want them on my iPod. I have properly used the ID tag (Under Show Info, Options tab) to choose TV Show as the correct "Video Kind". But still they don't show up on my iPod in the TV Shows folder. Other videos that are from music CDs I have labeled Music Videos but they show up on my iPod in the Movies Folder.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I tunes jammed on downloading a podcast- revolving coloured wheel - not possible to o anything except force quit. What can I do?

I have an IMac desktop, about 18 months old. ITunes has been jamming intermittently for a few weeks, with a revolving coloured wheel and very slow performance as I download or delete podcasts from iTunes store. Now it has jammed entirely, downloading a video podcast. I cannot perform any functions at all - except force quit. I have left it running for long periods to see if that resolve the problem, also attempted to downbload another version of iTunes. No difference. I have reported the fault on the dialogue box many times. What can I do?

Incorrect but it's smart to backup, I'd recommend backing up to Time Machine and also use a seperate EHD and create a bootable clone using SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner.

Itunes downloaded tv show plays on itunes, not on ipod. PLEASE HELP !

I have downloaded TV programs from the ITunes store. They play in Itunes and appear in the listings on my Ipod. However, when I click on them to play them, the little Play symbol appears, the screen goes dark for about 10 seconds and then it returns to the list. All the latest software is on. When I am going to install new app from OVI WiFi or from my Notepad shows msg that's not possible... I Upgrade the store and I install 5-7 app and again the same problem,now I upgrade the phone to news version Anna and again I was able to install about 10 app and the phone stop to install programs... Furthering on from Ztuka, this limit is set for paid applications. You can re-download it up to 10 times by signing into Nokia Store and accessing My Stuff. In case you have lost any purchased content items in your My Stuff, for example because the item has been unpublished and removed from Nokia Store, please contact Nokia Care for further assistance (http://nokia.com/support and choose Contact Us). Give a short problem description, your Nokia account username and the name of the content item you wish to re-download.
Note that your new device must be compatible with your previous downloads.
If you have further issues with this, try the following:
Check your settings in application manager and make sure that "Software Installation" should be set to "All" and "Online Certificate check" to "off ".
Alternatively, you could try a workaround by downloading the apps on your computer and syncing it through data cable.

Is it possible to record a TV show onto a DVD Rewriteable, or DVD R?

You can connect almost any type of recording device to a Comcast box and play back or watch live in real time using the analog video outputs on the back of the Comcast box.
As an example if the subscriber owned a stand alone DVD recorder, connect to the DVR or cable box with composite yellow video and red / white for audio to the video input on the recorder, and match the colors to the rear panel on the DVR. Setup the recorder to record from the video input and place the DVR in play. You can choose any type of blank DVD disk that would work in that recorder.
Same if you wanted to record to a computer, you would need a capture card and proper recording software on the computer to record from that composite video cable.

Is it possible to record a TV show onto a DVD Rewriteable? I would think that DVDs are now like VHS tapes. Can we use our own DVD Recorders, or must we have the show recorded by Xfinity/Comcast? The message comes up right after I click import, before I choose a file to upload.Here is the information I can think of that might be needed to answer this question:
- I always download my photos onto an external hard drive.It is about 10 % full.
- It says I have Lightroom 5.6 64 bit
- I am working from a newer laptop (Windows). The internal drive on the laptop has 289 gb and I am using 61 gb total memory.
- I have edited 2794 photos in Lightroom and it is all in one catalog.
- I did not have this problem until I made the update. I did have my first "bug" earlier this week when one of my photos had a line show up through the middle of it when I exported it. I was able to export it a second time without the line.
If there is more info. needed, let me know. I do photography as a hobby and know enough about Lightroom to edit out blemishes and adjust color balance, but not too much more, so forgive my ignorance if this is an obvious fix.

Not Enough Memory typically refers to RAM. How much RAM do you have on your 64-bit OS computer? Do you have other programs running that may be using most of the memory?
