Downloading won't work

songs purchased in itunes error out instead of downloading. iPhoto update starts then stalls out. backup to separate drive also stopped working. Latest update to OS X downloaded OK first. What gives?

FIRST try to reset your PRAM: really easy i promise

Create a new test user and see if you can download a free song from the app store. If it works you know it is User specific... let me know
IF it still will not work in new user:
try an arhcive and reinstall of OS X.
1.) shut the computer off.
2.) boot ro recovery --hold option after turning the computer on until two options appear and select the recovery drive
3.)select english
you will now see OSX UTILITIES
select reinstall osx
(you may have to select your network)
tehn go through with the reinstall
this will not erase your data... as long as you only seect reinstall.

First try a hard reset. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If still no luck, try downloading another free app from the App Store.

Lastly, try to restore the iPod from a previous backup or restoring it to factory settings.

Trial download won't work on Mac

I'm trying to download the Muse trial version onto my Mac but it won't work. I get the following error message:
"You are running an operating system that Muse no longer supports. Refer to the system requirements for a full list of supported platforms."
Is there any way to work around this? I'm currently using Mac OS X 10.6.8

Firefox 4 downloaded, won't work with my Mac, lost 3.6.10 where can I find this version to download

I was running Firefox 3.6.10 and received an update notice to download the latest version. After download and replacement(of new version) in Applications, I tried to open the new file and got a message that this version won't run on my Mac 10.4.11. I want to download Firefox 3.6.10 but cannot find it on the website. Any suggestions???

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

Cloud download won't work

Hi
I've just purchased The Times app from the App Store, but it won't download onto my ipad - it's showing the cloud and arrow icon, but when I click on it it just says 'you have already purchased this so will download for no charge' then thinks for a bit and reverts to the cloud icon.
I've tried resetting, I've logged out and back in again, I'm not sure what to do next?
How do I actually get to use it?

Error Message 8003?? Download won't work!! Help PLEASE!

I have a new iPod nano (2d gen) and tried to download music onto it from the iTunes store. Each time, I am foiled at the downloading cycle with "Error Message 8003--unknown error." The download basically freezes between the store and the computer. What am I doing wrong?? Please help!!

Based on the information that you have provided it looks like during the software update the device was not able to re connect to the Mac which in turn caused the 507 error on your BlackBerry Smartphone. The 507 error basically indicates that there is no OS on the device. This issue can be resolved by reloading the software on your BlackBerry Smartphone. Photoshop Elements 12 download won't work

I have contacted the helpdesk in India several times. Instructions are to download 2 files -- a .7z file and an .exe file. Extract files from the .exe file then use the setup file to install from the .7z file. I am unable to extract the files -- I keep getting this error message:
"A problem occurred while extracting some files. Check available space on our computer and the write privileges on the destination folder."
There is no lack of space on my new computer, and I have write privileges on the destination folder.
How do I deal with this?

both files should be in the same folder. you then click (or double click) the exe.

CS3 fireworks trial download won't work, why?

Do a simple Reset:

For all that FF is supposed to be for me it's junk. I've spent hours trying to solve the download problem with realplayer and youtube. Finally tried FF but one obstacle after another. The youtube downloader won't work with this latest version of FF. If I try to download other things I get the stupid pop up saying to download FF. Already have it dumb ass! Turn off SnapChat.
Go to Settings > Notification Center
Turn off SnapChat.
Restart the device.
Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
Turn on SnapChat.

Test the issue.
