Ok Apple, I upgraded my library as you desired. I paid over $29 for the upgrade as stated in my purchase history. You have 118 of my songs which I get an error for that the iTunes Store is unavailable. Then I get another link an hour later for 30 songs, another $6...I'm thankful for the delivery of the 30 songs, but I'd like my remaining 118, please.
Also, your Report a Problem link on this order isn't working. It takes me back to the list of songs I ordered, not to the Report screen. Report a Problem works on the other orders I'd placed in my history.
Beware all....before you upgrade your library. Apparently there are bugs which are costing people money.

There are several threads on the same topic. I have a feeling their billing system is severely overloaded. I've heard a number of people have had no issues- they click Buy and their songs are downloaded.
With me, every time I try I get a dialog saying to wait for an email- but each time it's an email that says they can't process my (correct, working) payment info. It's very disappointing. And ditto on the report not working. Doesn't seem to be a way to submit a support ticket at all.

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with installing the latest iTunes update. I recommend following the steps below:
Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.
When you get to the step to uninstall iTunes, it is important to uninstall iTunes and the related components in the order listed in the link for that step.

The issue is that your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside in order to purchase iTunes content.

First, try resetting your iPhone.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive

WhatsApp no longer available for new iPhone downloads?

My factory-unlocked iPhone 4, bought straight from the Apple Online Store, was delivered to me on Friday. I tried downloading WhatsApp from the App Store but the app couldn't be found there. I tried going through the WhatsApp site in the hope that the site would direct the download through the App Store but that didn't work either. So I then tried to sync the programme file, which was working on another iPhone, to my iPhone through iTunes but that won't work either. The transfer goes through to the phone but I keep getting an error saying "WhatsApp failed to install." Am I to conclude that WhatsApp is no longer available for the iPhone for new downloads? The WhatsApp website still has the iPhone listed as one of their supported devices but the installation just won't work. Has their policy changed? If so, is there any other free multi-platform instant messenger that I can use for contacts who are BlackBerry and Android users? I haven't any issues downloading any other apps at all and the phone works beautifully. Please someone help me with this one! Thank you.

Closed Caption Features for iTune Movie Downloads?

While I was glad to see that Apple plans to offer a movie download service with the iTunes Store, I'm still inclined to NOT use the service if there's no assurance that closed captioned/subtitled movies will be available as well.
Will iTunes Movie downloads include captioned media?
Today's DVDs all have features enabling us to turn on captions/subtitles and it's already a shame that Netflix, according to a representative's comment made nearly two years ago, will not provide captioned movies "until the near future"...
I hope Apple takes its hearing-impaired (deaf and hard of hearing) customer base into consideration...and it IS a sizeable customer base.

The question on the minds of the millions of deaf and hard of hearing people is whether Apple will make or enable captioning for their downloadable movies. I blogged about this a few weeks ago at HearingExchange online here: http://www.hearingexchange.com/blogs/?p=93 Apple didn't consider people with hearing loss when they made their iPhone non-compatible with hearing aids and cochlear implant processors. For a technology company, they aren't keeping up with accessibility trends. What is the direct download link for iTunes 11.4 32 Bit for Windows?

Everytime I click to download itunes from the main page (www.apple.com/itunes/download) , the download doesn't start, just brings me to the thank you downloading page after clicking DOWNLOAD ITUNES NOW button. But if i get the direct link, i could enter it into my address bar, the download would initiate. Does anyone know how to fix this on either my computer, or simply know the address where it is located so I could get iTunes 11.4 for my ipad mini with IOS 8.0.2 on it?

Sorry it doesn't download in 15 min. I'm on a slow connection (5Mbit).
If I have a direct link I can get it with a download manager in about 4 hours for a 5GB download.
iTunes and app store takes 2 days because the bandwidth is throttled to 10% of the available bandwidth by osx. App store and iTunes will time out and it is impossible to recover/resume downloads with apple software - apple forces you to download from the beginning after it times out.
Apple software for OSX and IOS are terrible for downloading large files on a slow network connection. I don't think its reasonable to have to leave a computer running 24-48 hours to download something that can be downloaded in 4 hours.

Fox Digital Download issues for iTunes

I have Itunes version 11.0.4 and I am trying to import a Fox digital copy of a movie into Itunes, however every time I double click to import I receive the error message that it "requires Itunes version 7.6.2 or newer" and requests that I update Itunes. I see it states to go to iTunes directly and select the movie, but where/how to I enter the code for the free download?

Never mind. I found the redeem link at the very bottom of the iTunes screen. Very tiny.

I am having the same issue! And I have tried everything from updates, to moving the coremedia.dll file, to uninstalling and reinstalling so many times im afraid they are not gonna let me download it anymore!!! Please can somebody help??
