Downloads from apple get stuck at the same point on all my apple devices

Itunes - If I buy a movie from Itunes it will down load to a certian point usually 5 or 10 mins in to the movie then it will never download any further. The only way to get the download is to download the movie on my PC at work the bring it home on a USB drive.
This is true of my Imac, Apple TV and Mac Book Pro at home.
App store - Tonight I have tried to download OS X Mountain Lion and it gets stuck at 142MB no matter how many times I re set it.
I have tried putting App Store into Debug mode and resetting it.
Can there be something wrong with my account that is causing this? , but if that was the case I would not be able to do the downloads at work. Apple support has been as usual totally useless and I am certainly never going to buy another apple product again but it would be good if the ones I have could work.

If you check for software updates using the App Store in OS X 10.8 and get "NSURLErrorDomain error -1100" the problem may be with your Software Update preferences. This is particularly likely if you were using a custom Apple Software Update server. To solve the problem, quit the App Store, move the following two files (if present) to the trash, restart, and only then rerun App Store updates:
/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist

I was recently trying to upgrade to mountain lion through the app store. I have unreliable Internet from a cable company whom I will not name, but we all know who they are. My Internet dropped while downloading the upgrade. Once I went through the notorious unplug the modem/router and plugged it back in to gain Internet connectivity again, I could not resume. No matter what I did, the app store kept displaying "an error occurred." I am hoping that those with the same issue read this first to save them hours of skimming through the Internet to find a solution. Here are the steps to take:
1. Make sure you have reestablished Internet connection
2. Chances are you got frustrated when you tried to resume/unpause the download and clicked the "X" to the left. If so, select the "Store" drop-down menu from the App Store and select "View My Account." There should be an option to unhide your purchase. You know what to do.
3. There is also an option to reset all warnings for buying and downloading under "View My Account." Do this, click "Done," sign out of the App Store and quit the App Store.
4. Open the Preferences in safari and select Privacy. Select "Remove All Website Data." Just do it.
5. Launch the app store and sign in.
6. Now, if you "Check for Unfinished Downloads" everything works peachy.
I hope this helps. Not much I can do for your Internet connection though.

Go to Main Menu->Options->Applications and check whether the apps that you've updated are displayed or not. If yes, try to delete the applications and make a fresh install of the apps.

Yes, first try deleing both songs.
If still problem
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, ,make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I am having trouble importing photos, gets stuck on the same photo each time?!?

I am having trouble importing almost 3000 pics from my phone to my computer. Start up disk should be fine, cleaned it up before I began. Import gets stuck on the same photo each time I try the import. I have had to force quit a few times, and it can't seem to get past that same picture near the end. Please help?!? It never gives me an error, it just keeps spinning and nothing is importing.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Deleting an iCloud account only deletes it from the Device, not from iCloud. In iOS 8, the name of this setting changed to "Sign Out" as that is a better reflection of what actually happens. Your iCloud data remains on the server, available to devices still signed into the account, but the device you sign out of the account on is disconnected from the account, and as a result, the iCloud data from that account is removed from the device. It will redownload to the device should you sign back into the account.
The only issue you'll run into when you switch between accounts is with my photo stream photos older than 30 days. When you delete (or sign out of) and account, your photo stream photos are deleted along with the other data from the account in question. However, unlike other data which remains on the server and can redownload to your device when you sign back in, my photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days. When you sign back in, you will only get back my photo stream photos added in the last 30 days (as older photos are no longer in iCloud to redownload). Like other account data, any my photo stream photos on your other devices signed into the account are unaffected by this. If you want to keep older my photo stream photos on your device as you change iCloud accounts, save them to your camera roll before deleting (signing out of) the account.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Thats not possible I'm afraid, only the Apple TV can receive an AirPlay stream, and even then only one at a time, unless you stream from a computer.

Make sure Mail is swtiched ON.

I'm getting stuck again and again at the point where it asks to insert the Word text in the 3 placeholders. First one OK, and then it's like: "figure the rest out for yourself". What exactly goes in container 2 and in container 3? For instance I think the part with the 'links' should not be inserted. And the last paragraph does not appear in the example in the first part of the tutorial. If the creator of the tutorial feels it necessary to tell us that it's no problem if you've never built a website before, then he should keep it step by step and keep the learning curve for a first timer in mind! I HAVE built a few websites before, but this one keeps me puzzled over and again, because the result is not what is shown in the tutorial, and the images do not correspond fully to what I get to see in the Dreamweaver CC panels. One does not learn from just "do this and do that", but only if the reasons why are given as well.

Web design is a complex subject, so attempting to cover absolutely everything in half an hour of videos is impossible, but the target audience is subscribers to Creative Cloud, who might already be familiar with other Adobe programs, but are new to Dreamweaver. It's intended to provide a brief sampler of what Dreamweaver is capable of. The written tutorial is aimed at beginners who need more detailed help.
As I mentioned earlier, the videos were recorded using the original version of Dreamweaver CC. The colour picker was updated in Dreamweaver 13.1, which explains why you don't see the colour swatches shown in the video. However, the updated colour picker brings Dreamweaver in line with other Adobe programs, so it was felt that the change would be sufficiently familiar to designers. I'm sorry if it confused you.
Although you say you have built websites before, I wonder if you have a good knowledge of HTML and CSS? Understanding both technologies is essential to success with Dreamweaver. If you feel uncomfortable with code or don't want to learn it, you might be better off using Adobe Muse, which is also part of the Creative Suite. It's designed to build websites without a need for working with the code.
On the other hand, if you would like to persevere with Dreamweaver, I suggest that you take a look at Approaches to learning web design. It's a short video (less than 3 minutes) created by James Williamson, and is one of the free videos in Dreamweaver CC: Essential Training in the lynda.com Online Training Library. As James explains, his course doesn't cover the fundamentals of HTML and CSS. Yet his "essential training" course runs for more than eight hours. My own Dreamweaver CC: Learn by Video course (published by Peachpit/Adobe Press) runs for approximately 12 hours, and it still doesn't cover every aspect of web design or Dreamweaver functionality. It's a massive subject, but one that can be fascinating. Your age should be no impediment. Many of the most active people providing help in the main Dreamweaver support forum are in their sixties and seventies (including me).

Everytime I start time machine, my computer backs up +/- 250MB, then freezes. Tried it with 3 different external drives, all stop at about the same point (they all work fine on other macs). Any suggestions?

The drives I have are Seagate 1TB GoFlex portable drives (one has UBS 3.0, the other USB 2.0), and a WesternDigital 1TB passport (USB 3.0). I originally tried to backup with Time Machine using the Seagate USB 3.0, and when that didnt work, Seagate suggested maybe since my operating system is a little older, that I try with a USB 2.0, so they sent me another NEW external hard drive, with the USB 2.0. Had the same issue. Frustrated and convinced that Seagate just sucked, I went and bought the 1TB WesternDigital passport (USB 3.0). Have the exact same issue again. Every drive was new, and formatted for mac. When I started time machine it started to back up my files, but froze after copying give or take 250 MB (usually 252.5MB, to be exact). I went and tried the drive on several other macs, and none of them presented any problems. I also tried dragging individual files, but it still freezes on pretty much anything bigger than +/- 100MB. Disk Utility says that all the drives are fine. Obviously this is a problem with my computer, and not the 3 brand new external drives. I thought about upgrading to OSX 10.6, but don't know if this'll help or not (plus, I'd really prefer to have all the files backed up on a drive before doing that, just in case). I dont know what else to do.. called apple, but I'm not about to pay them $50 to have them MAYBE give me a solution (done that twice now for previous unrelated issues, and each time they just told me to take it to a computer repair place.) Just seeing if anyone out there has a solution before I cave and take it back to the certified computer guys for them to figure it out.. Also, I live in Montana and theres no apple store anywhere close (not suprising), so taking it to an Apple Store is just not an option.
Side note: Seagate tech support is awesome; they tried everything to solve the problem, and they even bent their rules a little to send me a new drive, even though it wasn't a malfunction issue with their drive. Really helpful, friendly people, which is much more than I can say for Apple at this point...

this is what you need to do to exclude everything apart from desktop.
on time machine preferences, click on Options
click plus sign, on the new window, click macintosh HD
do a Control + A then deselect users then click okay
go to options again, plus sign, go to users, control +A then deselect your user account
go to options again, plus sign, go to your user account, control + A, deselect desktop
start the back up.
