Hi,
Maintain cost elements for the down payments (OKEP transaction) and the budget will be checked in regular procedure. You can read more here:

  • Book expenses against Internal Order with reference to PO which is created against Cost Center.

    Dear Users,
We have an issue, we created PO against Cost Center and now we want to book its expenses(MIR7) against internal order. So if possible suggest me any solution for this.
    Thanks,
    Manoj.

    Hi
The only other way is to post a manual JV for such a PO where in you debit the expense account with reference to IO and credit the cost center with expense account. Now do the GRN against the PO with reference to Cost Center.
If you cannot modify the PO, unfortunately, this can be the only way out.

  • Issues against Internal Order- AUC

    Dear Gurus,
My client require the following when the goods issued against Internal Order(AUC) (MB1A, Movement Type: 261)
The system has to post following entry
    Consumption a/c Dr
To Assets Under Construction a/c Cr
How can we do that please help me.

    Sreenivas.P

    Hi
Why does the client wants to credit AUC a/c. It should normally be Inventory account.
Normal scenario is that the costs gets debited to IO and on settling the IO it sits in the AUC asset. Then the AUC settlement is carried out thru AIAB & AIBU to real asset
    Thank You,

  • Purchase order against internal order

We would like to restrict the G/L account used while creating a purchase order (account assignment F) against a particular type of internal order. In the sense, we do not want the users to include materials (with valuation class pointing to a different G/L account) to this type of internal order while creating PR or PO with F. Can something be done to the internal order on the CO side or how can this be customized in PR/PO?
    Thanks
    Aparna

in OME9 create a copy of AA category F; say y
in that give account modification ZBR
in the same screen make Order display
in OBYC GBB ZBR valuation class give the desired GL
when AA categoy Y is selected this GL will default and it cannot be changed
there should be user descipline to choose the correct account assignment category in PR PO for this to work

  • PR against internal order

    Hi!
One PO is made against against a PR ref internal order can we mention asset number on that PO ?
    Thanks and regards,
    Suranjana

    Hi,
You should have the process like below if you want to include the Asset, Internal order, PR , PO.
    1) Create a Internal order
    2) Create a Asset based on the Internal order
    3) Create the PR with Asset as account assigned category & mention the Asset number in the PR.
    4) Create the PO with ref to PR as the same asset will copy to PO.

    Hi Dear,
In your case please check the following points:
    1. Check if the Internal Order is released.
    2. Check if the PO created is in refrence with the PR(Generated Automatically Via Internal Order).
    3. Check back if the Internal Order is not Technically Completed, If TECO done then Please remove the TECO.

  • PO against internal order....

I am creating a PO with account asignment category F (Internal Order).
but at that time, system is asking currency.
I am unable to understand that, why it's happened while vendor currency is already maintained in the vendor master record.
Could anybody suggest me, where the loop hole ?

Actualy I m not using material. I observed that :-
    1. When I put Net price and press the enter, system ask the currency.
2.But when I press the Enter before putting netprice, currency come automatically.
So Is it  a standard  behavior ?

  • Control downpayment against Purchase order

    Hi all,
After so long time i came to forum.
Prevoiusly i did not respond proper way to the forum friens.
For this i am extremly sorry...
Now i am getting a problem on downpayment.
Actulayy My PO Value RS 150000
Against PO my down payment should not exseeds the PO amount.
In this case how can i controal my down payment.
Please give me some sugation on this issue.
    Regards,
    Bramha

    Dear dudekula,
Frist make sure that purchase order is mandatory for making down payment. You can set this via screen layout or feild varient.
You can make sure that is compulsory via
Financial Accounting (New)->Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable->Business Transactions->Make and Check Document Settings-->Define Field Status Variants.
system by defualt gives a massge for exceeding the down payment than PO value.
You have to convert that information massage in error massage via T-Code.OBA5
Now system will stop agianst exceeding PO value for down payment.
    Regards

  • Can cash advance check against internal order budget?

I thought only cost elements can check against budget or statistical asset elements. But for AP balance sheet (cash advance via special GL), is that even possible?
    Please advise.
    Thanks in advance.

No Padmaja, Down payments made can be checked against budget using PS module
you specify a cost element in IMG to be used in the case of down payments and this is used to update PS module

  • Variance Post against in internal orders...

Hi Experts kindly suggest me on the following requirement
1.Firstly  informing Variance GL account had been created as a cost element
2.When We making the MIRO against CAPEX Purchase Orders if any variances will come system will post these variances against interna orders
through  OKB9 Default account assignment  settings, why because at the month end these variances(-/+) will be settled to respective assets for
      making capitalisation
3.When making POs for some materials users have been giving the Account assignment categry 'Q" and WBS Elements in Accounts assignment tab,
means materials procuring against project stock then converting into normal stock by using movement type 411(Q)
in this case if any variances will come at the time of MIRO system is not posting aginst internal orders as explained in point 2, for this reason the user
will find those variances and the make the manual JV at the month end.
4.Project System is fully not implimented  and using for only creating WBS Elements to identify the departments
My requirement is how to post these variances as per point 3 against internal orders by default
NOTE: I tried WBS Element has created as statistical one , but system still not picking the internal order by default even though i made setting in OKB9
    for the variance GL Account

  • Interest calculation on Capital expenditure Internal Order

    Hello,
We have an requirement that if capital internal Order is more that $ 250,000 and project runs more than 90 days, then interest should calculate on balance amount. I know that SAP does calculate interest on PS system. But I am quite doubt on capital internal order which ultimately settle to AUC. Is there any way to calculate interest against internal order in SAP? Your guidance will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Nabin

Yes it works the same as PS.  Once you create the Interest profile you can assign it to a model Internal Order on the Period End Closing Tab.  For existing Internal Orders you can assign it to the order on the Period End Closing Tab. The Interest Profile field must not be suppressed. The Field selection is in the Order Type if it not turned on
Creating a model Order is SPRO / Controlling / Internal Orders / Order Master Data / Screen Layout / Define Model Orders
Changing the fileld selection on IO is SPRO / Controlling / Internal Orders / Order Master Data / Screen Layout / Select Fields look at the bottom left corner.

  • PO, PR creation authorisation restriction based on Internal Order

    Dear Forum
We have created a new Interla order type and want that only selective users can make a PO or PR in the Internal orders of that Intenal order type. Is there any way by which we can restrict creation of a PO or PR against an Internal Order, on the basis of Internal order number or internal order type
    regards
    Parag Bhargava

    Hi,
look for an user exit (within enhancement project MEREQ001) when saving a PR / PO where you check SAP-user (maybe from a Z- table) against internal order type.

  • Internal orders to WBS Element

    Hi,
I,m working in a Project System implementation project, where all other modules are already in use.As per the existing process, Internal orders are created for asset accounting. Those are of statistical. All the purchase orders & costs are booked referring to the internal orders, the same cost is directly settled to Asset Under Construction or Asset. As the internal orders are created as statistical, there is no seperate settlement process & all the costs are directly settled either in AUC or in Asset as & when they are incurred(posted).
Now as we are implementing Project Systems, Internal orders are going to be replaced by WBS Elements. Customer requirement is the same process of online settlement of costs to Assets from WBS Element & he doen't want to settle seperately.
Now the issue is, 1) how the process can be mapped in SAP?
I feel creating the WBS elements as statistical, the same process can be mapped. Is it possible/
    2) As one project is already in progress & some postings have been taken place against internal orders, customer wants to see all those postings on new WBS element, now how to migrate the same to respective WBS element in the new system?
    Thanks
    Kishore

    Hi Kishore Ji,
For your question, simple answer is, you want to continue all AUC under Project Systems.  So far, you have considered statistical internal orders, anyway, which is not possible for you to settle directly.  So, please take that amount generate uploading document by using same account and using WBS element as debit and internal order as credit and status you release for internal orders.
WBS elements you create as statistical without selecting account assignment category.
    Your problem will be solved.
    Assign points without fail.
    ALL THE BEST.

  • Internal Order Down Payment settle to Asset

    Hi,
I have a requirement related to Down Payment shows in Order. User want that if there is any down payment against purchase order & purchase order contain real order, they want that FBL1N/FAGLL03 report show Order Number in reports. So that down payment can be traced against Internal Order.
Now I have tested the whole scenario. everything is ok till down payment. I can seen Order number in FBL1N report and also in FAGLL03 report.
    Now the problem is here,
Real Internal Order is created which will be settle to AUC asset.
Purchase order is made with Assignment category 'F' . Real Internal Order is mention with GL.
Now Down Payment is made against Purchase Order with mention Purchase Order. I can see in FBL1N report.
Now when i am going to settle Internal Order to asset, there are errors which are rectified by configuring. But when i see AUC asset, down payment is also settle on asset.
If Purchase Order is raised with amount 1500000.
Down Payment is made with  amount 50000
when i settle Internal Order 1500000 & 50000 also settle on Asset.
I dont want to settle 50000 on asset and when i see KOB1 report, i only see 1500000 amount.
Or is there any report in which i can extract Order with down payment data. I can develop Z report but i want to do it in standard.
    Waiting for reply....
    Regards
    AJ

    For Down payment data,
you need to use FBL1N transaction.
probably, down payment will not reflect in internal order. Expense GL with Internal order will reflect in the internal order actual values.
