  • Customer Downpayments and its reporting?

    Hello All,
What is the procedure of capturing customer downpayment in PS ? How do we report it through standard PS?
As per my understanding, we can assign milestone for downpayment under an activity in PS. Copy this milestone in billing plan.Once the activity is confirmed the milestone will be triggered and billing block will be removed and invoice will be generated.
    How do we track this?
    Thanks
    Sarang

from the config perspective the only thing is that you have to ensure the milestone date categ etc must generate sales doc type FMZ something in std SAP I do not have the system with me so . . .
from a functional perspective yes it is how you have described only that the downpayment % will be in addition to the total of revenues by other milestones (which should be 100%) so if you trigger the milestone billing plan you will end with more than 100%  - the excess is down payment which has to be returned from subsequent billing

  • Query Report:To Retrieve Data from A/R Invoice and A/P Invoice

    Hii Experts,
I am a new Sap B1 Trainee.I am facing a problem when retrieving data from A/R Invoice and A/P Invoice in order to track
Expenditure and Revenue according to a Bussiness partner,
I am using union to retrieve the information, but it is saying a error that  Error Converting Varchar to Numeric and also
i would like to know how can i show the total final payment by reflecting Downpayments in A/R Invoice and A/P Invoice
    With Regards
    Cherry.

    Hii.
My Sap B1 version is 8.8.1 and patch level is 20. Actully i need a scenario where i can able to show both Expenditure and Revenue of a particular bussiness partner and profit/loss in a single query report.
I need some tips regarding this,When i am doing union i am getting conversion error converting varchar to numeric when i take
Sum(Line Total) from OINV and Sum(line total) OPCH group by docdate and docentry and BP .
and another scenario is how to deduct A/P downpayment or A/R downpayment from A/P invoices and A/R invoice to get the final Revenue and Expenditure ..
    Thanks & Regards

  • Crystal Report layout, best practice

    SAP B1 8.81
I'm having only spotty success with CR layouts and I've experimented quite a bit. What I'd like to do is extensively modify 1 system Crystal Report and then bring it in as a layout, and apply it to AR Item Quote, Order, DN, Invoice, and Return. Does it matter which system document I start with? After I've got a master layout that works for all, what if I need to add small tweaks to a particular document, say a special field that appears in Invoice headers only? How do I do that? These questions aren't addressed in the 'How to Work with CR in SBO' guide.
Anybody have some global guidelines they'd like to offer that lead to success?

    Hi Cindy
We have done what you want to do in 8.8 a number of times.  It also works in 8.81 but we have been having similar login issues that other users have reported.
You use the ObjectId@ parameter to determine the type of object being printed and use that to suppress fields, sections etc.
Where there are specific formats required for different object types you can define multiple sections, (eg page headers, group headers, detail lines etc) and show or suppress based on the object type as required.
This can lead to very messy and complicated reports if there are a lot of differences and so you will need to make a decision as to the tradeoffs between having one huge report which is hard to maintain or a couple of simpler ones.
Given the load time issues, which seem to be related to the number of subreports etc you might also find some benefit in, for example, having a separate master layout for the documents that dont need to show batches and serial numbers and some of the final details such as downpayments and another layout for documents that need to show everything.  Once again, you need to trade off here.
We have generally started with the invoice layout as our master since that has everything in it.
    Hope this helps

  • Report S_ALR_87013536: display actual/downpayements

    Hello All,
I have an issue where downpayments made against the PO does not reflect in the report S_ALR_87013536.
PO is been created with the WBS as referance.
when i check in the PO , i could find the downpayments values.
My question is , to get this downpayment values in the above report is it neceaasry that while making a downpayment against a PO , one has to mention the  WBS as the referance?
if no...are there any way i can make these values displayed in the above report
    Please let me know.
    Thanks and regards
    Sandeep.

    Hello AP,

  • Foreign Trade / Intrastat - data order-related billing (downpayments)

    Hi,
Shortly we have implemented the down payment functionality in our flows. Because downpayments require order-related billing the intrastat/foreign trade data is not copied into the closing invoice.
Apparently it is only possible to copy the data from a delivery.
We are in a make-to-order environment and we still create deliveries but because of the down payments, the invoice is created from the sales order and hence no intrastat data is copied which ofcourse is required ...
Can't find a suitable user exit for filling this data into the billing document. Also tried using copy data transfer (vofm) filling up tables eikp and eipo but that didn't work.
The only option open for me at the moment is creating a proforma invoice automatically from the delivery. This document can then be included in the intrastat reporting.
    Is there another solution ?
    with regards

    Hi,
in the copy control between order and invoice you need to set the 'determine export data' to 'B' so that it will be redetermined in the invoice. After that the relevant foreign trade userexits will work as well.

  • Standard Report for Down Payment Requests of Milestone Billing

    Hi Experts,
Is there any Standard SAP Report for Downpayment Requests of Milestone Billing. Where I can view all the downpayment requests for the customers in Milestone Billing Scenario.
I have searched but I'm getting report for Vendors downpayment requests in transaction code FBL1N.
Kindly help to get me this report.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Avinash

    Hello,
you can use transaction VF04 to get the list of the downpayment requests to be made, and VF05N for the list of downpayment requests already made (using the proper SD invoice document as selection criteria): this is from an SD point of view.
From an FI point of view transaction FBL5N could help you. Also F-29, as already mentioned, since it provides the list of downpayments to be cleared for a customer.
    Best regards,
    Andrea

  • Down-payment reports

    Dear Experts,
while making down-payments, we do mention Purchase Document number in field "Purchase Document number" in F-48.
in the PO history i do find Down-payment made "DP".
which report will display Open Purchase Documents with downpayments against it.
i have searched for field in Open PO report ME2N, but could not find any.
    please help.

    Hi,

  • Downpayments from customers - invoices

    Hello
Now we are booking downpayments through FI (f-29) - based on bank report and f-32 (consilidating with SD invoice)
We are setting branch office in new country, which has slitly different legislation regarding downpayments. For each downpayment which was payed by costumer and goods weren't delivered (not in stock etc) in the same month we must issue downpayment invoice.
    IN steps:
    1. create sales order
    2. create proforma invoice (which is send to costumer)
    3. costumer pays, payment is booked in FI
    4. Goods aren't delivered in the same month and we must issue an downpayment invoice (which must have relation to FI downpayment document (for inernal use) and reference to proforma invoice).
    5. In the next month we deliver goods and issue invoice, which must have also noted when (date) and by which downpayment invoice goods were payed.
So without any dp requests or billing plans.
Is it possible to achieve that?
    Regards

    Hi Vijay,
    yes, it is.
Actually, I found that it must be a company-code-specific thing.
    S/L indicators: o.K.
    billing doc. type: o.K.
    accounts: o.K.
Company code A: o.K., down payment item created in FI
Company code B: not o.K., normal invoice posting created in FI
Within company code A and B the Settings concerning SD-condition types are the same
...and without the ones mentioned by SAP.
I assume there is a localization in place for A and not for B.
I created the down payment request within SD and then switched to debug mode.
Between "creation of the SD down payment request" "post document" there must be a
step where "SAP distinguishes between A and B".
    Hope it helps

  • Replace downpayment from SD reporting with GL Indicator

We have created a query for Billing report for SD(Gross Margin). We have excluded the downpayment hoping it will exclude. Downpayments are not revenue. My question is how we can bring in GL indicator and eliminate all records that have an entry of 'F' or 'A'?
    Thank you,
    Amit

    Hi Simon,
We are using a Billing Cube(ZIP_Bill) but there is no GL Indicator. The only Indicator we have are 0Bill_type, 0Itm_TYPE, 0STORNO, Z_FUNTYPE, 0DOC_CATEG, 0AB_FKSTO. The same for DSO no Special GL Indicator. Is there any other way we can do especialy on ECC R/3 side if it is not possible on BI.
    Thank You,
    Amit

  • Open and cancelled Quote Report

    Hi,
Can anyone give me the information  for getting open and cancelled Quote Report?

I hope you are using reason for rejection for cancelling quotations. If that is the case, you can use transaction VA25 to view the list of quotations. Here you can filter on two columns status and reason for rejection to view the report as per your requirement.

    GSL.

  • XML Quote report

We have a problem with our XML Quote report that cuts off the report at 26 pages when it should go to about 200 pages.
We have another report the Acknowledge Quote and it works fine.

Finally we found the solution for this problem.
    1. Open qotSCocPrint.jsp and add below line inside <SELECT id="qotOutFrmt" name="qotOutFrmt"> statement. This line should be added after "for" loop.
    <OPTION value="EXCEL">Excel Format</option>
We can add as many options the XML Publisher supports.
    2. Decompile oracle.apps.aso.print.webui.MainCO.class (Controller).
    Change the below line
    httpservletresponse.setContentType("application/pdf");
    to
    httpservletresponse.setContentType("application/"+quoteOutputFormat.toLowerCase());
Take a backup of the original file, compile the java in the same directory.
    3. Decompile oracle.apps.aso.print.server.PrintQuoteAMImpl.class and change this line
    Field field = class2.getDeclaredField("OUTPUT_TYPE_PDF");
    to
    String outputFormat="OUTPUT_TYPE"+as[12].trim();
    Field field = class2.getDeclaredField(outputFormat);
Bounce Apache and generate the Quote output in desired format.
