Downtime Management - Present Up/Downtimes in Calendar

All,
When I check the downtime mangement on my SolMan 7.01 system, I see nothing appearing in the calendar.
Is there some extra configuration needed for that or is it just not possible?
Objective is to visualize the up- and downtimes to report to the customer.

Managing presentation layer formats

Hi, I'm just curious how people are managing presentation layer formats when using large, complex RPDs. For instance "Year" in our date dimension needs to be formatted to not display the comma, so it shows as "2012" not "2,012". However, this date dimension is used in TONS of presentation subject areas (we use EPM campus solutions), so I have to go in to each and every one to format the year. Is there a better way to do this?
Sure wish there was a way to specify this in the business layer of the RPD....

1) Did someone changed default behavior if we normally pull year column in OOTB it wont give you ',' in results tab
2) how about duplicating same column in rpd and cast ( col as int) and use it in calculation and pull the calculated measure to presentation layer ?

Manage presentation catalog and permission

Hi all,
I need help: in Oracle BI I can't use permission in 'Manage Presentation Catalog Groups and Users'.
This is because I create a new dashboard (on Explorer) and a new group and user(in rpd file).
Then I try to relate this things but it's wrong..
And now in 'Manage Presentation Catalog Groups and Users' I coundn't add users to groups.
Which is the file where Oracle BI save the permission?

It's the same in ‘Manage Presentation Catalog’ and ‘Manage Interactive Dashboard’: I couldn't modify the permission to report/dashboard..

Elearning Suite -- Application Manager -- Presenter missing

I am using the application manager tool provided by Adobe to create an Enterprise deployment for eLearning 2.0. During the wizard, it asks you which applications you want to include in your installation and I include everything (this includes presenter).
This leaves us with 2 source folders: The payloads folder and the exceptions folder.
The payloads folder contains all of the applications that will be handled in the MSI that is built by the application manager, the exceptions folder contains all of the "other" installations that you can handle with cmd line.
Everything works great, except, Presenter does not install. It is completely missing. There is nothing in the logfile that shows any error or failure (all return code 1, which in Adobe lingidy means AOK). The only descrepency that I have been able to observe so far is that the source files = 5gb in size when I extract the source from the cd. After I point the application manager to the source and run the wizard, it extracts 3.5gb in source. I understand there maybe a few extraoneous items in source that may account for additional languages and whatnot, but cutting out 1.5gb seems to be an aweful lot.
Should I be using application manager with the eLearning suite?
Does eLearning 2.0 fall under the CS5 umbrella of suites?
Can anyone provide me with things I could be looking at to help troubleshoot this issue, or provide a solution?

I will try to answer some questions that may arise:
-- Presenter does not appear in the exeptions folder, add/remove programs, in c:\Program Files
-- I attempted to run the application manager with only Presenter selected, it still does not install
-- I attempted to run application manager with everything but Presenter selected, it still does not show in the exeptions folder
-- I opened the MSI that was built by application manager to see if presenter existed in the table, it does not, nor does any other application that would get installed in the suite

Which version of MS Office do you use? If it is 2010, Presenter is not compatible with that version. And Presenter is not a standalone app, it installs as a plugin on Powerpoint. Did you check PPT?

Setting Presentation Variable with a Calendar Control

I have a situation where I need to create a dashboard prompt on a Date field that allows the user to select a start and end date. Part of this requirement also requires that I capture those two values in two presentation variables - but I can't seem to figure out how to set a presentation variable in a dashboard prompt while still using the Calendar control for the date selection.
I can't use a drop down list or anything else besides the Calendar pop up - Does anyone know how to go about setting a presentation variable while still allowing the end user to select dates via the Calendar control pop up?

New Desktop Manager is Synching All My Calendars .. please make it stop

I am self employed. I have a lot of personal reminders on my handheld deviice and up until this current desktop manager version, I was able to only sync my default calendar which was my business one.
Now, with this new version, it seems to be synching, BBM, facebook, all 4 of my organizers and has made a congested mess of everything.
Is there a way to only sync one organizer, that is my DEFAULT organizer with outlook 7 using the new destop software?
I really appreciate any assistance provided.

The BlackBerry® Desktop Software synchronizing all calendars on the BlackBerry® smartphone and not the default calendar only is by design in BlackBerry® 7 and cannot be modified. Device Manager not Syncing with Outlook Calendar

My calendar stopped syncing after I deleted my account at Blackberry Internet Service web site (because IT changed the server name).
Now.....my calendar does not sync with Outlook.
I uninstalled my previous version of desktopmanager & just downloaded Desktopmanger 5.0.1 for Vista w/ Outlook 2007. My memopad is syncing fine, but not my calendar.
I tried "clearing the device database calendar" and I made sure that wireless sync is OFF. I tried a one way sync from Outlook to my device.
Nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?

Password Manager presents dialog for existing logins but does not fill them

I'm experiencing problems with PasswordManager 2.1.0 on a T60p with Vista Business. It often doesn't autofill logins I previously set up, which are Outlook 2007 and a few websites. It presents the Yes/No/Never dialog to set them up again and again, even though they're already set up. If I choose yes and try to set a login up again I'm warned it's a duplicate. If I choose never it doesn't stop the dialog next time.
Any tips?

No luck. I tried both "Keychain First Aid" and then removing the .plist for Keychain, but no luck.
I did find something interesting yesterday. I was playing around with the developer menu from Safari, and in the User Agent menu, I selected "Internet Explorer 7". Well, for one site (not all) where the passwords were not stored, they were now!
My guess from this is that Safari has changed the rules where it identifies a form as being a "password form". I've seen this on many of my sites using much JQuery or SPRY for form validation: with SPRY attached to password form fields, Safari rarely (if not ever) prompts to store the password info, but if I remove the SPRY validation from the fields, Safari will save the username/password fields.
Conclusion: no luck yet, same issue.

How can i better manage and sync contacts and calendars between iPhone, iMac, Macbook air and iPad?

Hello I love MAC products and own quite a few but am still having a tough time synchronizing everything "under the same common roof" despite using "icloud". Does anyone have 4 duplicates for the same contact on an 1000 contact database (with Group contacts, MAC contacts, Icloud contacts etc...) what a headache!Thanks for any suggestions.

Simply on the iPhone in the iCloud preferences turn off the contacts sync. It will ask if u wanna delete or not the contacts on the iphone. You answer to leave the Contacts on iphone. After that proceed to delete all contacts from all u're other devices and the iCloud site. A way to do it fast is to deselect the contact sync on icloud options in every device and when asked tell to delete the contacts from device. When u're sure that all other devices contacts are clean turn again on the contacts sync on the iCloud preferences for each device and at last the iPhone. After few the iPhone contacts will be sync to other device so u'll have same Contacts on all device. In this way when u'll made a change on one of u're device all other will have same change.

My OS X Server (Yosemite) error log is throwing this error:

...when I attempt to add more than 50 lists in the Reminders app. I had a similar issue in Mavericks. Is this "50" number available to modify in a config file somewhere?
My plan is to manage GTD-type projects in my Reminders apps (on iOS and OS X), but this limit is keeping me from creating a list for EVERY project I have.

Woohoo! I set the integer to "500" and I now have over 200 lists added, and syncing, to my Reminders app and related tools.
Here's exactly what I did after reading the response from Linc Davis:
Stop the Calendar service
Create /Library/Server/Calendar and Contacts/Config/caldav-user.plist
Edit contents of "caldav-user.plist", setting your desired integer value:

Note that a file created in a place other than ~/ may have permissioning issues. To get around this, I made a copy of /Library/Server/Calendar and Contacts/caldavd-system.plist, then renamed and edited that file with nano in terminal.

Issue with Calendar prompt presentation variable

Requirement: (OBIEE 11g)
A dashboard should have two prompts - one calendar prompt and one text field prompt giving number of days. There is a timestamp column (SHIP DATE) in the analysis. There should be a between limit in this timestamp field. Logic to be implemented is - Calendar Prompt DateTime <= SHIP DATE < (Calendar Prompt DateTime + No. of days from text field).
Solution Tried:-
Using the dashboard prompt, two prompts and two corresponding presentation variables were created. First presentation variable is for calendar prompt timestamp (Date1) and other one is for no. of days (Num_Days) text field prompt.
Then in the analysis, two filters were created on the Ship Date. First filter is set as 'Is Prompted' and it takes the values '<=' from calendar prompt in dashboard.
For the other filter, I converted it to SQL and wrote the following:-
"Time"."Ship date" <= (timestamp '@{variables.Date1}['YYYY-mm-DD HH:MM:SS']{2013-01-01 00:00:00}') + @{variables.Num_Days}{30}
The analysis runs fine for the above filters, but when run from the dashboard, it throws up an error.
Error getting drill information: SELECT "Time"."SHIP DATE" saw_0, "Base Facts"."QUANTITY" saw_1 FROM "SHIPPING DATA" WHERE ("Time"."SHIP DATE" <= (timestamp '''2013-00-01 00:10:SS''') + 30) AND ("Time"."SHIP DATE" >= timestamp '2013-10-01 00:00:00').
From the above it seems that error is coming because I am unable to set properly the calendar prompt presentation variable in a format which can be read by the analysis. Since analysis is running fine from the default value of Date1, I was thinking of somehow converting the calendar prompt presentation variable in the similar prompt.
Any pointers to the correct approach?

I found a workaround to my above issue for now but I would like to know the proper approach from experienced folks.
My workaround is as follows:-
I created an additional column in the analysis -> TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_DAY,- @{variables.Num_Days}{30}, "Time"."Ship date"). Then I applied a filter on this new field. The filter is set as < variable expression Date1 (coming from presentation variable). Since I am not converting this filter to SQL, OBIEE server seems to be taking care of timestamp format conversion.
I think I need to study the logs and the config XMLs to see how date format is being stored to get a better solution.

A better project management calendar

I prefer iCal to Entourage but like how I can manage project in Entourage.
I'd like to manage a project with multiple calendar dates and its own to-do list so when I open iCal, I can just click on the project and see all associated files, upcoming dates and tasks.
Does anybody know if there are plugins that will allow me to do this? Or an app for Google calendar that will do this?

You could use variables held in the LMS to do what you want, but you'd most likely have to disconnect Captivate from SCORM and make the calls yourself so Captivate couldn't overwrite your settings.
You'd need some kind of database to accurately keep track of what you want to do. There are some really good tutorials for Dreamweaver on how to set up and communicate with a DB using php.

Team Calendar for non-manager in Leave Request

It seems like only Manager can see the Team Calendar in Leave Request or others ? Can a non Manager also see the Team Calendar , so he can see who is in the office and who is out .

the root objects. This evaluation path determines root objects whose

1. The DC pcui_gp/tecl had to be deployed to J2EE engine.
2. Note 704604 has to be implemented.
3. The Org.Unit conif has to be correct for the employee
4. View group has to be maintained in V_TWPC_VG.
5. Leave req. application has to work
