DP BOM CVC Generation from other PLOB

Hello All,
I am trying to generate CVCs in a DP BOM planning object structure (APO 4.1) based on the CVCs that exist in another planning object structure. The non-DP bom relevent characteristics are identical in both plobs.
Source PLOB (no DP BOM) Char: Z_PRODUCT, Z_SUB_BR1, Z_VENDOR
Source PLOB (DP BOM) Char: Z_PRODUCT, Z_SUB_BR1, Z_VENDOR, 9ABOMID, 9ABOMIO, 9APPMNAME
When I try to generate via MC62 (option generate immediately or option generate in background) I receive message /SAPAPO/TSM079, "Planning object structure Z_VS_FG (source plob)does not have the required structure". When I try to generate via MC62 (option Load to Worklist) I am able to see the source CVCs in the worklist and generate them. We need the ability to use the generate these CVCs via a background job in a process chain.
I checked OSS and note 972129 talks about this message when using a BADI, and when I use the option "Switch on Implemented BADI", I am able to generate, but the note says, "Note that you should now set the indicator for activating implemented BAdIs only if there are actually BAdIs activated for this function that should be run. Ignoring message /SAPAPO/TSM 079 may cause serious inconsistencies if you do not fill the missing characteristic values correctly using a BAdI."
Has anybody seen this before, and if so, is it OK to use the BADI option even though a BADI is not being used?

...but other than the DP-BOM specific characteristics, these POS are identical...why should I need to utilize a user exit to map them?
Also, checking on the "Switch on Implemented BADI" checkbox without using a BADI has allowed me to bypass the error message and the CVC does get created. I have yet to see any ill effects so far from this, and so was wondering if someone had done this before

Operations & Components can be defined only in task list, not in Maintenance Plan. While defining components in task list, you have no option to select the Item category.
So, define BoM for the Equipment with appropriate Item category, select those materials in task list, so that you can get the PR for components from Maintenance Order.
Instead, you can define the components directly in PM Order as well.

Process chains: error when including CVC generation process type

hello all !
I have a Pc that loads data from custom extractor into a Icube.
next triggers Generate Characteristic combination which never executes. Status remains active but no "completed succesfully" (yellow triangle) in monitor of pc.
When I run it alone the CVC generation process types executes OK...??!!!
My sequence is Delete Index from cube ---> Load IP --> Atribute change run ---> Create Index --> Delete overlapping request (up to hear loads oK although status never becomes green '??)
final step is a CVC generation + adjust time series process type.
Does any of you know why the error ? and how to help solving it out ?

I guess you can directly go to RSA1->Source Systems.Rt click and Transfer Global Settings then Delete the Red Request and Go to the Particular Process chain and do a Repeat/Repair.
You can try repairing it...

I do not care about having to erase everything since it's new and there's nothing on it, but it was never synced with iTunes.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Go to iTunea>Preferences>Devices and see if there is a backupright at the time you did the update. Then try restoring from that backup. If the apps are in your iTunes library, any app data will be restored to the iPod.
When restoring from an iOS 4 (or later) backup, if the device had a passcode set, iTunes will ask if you want to set a passcode (and remind you that you had protected your device with a passcode). iTunes will not ask you to set a passcode when restoring from iOS 3.x and prior backups.
Therefore, remembe the passcode that you enter this time.
It appears that if you restore from a backup, that backup is not subseqyently overwritten by the next backup.

Are you trying to send a message to a cell number or an email address? iPad does MMS, not SMS, meaning it can't send a message to a number. It can send a message to an email address........

may i know with what condition we can get the latest and valid BOM item entry from STPO table?
i have STLNR and IDNRK as a input. But i realized that it would return multiple entry due to the combination of valid-from and valid till date.
can i use stlnr,idnrk and stpoz (with the latet counter) to get the latest and valid BOM entry?

Business Component generation from designer fails

I have data model and application modules in Designer 9i. Using JDeveloper 10g and JHEADSTART for application development.
I am importing this designer meta-data into JDEVELOPER. Defined a database connection for repository user as well as the database schema having required tables. I created a project and then started Business Components Generation from Oracle Designer to import a form module. A Wizard pops-up. Specified the required repository and database connection. It starts the import process but terminates saying 'oracle.jmig.source.ExtractorException: Caught SQL exception:ORA-00942: table or view does not exist'.
It does not specify which view/table is missing.
Can somebody tell, the reason for this error or where can I find the error log to get more details. I believe it is not because of any application table. I created a module without any table, still it gives this error.

Yes, this is a known issue. We will fix this for the next release.
Having said that, the next release will contain the JHeadstart Forms2ADF generator which directly reads Oracle Forms .fmb files to ADF, without the need to use Oracle Designer, avoiding problems like this alltogether.

i got one Functional spec on pp module. this FS main object is calculate the daily smelter performance.
Based on this FS I will make a report on POWER GENERATION FROM EACH PLANT AND SHIFT WISE.
so please can anyone of you advice to me , is there any standard extractors and standard cubes or ods are there for make this report.

Filling dynamic internal table with data from other internal table

My problem is that i have already built a dynamic internal table
(class int_table->create) but now i want to fill it with data from other internal table.
The dynamic table column name and the field value of the data filled internal table are same, but how to access that column name, since i cant hard code it anyway.
Like if my werks field value is '8001'. I want to place it under the column 8001 of dynamic table, Can anybody help me in this regard?

I was wondering if LiveCycle is able to generate a dynamic HTML page from a dynamic XDP/PDF form in LiveCycle ES ?
I have read up on the help contents regarding HTML generation from PDF forms but its not mentioned anywhere whether LiveCycle supports the creation of an HTML page that mimics the dynamic behavior of a dynamic PDF/XDP form.

Looking for a procedure to switch an iPod 2nd generation from Win. to Mac

Hello,
I'm looking for a procedure to switch/migrate an iPod 2nd generation from a Windows computer to a Mac running Snow Leopard.
When the iPod was first connected to the Mac its content was imported fine. However, ever since when the iPod is connected to the Mac it will appear in the Finder as a "drive" but doesn't appear anymore in iTunes.
I couldn't find any document in Apple's support web site about how to properly handle that type of migration.
I would appreciate if somebody could point me to a documented procedure on how to resolve this, or provide any other type of suggestion.

restore and update iPod to version 1.5
I put iPod in manual mode (no syncro), start up in 10.5.8 iTunes 9.0.3 and Works !!!!!!
where is the problem? iPod version 1.2.1 ? iTunes 9.0.3?
upgrading iPod in windows to 1.5, is the same solution?

Hi gurus,
we are implementing project module with the financial.
We need to customise the Project Supplier Invoice Account Generation.
We are preferring the Sub Ledger Accounting generation rule in place of the workflow method(where we need to customize the default workflow for account generation from AP to PA).
We have done the setup for the SLA to generate accounting (from AP invoices TO pa). But still we are getting the same error("the system cannot generate distributions for line 1 because payable account function Project supplier invoice charge account has not been customized. please replace the dummy function in default account generation process"
Please help me.. to solve the problem..
As Its a very urgent customization on the verge of going live..

Customizing the Payables and Purchasing Account Generator for project related documents is mandatory. The accounting rules in SLA is optional.
Since you said you are pleased with the set up of the accounting rules by SLA, you might set up a very simplistic account generator rule, so it will generate a constant account. SLA will later on override the constant by the real rules.
