DPC Latency very high in Games sound and game freezes

5DPC Latency very high in Games sound and game freezes?hello, i am new her. I am german, sry for my Bad englisch. i do my best that you unterstand me...
my problem is very well known in the internet, but i did not find a solution until now...
My Computer:
E6300 @ 3 ghz
Mainboard: Abit Fatalty FP-IN9 with nForce650i-SLI Chipset
4 Gig DDR2 Ram
Win 7 64bit
Soundblaster is a X-fi Titanium PCIe
when i am in windows, look a film on youtube or on my harddisk the DPC Latency is always " green " and i have no freezes in sound or computer
But when i start a Computergame like Starcraft the freezes come, and also the DPC Latency goes red.

I thought the problem is the old Daniel_K 2.0 support pack driver which i installed 6 month ago. I formated my computer todey.
Installed Windows, installed Ati display driver, than installed orginal Creative driver : 2.7.0008 (26. Juli 200). And then i started Starcraft 2 direct but i did not help. Because of that i think i must be a hardware problem...
cya

the Wlan-card was it. How can i solve the problem that i can use my wlan without this freeze problems ?

  • My key sound and game sound is not working I did everything

My key sounds game sound not working YouTube music working fine pls help

If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.
This support article from Apple explains how the side switch works.

  • Hi, I bought a new Mac Book Pro, very high spec, installed Lion and now the machine is slow, glitchy. how do i wipe it and put Leopard back on it? any help would be great..?

    Hi,
I bought a new Mac Book Pro a couple of months ago the new model, very high spec, i7 processor, 500g solid state drive, 8 gig of ram. all in all a very fast machine. however, i foolishly downloaded OS X Lion and as soon as i did i noticed a considerable difference in the machine basically its ground to a halt, its now slow glitchy programs shut down and crash. I'm new to Mac and in reminded of life in the world of Windows....! any suggestions should i wipe Lion off the machine and re install Leopard? any help would be appreciated..
    Liam

Surely you meant to say that there was nothing in Lion you would prefer over !10.6! - Lion is 10.7.
As for what might be sapping your machines juice - have you run Activity Monitor yet? I always enable 'All Processes' and sort it by %CPU usage if i want to know whats cooking.
In addition to the list Disk Activity might give a hint.
If you are quite low on available disk space it might also be that osx is constantly swapping - best to keep a few GB of free space for it to work with.

  • Choppy sound and game play with Google Chrome.

I'm getting choppy audio and game play with Bejeweled Blitz with google chrome.  I tried all the solutions offered on the "Flash player games, video, audio don't work" site.  None of which helped.
    Any other ideas?
running flash player version - 11.5.31.137
    Chrome version - 24.0.1312.57

Do you notice any difference if you use the system version of Flash Player instead of the built in version included in Chrome?

  • Game Center and games not syncing on iPad

I can not seem to properly communicate with Game Center on my iPad. I seem to be signed in, but after I get to my home screen in Game Center I can't do anything else. When I click on games, my screen goes blank and I get a spinning wheel that never stops. If I try to open a game that needs to sync with Game Center, like Respawnables, the game gets stuck in loading mode. I think this is because it is trying to communicate, in vain, with Game Center. I have restarted my iPad, reloaded the Respawnables app, signed in and out of Game Center, and signed out of Game Center on my phone. I am out of ideas. Any thoughts?
    Thanks.

So what is the feature? How doe the save games update across your devices? Is it something I need to enable? For example I just downloaded and played modern combat 3, played quite a lot on iPad but my iPhone 4 hasn't picked up any of the progress. So I am back at square one on the iPhone.
    Thoughts?

  • MSexchangeAB/nspi rpc requests average latency very high

Exchange 2010 SP2 RU3 mostly with one SP3 RU8 v2 Hub/CAS server.  All client access is being routed to the SP3 RU8 v2 CAS server.  I've noticed that the MSExchangeAB/nspi rpc requests average latency counter grows to extremely high numbers like
14K. When that happens, Outlook clients start to show performance issues and lock ups.  Then I restart the Address Book service on the CAS server, and it is back to normal for a while and then will eventually grow again and do the same thing.
Is there anything I need to look at specifically to see what's going on.  I think this has been going on for quite some time, like a year, but I haven't been able to narrow it down very well until now.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Andrew

In addition to moving processing of incoming Outlook Mailbox connections to the Client Access server, in Exchange 2010, directory access
is also handled by the Client Access server.
when an Outlook client makes a request of the Client Access server, it results in one of two possible actions.
If the user's mailbox is on an Exchange 2010 Mailbox server, then either the request is handled by a Client Access server in the current Active Directory site, or if the user’s mailbox is in
a different Active Directory site, the request is proxied to the destination Active Directory site.
If the user's mailbox is on a legacy Exchange Mailbox server, the directory request is referred to the user's Mailbox server. Legacy Mailbox servers can't communicate directly with Exchange
2010 Client Access servers for directory information.
You might have to check the health and replication across DC's in all sites. seems like there might be a possibility of latency from/to a GC which is being used by Outlook
    for Referral.

  • Envy 14 1095la. High pitched whine sound and fan cycling.

Hi. I'm in contact with the customer service about 2 (and a 3rd maybe related) annoyances I have on my Envy 14 1095la (XC515LA#ABM) notebook. I want to share them here in case someone has some clues and guidance about them.
Fan cycles continously on and off every couple of seconds
... on light usage (using the low performance GPU and a text editor).
Reading the temps using Coretemp and HDinfo, I can hear the fan kicking in when CPU temp is above 35º and turning off when it reverts back to this value.
Enabling the "FAN ALWAYS ON" option on the BIOS (as suggested by the tech guy) has no effect over the problem (yes, the fan remains always on, but you can still hear it cycling RPM constantly).
Since this model has no option to regulate the FAN via software, the only solution seems to be a BIOS upgrade.
Sometimes, I can hear a high pitched sound coming from the computer.
Tech guy suggested me to experiment a bit with this to better understand what can be the problem. I've found so far:
Seems to be far more frequent if the battery is in place (without the battery I heard it only once, and quiet).
Seems to be more louder if the battery is in use.
The sound seems to originate from the Seagate Momentus HD, but It is so high pitched that makes difficult to point the exact origin.
Messing with the sound options (muting mics, audio etc) seems to have no effect.
Sometimes I feel a strong vibration on the palmrest
Perhaps related to the previous, sometimes I can feel a strong vibration on the right palmrest.
Resting the notebook over different surfaces (or lifting it in the air) seems to have no effect.
Reading a bit on this forum I can see that  the Seagate Momentus HD is a strong candidate for the vibration+high pitched sound problem, but again, if anyone has a better idea or an aditional test I can made to be sure, is welcomed.
    Thanks!

Well, notebook is out for repair.
I've in touch with a level 2 support guy that acknowledged that the "fan cycling" thing is odd and will pass a report to the engineer team (hope HP is not lazy because the Envy refresh and new BIOSes).
About the high pitched noice and vibrations, they will check the HD, but since SMART values are alright, I doubt they´ll change it.

Hi i was wondering if anyone could help me out with regards to this high pitched noise- i am assuming its coming from the imac as when i swap that with my laptop in the exact same setup all high pitched noises are gone.

Have you tried a PRAM reset?

  • Sound and video freeze up intermittently on MacBook Pro5,4.

Hi, I have a MacBook Pro5,4 labtop, with a 2.53 GHz processor and 4 Gb RAM. In the last month I have started having problems while watching videos or listening to music on my labtop. It doesn't always do this, but often the sound/video will start freezing intermittently, somewhat like when streaming and your internet connection goes in and out. However, I am still able to do other things on my computer like surfing the internet or opening documents. I am wondering if anyone would know whether this would be something with the graphics or sound cards before I take it in to be fixed. Unfortunately since it doesn't do it all the time, I am afraid that the techs might not find anything wrong with it and the problem won't be fixed....any ideas?

    Hi Glo H,
yes, you are correct on all counts...
The way I work is that I cut & edit the clips and their music in iMovie 06, then "share" it with iDVD, and create a disk image. The preview in iMovie 06 is fine, and there is no sync-ing problem. I then preview the DVD in iDVD, before I create the disk image, and there is not sync-ing problem there either. After this, I insert a blank DVD, open the disk utility, and burn the disk image from there. Viewing that DVD is the first time in the workflow that I'm seeing this problem.
I suspect this is to do with the very large files I'm fiddling around with: a 90-min DVD (from my 30 clips or so) had a progressively worsening sync problem, whereas two 45 minute DVDs had no problem on either DVD. And since I'm recording in HD, the 90 min DVD is easily 60-100 GByte on the hard drive... (and this suggests that I can avoid sync problems by having smaller films, but it still would be nice to figure out what is going on here?)
    Any help would be nice.
    BeateW
PS I'm posting a link to the iDVD folks as well as I think this is a problem with iDVD, no iMovie?....

  • Logical Reads are very high when run as sproc and very less logical reads when run as a script

    Hello
    Have a question,
when i execute a sproc. i get a very high logical reads count and when i run the same sproc converted into script it has very low logical reads what does it mean..

I would like you to check query plan during ad-hoc run versus stored procedure execution. As other pointed out it could be due to parameter sniffing.

  • VLC audio problems on T400 - DPC Latency Issue?

    Hi Folks,
When I try to use VLC player to play any video on my T400, I get audio stutters and other strange effects.  I'm wondering if it might have to do with all the audio DPC Latency issues this model has had.  Does anyone else have these issues?  Windows media player seems to work just fine, by the way.  DPC Latency is high when either program is playing, but remains high when VLC has paused playback (whereas windows media player doesn't induce high DPC Latency when paused).
I've tried tweaking the buffer of VLC player, and a million other things, but nothing seems to help.  Hence my suspicion of DPC Latency issues.
    Thanks,
    Allie
