DPP not showing folders anymore

DPP suddenly stopped showing the folder structure (not related to an update), so it's impossible to select any photos. Zoombrowser for instance is still working fine.
I can show (and edit) a photo when I specifically open it withh DPPViewer.exe, but this is just one photo at a time. Bit of a hassle.
Any idea how to correct this?

You're not using Version 4, are you? If you are, then the folder view is controlled by a tiny arrow about halfway down the left side of the DPP window.

Remote server view not showing folders or files

My customer uses Dw CS3 with XP SP3. Everything worked fine until their ISP changed their web server. After the change remote site view does not show folders or files although uploading to server works fine with Dw. If I try with Filezilla or any other FTP client everything works normaly. I'm no Dw expert just a sys.admin, but I don't know what settings I should try anymore. I tested this with dw cs 4 also and same problem there.
If I check the FTP LOG from dw it shows the file listing correctly and that I have rights to the folders and files.

Do you know what changed on the FTP server? I would love to know what it is. And if you have been able to solve the issue, then we might be able to provide the steps to reproduce/prevent the problem to Adobe's bug report form.
I have had rather iffy experience with DW's FTP feature with various hosts through the years. Enough so that I only try out DW's FTP when I upgrade, and always resort to using a different FTP client. Although I tend to prefer FTP client software anyway, there are times when it would be convenient to use DW's features.

Unlock slide bars are not showing up anymore...

I recently noticed that unlock slide bars that were originally on my DX are not showing up anymore. When I wake the phone up it goes directly to the home screen. Anyone know why or have this issue?

Do you have an app called No Lock? If not try a battery pull and see if that helps.

Printers are not showing up anymore when user want to select a printer

I was looking for a Basis forum but couldn't find it. So, I guess this is the best forum where I can post my question.
Our end users used to be able to select printers but now all printers are not showing up anymore in their output device list. The only printer shown is LOCL.
This problem just happened from one day to another and now nobody can select printers. The just can print to their LOCL printer
Any idea or suggestion?

Iphoto is not showing faces anymore.

Hello everyone.
For some reason, my Iphoto is not showing faces anymore. All faces I've cataloged are still there, but it shows only the names. And there are many more others to identify, but It's impossible, because the menu shows only black thumbnails.
All the other features of the app are working fine and all my pictures are shown on the other menus, like "events" or "albuns" for example.
What can I do to solve this problem?
I have already updated to Iphoto 11, my OS is Mountain Lion (last update 10.8.2).

Try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - Run Option #2 to rebuild the thumbnails. It may several attempts.

I am new to Iphoto. So far used Picasa and would like to change. I have created Albums (2012.7 sommer holiday , 2012.6 birthday son, 2011.10 birtthday daughter, 1999 wedding etc). Since there are hundreds of albums (lot of pics in the last 45 years), I've put these albums into folders (family picture 1999, family picture 2000, family picture 2001 etc etc). So the list in iPhoto is not too long and I can find quickely whatever album or picture I am looking for. That works great on the iMac using Iphoto but when I want to watch the picture on Apple TV, Apple TV is not showing the folders instead it is just ignoring totally the yearly folders and shows the whole list of all albums. Am I doing something wrong? Does anyone has experience with that?

There seems to be no real solution, but I have discovered a work around which I have tested. The photo albums themselves won't live in separate folders, but you can create an album with the same name as your folder with a single photo in it, so that the albums are separated. I also like to add the year first to chronologically order them. I know that this may take a while as you have so many photos, but I hope that helps as I was having the same problem.

External drive not showing up anymore

I have a wd mybook 500gb.
one part is mac filesystem, the other is FAT. FAT isnt showing up anymore, only mac.
I try disk utility, but the repair says "unable to read FAT." "read input/output error"
it disappeared before, however the repair worked previously and then i could mount it again. not this time.
any ideas? is the information still recoverable at least?

Sounds like that part of the partition is dead and you need to replace the hard disk. If you can get it to be read by a PC, it says the drive isn't dead, but its firmware makes it impossible to be read by the current file system like how this bug happened*:

Adaptation Mode HTML5 - deleted fields not show up anymore -Please Help

Hi was doing screen arrangements though the adaptation mode, and by mistake I dragged the label Purpose to an area out of the Expense Report screen area. the label and the field do not show up any more in the Expense Report from a non-Travel Related expenses and there is no way to add this field again, it doesn't show up either under the fields available to add.
since it is a required field i can't create the documents any more.

Help please.. .iweb will not show pages anymore

have 2 different full sites built and have had no problem in iweb 09.. until now. had moved pages and was publishing back to folder when . . . . it wouldn't publish... then i went to open pages in iweb and it will not show any pages or any site. i can open iweb, but the directory will not come up...
even tried to restore the application .... no go.... i now have 2 sites and, oh, about 25-plus pages lost somewhere..
any ideas?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Try the following:
1 - close iWeb.
2 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder.
3 - go to your User/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete the contents.
4 - reboot.
5 - launch iWeb and see if there's any improvement.
If that doesn't help continue:
6 - move the domain file from your User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder to the Desktop.
7 - launch iWeb, create a new test site and save.
8 - go to the your User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder and delete the new domain file.
9 - move your original domain file from the Desktop to the iWeb folder.
10 - launch iWeb and try again.

Mail does not show images anymore server stopped responding on my iPad 2 when attempting to browse web

Over the last couple of days my ipad 2 has started to play up. First the mail would not show images in mail then when trying to browse the web it now will not open any pages. I have attempted a wipe & reload but still no difference.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).

[SOLVED] Removable devices do not show up anymore in Nautilus' sidebar

Hello all,
I don't know when it started occuring, but Nautilus has stopped automountinh automatically showing my removable media in the sidebar. I can manually mount my media with udisksctl perfectly fine, so the error is somewhere in Nautilus and not in permissions.
I think I have all the relevant packages installed:
local/udisks2 2.0.0-1
local/polkit 0.107-4
local/polkit-gnome 0.105-1
local/gvfs 1.14.2-1
local/nautilus 3.6.3-1
In dconf-editor, both org.gnome.desktop.media-handling.automount and org.gnome.desktop.media-handling.automount-open are set to true.
Can you help me figure this out? It worked before but last time I mounted removeable media is a couple of weeks ago.

I just built Nautilus-git, but it's not showing anything either. I did get alot of messages about deprecated schemas though, that might be related:

IWeb 08 : Album pages and Text not showing up anymore

Hey guys,
I work for a local television company and created a page for one of our shows. I have been publishing the website with no problems and then all of a sudden recently my albums pages are not showing the albums or pictures. Click here..

I switched in the middle of making this website from iWeb 06 to iWeb 08, but I didn't have these problems at first, so I don't think it was the upgrade.
I did do some things with the domain (copy, save to an outside hard drive, to try to transfer it to another computer) and the problems did start shortly after that. But I didn't really mess with the domain file on my computer, so it shouldn't have created a problem.
Please fill me in ASAP if you have any insight because my boss is just as frustrated as I am!

I get a "The page can not be found" message clicking on both links.
You might try to republish/re-upload the whole page
A. If publishing to .mac go to File=>Publish All. Or try to publish to a folder and open it from there to see if it works.
B. If publishing to a folder: do they work when opening from the folder? If so reupload everything.

My text forward stopped working and its not showing up anymore under imessage

My text forwarding used to work and it suddenly stopped working and it wont even show up under imessage. i have restart and re-did everything and it is still not showing up for me to turn it on

both emails and phone number is checked on both ipad and iphone. Thats how im still getting imessage on both device its only the text forward that stopped showing up
also even if its not connected to any device it should still show the option for text forward. at least it used to before but its not even showing that option on my iphone anymore

My apps that are stored in itunes, how do I delete some of them so they do not show up anymore when I restore my phone?

In the itunes store where I have my apps and contacts "stored", how can I delete the ones I do not want anymore. I just restored my phone and it had items on it that I do not need or use anymore

The restore should only have restored onto your phone what you had on it when you last backed up. You can delete apps from your phone by pressing and holding them for a couple of seconds until they shake, and they should then get an 'x' on their top corner - then back up again. You can also delete them from the Apps part of your computer's iTunes library by selecting them and pressing the delete key on your keyboard.
You can't permanently delete any items from your purchase history, all you can do is hide them via your computer's iTunes so they don't show in the Purchased links for redownloading : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
If your phone is on iOS 7 then after hiding them on your computer's iTunes you might need to log out and back into your iTunes account on your phone for them to be hidden from the Purchased tab in the App Store app on it
