Dr-bt50 Issue while listening to music

Hello
I have a problem here whit my Sony dr-bt50.
While am playing music on my Nokia 5800 Xpress Music the music is "lagging" alot.
If im thinking right the phone isn't strong enough to hold the line? It is realy annoying when am at work and listening trough it!
I hope Nokia will release a new update to fix this thing

I wouldn't assume the problem is with the phone. Lag on A2DP bluetooth headsets is often reported on a variety of phones and headsets, and it may not be a problem with the phone or the headset but the A2DP standard itself.
I've never heard a full explanation for this, different people come up with different theories, but one thing you can try is using lower bit-rate music as that may be easier for the connection to cope with. (When I used a lower bit rate music collection I never had any problems with A2DP.)

  • How can I stop text tones from playing while listening to music?

When I am using my phone as an iPod I sometimes get multiple texts from people in various group messages. Is there a way to disable the text tones while listening to music?

Hey there Brett, during the summer I found myself with a broken ringer and it was stuck on full volume. If you go into your setting under sound you will find your text tones, there you will select NONE and theres no noise when you get a text

  • Screen Savers That Work While Listening To Music

HI, i'm having a hard time find a simple "screenblanker"(mabye text or a clock) screensaver saver that I can have on while listening to music. My problem is all the apple original screen savers, they all turn off when I ajust my music volume! And i dont want this to happen  Anyluck?

I have a very cool suggestion for you:
1: Download the free SoundStream screeensaver and install it, set it as your screensaver.
    http://pcheese.net/software/soundstream/
2: Next open AppleScript Editor and paste this script in:
    tell application "System Events"
        if process "ScreenSaverEngine" exists then
            tell application "ScreenSaverEngine" to quit
        else
            do shell script "System/Library/Frameworks/ScreenSaver.framework/Versions/A/Resources/ScreenSav erEngine.app/Contents/MacOS/ScreenSaverEngine -background > /dev/null 2>&1 &"
        end if
    end tell
4: Now Save the script "DeskScreen" as a Application to your Utilities Folder and drag a alias to the Dock.
    5: Hide the Dock (optional)
6; Play iTunes and enable the "DeskScreen" and enjoy, uses your microphone and the sound to create effects.
7: To stop the effect, just click the "DeskScreen" icon in the Dock again and it turns off. You have full use of the computer too.
8: Works with most screensavers. Eats CPU/GPU, so you might want to cut it off when your using the machine for heavy duty programs.
    Enjoy
    and a bonus....free 3D game...

  • HELP!  I am missing calls while listening to music on my iPhone 5.

    Device: iPhone 5
    Completelty upgraded to iOS 7.1.1
    Apps set to automatically update
    Carrier: Verizon
    Location - Atlanta, GA
This use to happen occassionally, but has become a more frequent issue as of late. When I am listening to my music player or watching Netflix/Amazon on my phone I am randomly missing phone calls.
For example...just this morning, my wife called me and said "are you OK, I've called 4 times." My reaction was once again annoyance and disbelief because I was simply driving down the interstate listening to my music. The phone never stopped the music to answer the call on her first four attempts and then the call apparently went through on her 5th attempt.
This has happened at least once EVERY day this week. I have missed calls from my friends, nanny and most importantly about 10-12 calls from my wife.
It really does appear to be completely random because once this week my wife called while I was driving into work listening to my music and the call came through on the first attempt. My music paused, I clicked ANSWER...no problems at all. The call lasted a few minutes, we hung up, and my music automatically started back up. 30 minutes later she called me back, while I was listening to music and the call never came through to me. My music didnt stop, my phone didnt ring and I do not have a missed call on my call log. She however showed me her call log and sure enough it took her 4 times to reach me for that second call.
Sometimes it only blocks one attempt on her part...other times it can be 3 or 4.  Needless to say, this is becoming a very annoying issue.
I do not have the "Do Not Distrub" feature activated.  I have NEVER used that feature.  Here are the settings, which I presume are the default setting, under the DND menu:  Again, these must be the default setting because I have not touched them.  Ever.
    Manual - turned off
    Scheduled - turned off
Allow calls from - Favorites.  I do not have any "favorites" programmed into my contacts.
Repeated Calls - this is turned ON
Silence - this has "Only while iPhone is locked" selected.
Also, my phone will periodically, randomly tell me I have a voice mail but not make a noise and not ring at all.  Text messages are also being ignored.  No sound, no buzz, and then all of a sudden I get abanner notification of having a voice mail/text message.
Again, it works MOST Of the time with no issue.
    Any thoughts on this?
Anyone else having the same issue?
Could this be a bug with iOS 7.1.1???
    Thank you,
    Ben

I skimmed through this very long post but from what I read, this sounds much more like a coverage issue with your network than a device issue.  I have not seen or heard of this issue before and I do not have this issue personnally and & I use the music app quite frequently while working in the yard.
The DND feature should not be a factor at all if you're sure it's turned off.  I always recommend restarting your phone by holding down the home button + the lock button for 10-12 seconds until the Apple logo appears.  Once the phone reboots, do a test to see if this has helped to resolve the issue.
If not, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.  Then, test it out again.  Post back if neither of these solutions solve your issue.

  • Keep The Screen on While Listening To Music IOS8

While driving and listening to music, I prefer to have the iPhone's screen on ... just makes it easier to change songs without having to hit the home button to bring the player controls back up.  Is there a way to do this in ios8?

    Hi shafeen,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
You can turn off the Auto-Lock in Settings to keep you iPhone from going to sleep. Keep in mind that your battery life will decrease if your iPhone does not go to sleep.
    iPhone: About General Settings
    Auto-Lock
Locking iPhone turns off the display. Nothing happens if you touch the screen. You can still receive calls and text messages, an you can adjust the volume and use the mic button on the iPhone Stereo headset when listening to music or on a call.
Set the amount of time before iPhone locks
Choose General > Auto-Lock and choose a time.
    Have a great day,
    Joe

  • Scrolling pictures on Apple TV while listening to music

How do I turn off pictures that are scrolling when I listen to music from my compute when music coming through Apple TV? Or how do I turn on scrolling through pictures from IPHOTO instead of these pictures which Apple TV is pulling from some other source?
    Kent Hill

Made real progress, but I can't make it choose just IPHOTO. It insists on me choosing an"event," and I have a thousand of those. I was hoping to have it randomly go through my IPHOTOs. Ideas?
    Thanks.

  • Phone Volume buttons doesn't work when you receive a call while listening to music

It is surprising to see such a silly and annoying bug. I was listening to music at high volume. Then received a call when the phone was unlocked and on music player. Now the fun started. I cannot reduce the volume by the outside volume buttons where as the volume of voice stays same. Very annoying dis-pleasurable experience. Don't know if it is common on other iPhones but it happened consistently on iPhone6+.
Workaround - If we lock the phone and use the volume buttons then it reduces and increases sound successfully.

The point I am referring to is already when I picked the call the controls didn't switch to Phone App. The whole time Phone app is active on the screen volume is not reducing at all. Quirk of the system - there is no soft volume control on the phone app hence user has to use the Hardware side buttons only. When phone app is in focus and in control the volume controls should work. This is definitely a major bug.

  • While listening to music in my car, I don't have the option to choose between bluetooth and headphones anymore. Why?

On IOS 6 and earlyer, I use to be able to choose between the bluetooth or the headphone jack. Now, I can only play music true my bluetooth and I can't pause the music. Anybody has a solution?

Basic Troubleshooting Steps when all else fails
    - Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear.  (For iOS 6, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
    - Relaunch the App and try again.
    - Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
    - Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
    - Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
    - Restore as new device. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137  For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.
    - Test the issue after each step.  If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem.

  • 3rd Generation Nano Crashes Randomly While Listening to Music

My iPOD is 5 months old and worked well for the first 2 months. Around March it began to crash when I sync it. Simply restarting my iPOD solves that problem until the next time I plugged it in. More recently, however, it has begun to crash while I’m playing music, video remains seemingly unaffected by this problem. This second problem started after I charged the battery over night. The next morning I shoved it in my pocket assuming the screen was blank because of the auto shut off. When I took it out of my pocket I found it had crashed sometime in the middle of the night after it had finished charging. After that the iPOD started crashing within the first or second song I play. The screen will go blank, with back light on, a few seconds later the Apple logo flashes on. My iPOD starts back up, but no sooner do I start playing than it crashes midway through another a song. I down loaded the most recent version and when that didn’t work I tried restoring it. In the end even that didn’t work. Any help with this matter is greatly appreciated.
    Troubled Student

I have just noticed it crashes while its idling as well.

  • I use my iPhoto library as my ScreenSaver while listening to music on Apple TV. It lost the ability today to set photos in Screen Saver mode. I can access Photo Stream, Gallery and Flickr. How do I get my IPhoto Library back?

Help! My iPhoto library has disappeared from my screen saver list of choices. I have used it for 5 months.
    How do I get back?

Are you still able to connect to your iTunes library under the computers feature. Have you checked your photo sharing options from the advanced menu in iTunes on your computer.
