Dr/Cr Indicator instead of (-) & (+)

Hi All,
In Line item display of Vendor, Cut, GL -SAP standard is showing for Credit amount indicator and Debit amount indicator, but instead of this indicators can we use Dr / Cr indicators.

Hello Javed,
You could add the posting key field into your layout, and you could also add the Debit/Credit indicator into your layout as well for finding it is in debit or credit side.
For example, run FBL1N, enter the parameters,then press F8-> in the next screen, press"change layout " button(CTRL+F8), you could move the hidded fields(right side) to displayed fields(left side), then press enter key, the layout could be changed.

Hi everybody,
I'm getting crazy, because I'm looking for the way to change the colour of
the lines I want in the same string indicator.
I'm doing an application to control an instrument by serial port, and I'm
concatenating the lines that this instrument gives me, but there is some
line that I would want to change its colour, because there has been an alarm,
for instance. And I only can change all the string.
Is there any way to do this? I don't know.

The fourth step is a little bit difficult to understand, but what I've done
is all the three first steps, and in the fourth one I've made an array (I32)
of the lines that I don't want to highlight and connect it to Disabled �tems.
Do you think this is a good solution?

Aperture fails to import 10,000 pics - hangs, instead, and takes 200% CPU

Help!
I am an IT professional and a professional photographer. But I have now spent a MONTH!! trying in vain to import my photo library into Aperture on my iMac.
I try to import 10,000 images (the import mode that leaves originals where they are) from my 1 TB firewire drive (bought at Apple store). Result same every time: it imports for hours or days (taking 200% CPU - who writes this malware?) , then hangs up completely.
Apple is no help.. no phone number to be found anywhere. I'll even pay.. this is my work, and I cannot do it.
I have followed maybe 50 threads here and on Google about similar issues and I have done everything that everyone suggests. No difference.
My latest import again halted with the app locking up. Here is what I did:
I bought a 1 TB RAID0 drive at the Apple Store. I copied all my photo shoot directories ove rthere. I emptied Aperture (deleted all projects, restarted). I then started re-importing the images from the new drive (I chose the way that leaves the originals where they are).
So far it has been chugging along all night creating thumbnails. The CPU is 200% used (of which 190% is Aperture). Aperture is completely unresponsive. In fact - Aperture is so unresponsive I am sure it has hung up. Yes, it has - no activity but 200% CPU. Ok, I force quit and now I need to repeat the process again?
This does not seem like good software - certainly not well behaved. I mean, how difficult can it be to import 10,000 images - that is what this software is for. Right? So make the app “nice” 10, already, so I can do other things meanwhile. Or give me a progress bar, with an ETA.
I am willing to learn - not being difficult. I have Googled others’ issues. I have followed instructions. I have tried support (no help there). I ask here.
But should it really take month to import my images? I am very close to throwing this crapware out and getting Lightroom instead.
Ideas welcome. Or an Apple phone number, which Appleseems to be very adept at hiding at all costs. I'll pay for the **** service!!!!!

Welcome to the forum.
The phone number will be on the AppleCare document that came in your Aperture box, along with an AppleCare ID for your copy of Aperture.

I've never imported more than a thousand images at once but have not seen the kind of problems you are describing. What happens if you try importing smaller chunks at a time?
Progress bar - open up the Activity window (Window>Show Activity) to view the progress of all background tasks such as importing & exporting, generation of thumbnails and Previews. You'll also see a 'working' indicator at the bottom of the Viewer or Browser panes, clicking on this will normally bring up the Activity window. Finally, the Project you are importing into will show a pie chart progress indicator instead of it's usual 'filing box' icon.

'+(taking 200% CPU - who writes this malware?)+' - if you're an IT pro then you're already aware that apps that are working flat-out and are multi-core aware are going to grab as much of the CPU(s) as possible. 200% and not doing anything is a problem - 200% in itself simply means the app is making full use of the resources available, and RAW decoding is an extremely CPU-intensive task.

Place the cursor in certain indicator

How to show webgui progress indicator in Webgui while executing report

ITS 6.2 patch 18
I am calling r/3 report as a new window from template base html page. Mission is to show webgui progress indicator instead of hour glass. The report takes 3 minutes to the result. Shortly before showing result page,the webgui progress indicator appears at the center of the page. I tried abap function SAPGUI_PROGRESS_INDICATOR to r/3 report.However, it did not work.
If anyone konws how to do it, let me know.

Another question is how to grab webguiform input field data.
I got other issues.
As you see source code, I pass parameter like PA0001-ORGEH=`PA0001-ORGEH` to the javascript function for a popup window .
When I use this `SAP_InputField("PA0001-ORGEH")` clause at template script, I cannot grab data properly before hitting enter. I guess the reason is in webgui's dynamic webpage generation. Is it right ?
When I use html code <input type="text">, there is no problem in passing parameter. When I use search help function with <input> code, other field's data is changed into default value.
If someone knows the way to grab input field data from DOM, let me know. I tried document.webguiform.element[0].value, it did not work.
It seems there are tons of limits in webgui function.

Why does the charge indicator never go away in iOS 7???

I think it is a HORRIBLE design in iOS 7! The charging icon NEVER goes out, even if your phone is completely charged!

I guess it's now a "connected to power" indicator instead of a "charging" indicator. I just look at the percent and how full the battery icon looks.

I want to use asterisk indicator instead of Arabic numbers in footnotes, so I changed the footnote number format to the symbol format indicator *, but the asterisk does not increment so that the first
footnote would be displayed as * blah blah, second footnote would be ** blah blah, and third footnote would be *** blah blah. How can I use only the asterisk symbol indicator and also let it increment for each footnote? I am seeking your assistance with

I'm afraid we don't have such a built-in feature/setting to do this in Word. Actually, you can do this manually. This won't take too much effort if you don't have a giant number of footnotes to be inserted.
When you want to insert a footnote, you can click the Footnotes
Dialog Box Launcher, type any number of asterisk indicators you want into
Custom mark textbox, then click Insert.

RMPS - Case indicator and generation rule

Hello gurus!!!
I need your help. My problem is:
I try to define the generation rules for a case (case indicator), instead of a record number in RMPS.
Iu2019m using the case attributes to fill the information that I need to generate the rule.
But, when I create a case the case indicator isnu2019t completed.
I've read that I have to use the record attributes to define the generation rule but I donu2019t know if the case attributes could be inherit to the record attributes. Do you know if a bapi exit for transfer the attributes between the case and the record?
Should I customize something for generated the rule for the caso as well as the transaction SRMREFRULE.
For example:
I would like define a rule with the attribute Z_NUM_CASE but I donu2019t know if I shoul customizing this attribute in the srmregedit for the record. And, Do the record inherit the attributes for the case? should I customizing something? Should i use a bapi for transfer the values between the case and the record?

Vendor Ageing Report Through Report Painter

Dear All
As per my company requirement we are trying to develop vendor ageing report through report painter, by using library 8A4 (EC CPA: Drill Down Open Item), our requirement is all normal items and some special GL transactions (Not all) has to flow in this report.
In FKI4 / FKI5 if we assign any special GL, then data flowing in to report relating to that particular special GL transactions only, normal items are not flowing in to report. If we not assign any special GL then all normal and special GL transaction are flowing in to report.
Can anybody suggest how to restrict flow of some special GL transaction data in to report. Our requirement is all normal transaction along with some specified special GL transaction data has to flow in to report. Points will be rewarded on helpful answer.

Hi Madhava
You can pull all values whether Sp GL or Normal GL values. For a particular 'Column' if you assign Sp Gl Indicator you will fetch all Sp Gl Values in that column. Same way in other column, you dont assign Sp Gl Indicator, instead you calculate manually as shown below;
In a similar fashion you can calculate all values for (00-30), (31-60) ...and so on.

Now I'm just ****** off - original photos missing from iPhoto

Ok.
So I had this problem the other day after upgrading to iPhoto 6 (see here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=406534&tstart=0)
That seemed to get solved from the information provided.
OK, great. So today, I'm flipping through some albums, and I discover, much to my chagrin, that some photos (all of which appear to be from 2000/2001) have thumbnails, but no longer have the photos attached.
And before you say, "hey, do you have the apple support framework 1.4?" why yes, I've already checked.
And before you say, "hey, did you try rotating/exporting/dragging the photos to your desktop?" Why yes, I've already tried.
As a matter of fact, when I try to go into the iphoto library file structure itself, and open some of these older photos (after searching around for them because ever since the upgrade, I appear to have about 800 different files in my iphoto folder), I get a message that the image either doesn't exist or is corrupt.
Speaking of the file structure, This is a list of what I get now when I open the pictures folder in finder:

All of the photos (so far) that appear to not open are from 2001 and earlier. They are also photos that were taken with an old digital camera, and have file names such as "3 - 141" rather than the more current file naming conventions (but I didn't name these photos - iPhoto did, based on the original roll imports.
I'm finding it extremely frustrating that iPhoto wasn't upgraded in a way that took into account how previous versions of iPhoto itself worked!.
Nevermind that I've submitted multiple bug reports about the fact that iPhoto continues to crash every time I try to empty the trash folder, and have heard not a peep out of Apple.

I know it must be frustrating. there is some info in the iPhoto Help files for missing photos:
"What to do about a missing photo
When you import or edit photos in iPhoto, they are saved in the iPhoto Library folder, located in the Pictures folder on your computer.
If you move, delete, or otherwise change a photo in the iPhoto Library folder, and then open the iPhoto application and try to edit or use that photo, iPhoto may not be able to find it. You will see the missing photo indicator instead (shown below).
To find or replace a missing photo:
If you have the original photo file, either on a CD or on your computer, just import it again into iPhoto. For more information, see Related Topics below.
If you don't have the original photo, or you are trying to find an edited version, try one of the following options.
Click your computer's Trash icon (not iPhoto Trash) and see if the photo is still in there.
Do a search.
To search within the iPhoto Library folder, open your Pictures folder and then open your iPhoto Library folder. From there, click Command-F, choose Images from the Any pop-up menu, and enter a search term.
To search all your files and folders, in the Finder, choose File > Find and enter a search term.
IMPORTANT: When you find the photo file, don't drag it directly into the iPhoto Libary folder. Save it to your desktop, then import it back into iPhoto from there.
If you don't know the file name, try going back to the original iPhoto Library folder and look at the other images. If one is missing in a numerical order, it may be the photo you're looking for and you can search for it. If that doesn't work, try searching on the date you think you moved the file, or the date you last edited it."
As far as your file structure, those loose year folders (if empty) can be deleted or dragged to the trash.
If the Year folders have photos in them that are missing from your library, drag them to the desktop and import the photos into iPhoto.
Here is how the library should look and what the folders contain.

As you can see the structure is now related to rolls. Rolls are created for each folder you import and each import session from a camera.
It is very easy to change the names of film rolls within iPhoto to make them easier to find images within. Open the info panel in iPhoto by clicking on the "i" icon. Once it is opened, click on the roll title in the viewing window.
Click on the word "title" in the info pane and type in your new title. I like to use a date and text format such as 12/25/05 Christmas at Mom's, 1/05/06 my birthday, etc. Once the roll names are changed within iPhoto, they are also changed within the Finder, making it easy to locate an image.
When importing from a camera, make sure you name the roll with a date and text before the import.
As far as the trash is concerned, move most of the photos back into the library and delete a few at a time, then empty iPhoto's trash.
Some people have found success on making sure the trash folder is highlighted then go to iPhoto>empty trash.

whenever sap report run report display credit balance using minus(-) indicator and debit balance using plus(+) indicator; now i want to run sap report using DEBIT and CREDIT indicator instead of minus or plus indicator..
so, pls suggest me suitable T.Code for BNR and G/L Report.

Issue with DataGroup item recycling

Hello,
I am writing an "horizontal list" which is continuous / cyclic ( as in, just after the last item, the first item comes again, and so on ).
At first, I thought using DataGroup and a custom layout would be a good idea.
So I wrote a "ContinuousHorizontalLayout", which does just that.
It's working fine but... items don't get recycled.
This is because in my layout's updateDisplayList, If I am visually near the last item and the group has 10 elements, I would have something like :

target.getVirtualElementAt( 8 );
target.getVirtualElementAt( 9 );
target.getVirtualElementAt( 0 );
target.getVirtualElementAt( 1 );
This prevents any recycling because DataGroup assumes a startingIndex lower than the endingIndex. So it sees a 0 and a 9 and will think everything from 0 to 9 is needed.
Question 1 : Should DataGroup record any item index seen in an updateDisplayList pass or do you think the current ( and explained above ) behavior is normal and should not be changed ? If the answer is the latter, do you have an implementation advise for my feature? I could always write everything from scratch using UIComponent but I obviously prefer to reuse the most of the built in SDK classes.
Question 2 : There seem to be a bug for the recycling anyway, as even when I have a more "reasonable" scenario where only indexes 0,1,2 are visible, all the others don't get recycled.
I believe this FOR loop in finishVirtualLayout is flawed :

I wrote the code you're referring to in question #1 and did not anticipate scenarios where, in general, the indices of the allocated virtual item renderers (IRs) are arbitrary.   There are quite a few places in the DataGroup implementation, including the one you've pointed out, that assume it's safe to just visit all the virtual IRs in the range computed at updateDisplayList() time. The implementation could be revised to just track a list of indices instead. That sounds like a worthwhile thing to do.   Can you file a bug?
As to question #2, I don't think you're correct.   The range includes virtualLayoutEndIndex so the next iteration through the loop begins at the first potentially recyclable IR.

Can I use a colour palette control to set the colour of an LED on front panel?

I want to allow the user of my LabView program to be able to set the colour of an enlarged LED on the front panel using a colour palette control also on the front panel. Is this possible or can the LED only be the colour it is set to in its properties dialogue box?

The question is of course: "Does it really need to be a boolean LED that has a True/False and all the boolean logic???
If you just want an LED lookalike where the color can be easily controlled programmatically I would recommend a color box indicator instead. You can even customized it to look like an LED! The attached example (LabVIEW 7.1) shows both methods, but the color box option is programmatically much less messy (no bundling, no array building, no property nodes!).
(To make the LED color box indicator, I customized a plain color box and simply imported the graphic elements from the regular LED indicator.)
