Draft email date shows old date

If I save an email as draft multiple times before sending it, the date gets set to 10/25/2012. The recipient sees it as the current date, but when filing it in conversations on my iPad it considers it as sent on 10/25/2012. I can create this same scenario in both Yahoo and Gmail.

Instead of sending the draft email, then, open the draft, cut all the contents, create a new email message, and paste the contents. Then send the new email and delete the draft.

Well, you sink everything on your 3GS onto your laptop/computer. Then you reset your iPhone 4. When you are restarting it, add all those apps music (ect) On to it. It seems difucult but for more info call Apple. I did that and he lead me step by step on how to do it. Well hope this helped~~

Oicnnot delete emails that show up in my inbox. The email says this message has no content with a date of 12/31/00. The emails keep multiplying in my inbox

Two are dated 12/31/69
and one came in today at 8:34pm (This last one has a "2" next to it which may indicate there are two of them?)
There is no trash icon on the screen and there doesn't appear to be ny way to delete them.
How do I delete them?

Stock app (builtin) - no way to update graphs (they show old data)

Even if I exit and enter again form the app, switch graph View (from 1day to 1month) some graphs always shows OLD data (even a month or so).. even if it seems it download data from the network..
It doesn't happens with ALL the stock quotes.. and it doesn't happen with the %, Price or Capit... it only happens with the graphs..
Tried also to reset the iPhone.. problem still there..
Any idea? Any way to "clear cache"/"force reload data" for graphs??

There isn't a way, I suppose Apple have never considered users might use it the way you are. Or more likely they don't think you should.

BB off for a few days -- When turn on reconciled emails all show one date/time.

If I am away for a few days -- with the Blackberry off -- Then when I return and turn on the unit, it will reconcile email through my work blackberry server. The emails that get downloaded at that time all show on my blackberry email listing as received at one time -- when the reconciliation occurred -- not the dates/times that the actual emails were written. My work email (on my computer at work) will show the dates/times that the actual emails were written -- even though I also had been logged out from my work email for the time I was away. This is a real pain for viewing / looking through and finding emails later on the device. So now, I have to leave the unit on and plugged into the wall when away -- so my emails will show the right date/time on the device. Is there a way to set things up so I don't have to resort to this? -- seems to me that there must be -- otherwise a lot more people would raise this concern.

The last time I checked the incoming emails will always go by the date/time on the device itself. There is not a way to change this behavior.
Do you turn it off to conserve battery power? If so you can always place the device in Standby mode. The battery drains much slower in this mode and should last anywhere from 10-15 days.

please confirm
1) if the bookmark created in wad 7 will show old data or the current data if it is run at a later period?
2) the bookmark bi 7 is getting created on the top of the browser page and not on the address bar. how can i enable the wad to display the bookmark created on the address bar.?

bookmark only holds the View/variables not the data., if new data has been added then it will show new data ..
if you are tryingn to shwo the bookamrk at internet explorer level that doesnt work
you can show book mark at the web template level inside the internet explorer. you need to create a menu item and assing bookmark in it.. if you require the steps let me know.

The answer depends on a number of factors, such as the following:
If you have more than one email account, does this problem affect one, some, or all of your accounts?
Where did you last see this mail -- in your Inbox(es)? in some other folder(s) outside your Inbox(es)? somewhere else?
How old is the missing email -- yesterday? just before you got the new computer? over a week? over a month? over a year?
How are you reading email -- with the builtin Mail application? with some other mail-reading application? with a web browser?
How do you access your email on the server -- IMAP? POP? Exchange? web browser? other?
What version of OS X is on your new computer -- Mavericks (10.9.x)? Mountain Lion (10.8.x)?
Did you migrate your data and applications from your old computer when you set up your new computer?
For example, if the missing mail is the mail that was in your Inbox before you got the new computer, you are reading it with the builtin Mail via POP, and you failed to migrate data, then the mail was left behind on the old computer. The same would be true if the mail was in "On My Mac" mailboxes and you failed to migrate data.

TB v. 24.0: Changed ISP's; ~ new email in Server Settings & Outgoing Server & all Address Books and Contacts; TB still showing old email ID for Fwd & Rply

TB v. 24.0, Win 7 Pro. Changed ISP's. I use Outlook 2007; wife uses TB, same box. Changed TB username & e-mail address in Server Settings & Outgoing Server & set as Default. Changed e-mail address in all address books and Contact lists. Now TB still showing old e-mail address in <From> when Reply or Forward. This is confusing recipients, who have been sending their replies off to a now-nonexistent account. Checked Windows Contacts - empty. Checked my Outlook 2007 - all Contacts changed appropriately. How do I kill that old e-mail address in TB when it isn't even listed any more - except when we try to Reply or Forward?

When you got the new email address and changed ISP's, you needed to create a new mail account for that new existing email address.
When a mail account is created there are many preferences setup to be able to manage and run that mail account. Trying to track down and modify all of those within the either the config editor or prefs.js is not only time consuming, but you could easily cause further problems if any error is made.
So I suggest you fix the original account by reentering all the old data. Then create a new mail account for the new exisitng mail address.
* File > New> Existing mail account.
or
* 3bar menu icon > New Message > Existing Mail account.
when you have both mail accounts in your left folder pane, you can choose to move any wanted emails from the older mail account into suitable folders in Local Folders. This will save a copy of emails.
Then you can delete the old account, leaving saved emails in Local Folders and only one new mail account.
To remove mail account:
* Tools > Account sEttings
* select old mail account
* click on 'Account Actions'
* select 'Remove Account'
* click on OK

I want to move all my email data over the past several years from one yahoo account to another. I am told that I can use Thunderbird to copy and paste . How?

I wish to close down one email account but have no time to indivuidaully send emails out piecemeal to my newly set-up email address/account.
I want to keep the same InBox and Sent data columns as I have always had with dates associated with each email.
I was told that setting up Thunderbird to deal with emailing can facilitate this copying and pasting between two accounts.
Once done I wish to close my first email account ( its unfortuneately contractually linked to my old iphone 4 and I have changed cell phone companies so I am still keeping that account alive while I sort out how to move my data out into my new email account) and stick to using the new account.
Both are yahoo.co.jp email accounts. Yes, I live in Japan.
The Thunderbird program seems to have accessed and stored all of my email data . It did so quickly.
Please advise what to do next.

He will run into a problem when he wants to use his own account. Some apps will have been purchased on one Apple ID and other apps will have been purchased on a different Apple ID. That's a nuisance situation when the apps need updating and, unfortunately, there is no resolution at the present time (IDs can not be combined).

Email Dates

Has anybody had any issues with receiving current emails that show a past date? Starting today all emails I have received are dated in July of 2009. It doesn't matter what I am using to get my email (iphone maill app or xfinity app). I have tried restarting iphone but still same issue. Emails I send are fine just ones received. Also check time in General Settings and everything seems normal..... Thanks

Why is it that I have deleted all emails off my phone (as in from my Inbox, Sent Items, Drafts and Trash) and my Status says I still have 6.1GB if email data on my iPhone (5). It is a POP email account, and the only one on the phone.

The only way to do that is to set it up as an IMAP account. And you can only do that if your email provder supports IMAP.

I had this same issue and got it resolved very simply when I contacted Apple SUpport
Go to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and sign into your infomation
> Go to Manage apple id and primary email address
> Change it to the old apple id that your device is asking for
> Save changes
> Go to Settings > iCloud and sign out of the infomation
> Go back to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
> Change it back to the correct apple id
> Go to the email address adn reverify the apple id
> Sign back into iCloud on your device
