Draft is in Open status after Closing!

Draft document is being disply in document draft window even after closing the draft !

Yes it will be there but the status will be changed to closed. If you want to remove the draft, then you should do it by manual

I just did an update to 6.0 on Lion. Now when I re-open Safari after closing it by clicking the red button it re-opens to my home page, not all my previous tabs.. prior to the update it would re-open with all my previous tabs, which is what I want.

I've had what I think is the same problem since the most recent software update. I have Lion 10.7.4 and have updated to Safari 6.0. The most noticeable difference is that where previously I had two boxes at the top of the Safari window (one to enter URL addresses, one for Google searches), there is now only one box for both functions. I don't like that as well, but I can live with it. However, since the most recent software update my "back button" only works about 5% of the time. Most of the time it is grayed out. So I usually can't get back to previous pages using the back button. Also, when I've clicked a link that opens a new window (for instance, going through the return process at Amazon, I clicked UPS locator and it opened a new window), where in the past I would have just clicked the red button after I had the information, the UPS locator window would have closed, and I would have been back at Amazon - now if I close the UPS locator window, all Safari windows close. The Safari application doesn't close, but the Amazon window closes, I'm back to an empty screen, and I have to open a new Safari window and reenter everything. I'm using a work-around of clicking on History and selecting the description of the window I want to get back too, but that only works part of the time. In the Amazon example, that's what I did once I had the UPS info, but even though I clicked the correct window description, it took me back to the beginning of the return process & I had to reenter all the info. Of course, that info was easy to reenter, but if I'm in the middle of a complicated process, it's a big problem. I've filed a bug report; I surely hope the Apple engineers are able to fix this. I'm used to using the back button function a lot!

Firefox is saving my open webpages after closing suddenly

I have been using Firefox for a while, and recently noticed this new feature that is causing problems. Firefox is saving my open webpages after closing suddenly, and then when restarted tries to open the same webpages. Huge problem: If it's a site with a virus it goes right back to that site. Huge problem for me- viruses must love this feature. I just want my regular homepages to open if Firebox closes suddenly. Help.

This can be a problem with the file [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] and sessionstore.bak in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder]
Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak and any existing files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js .
Session restore works more reliable if you choose Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

MIRO document still is in open status after F.13

In MIRO after F.13(Automatic GR/IR A/C Clearing) still MIRO Document is in opened.Please let me know the reason experts

Could you please clarify what you mean as open status? Are you looking at tcode FBL1n and the MIRO document is still open for payment?
When I run F.13 for my GR and IR GL accounts (GR/IR account special process) that just clears those IRs with the GRs that match. However this is just cleaning up the GL accounts - the main FI ledger, it does not clear AP's subledger for open invoices, which would be why it is still OPEN for payment.
If you are running F.13 to maybe clear a MIRO's invoice and credit memo against one another that would be under the "select vendors" and the reference field of the invoice and credit memo need to match in order for F.13 to automatically pick it up.
Have you tried running F.13, just for your MIRO's vendor in TEST RUN and you've selected all 3 Output Controls to view the log? Then you should be able to see if that MIRO has an offsetting document to clear against. In Test run, if there is an offsetting document, the two will be highlighted in green. Otherwise you may want to check the error log of F.13. Maybe one of the cost objects on the MIRO is locked (i.e. asset closed, cost center deactivated, grant closed).

Black window remains open even after closing the window programatically

I have an application which has multiple windows. From mainwindow button click event I am closing the child form of the application. The child window is opened after a successful socket, serial or gateway connection attempt, after which the application
do work with some threads and while clicking on a button on mainwindow I am closing this child window after disconnecting the respective connection mode. But after the close event the child window background gets black and it remains open unless and until
I just do a minimize and maximize the application. Please help me on this to get this issue fixed.

Where DoSomething is a method.
You can also have inline code of course instead of a method.
Whilst on a different thread to the UI you can't update UI objects.
You'll get a thread affinity error message if you try.
That means you either return your results to the ui thread and process them there ( particularly convenient with async await ).
Or you update something which doesn't have thread affinity.
An observablecollection bound to an itemssource doesn't have thread affinity eg.
You do need to raise property changed at the end of your processing with that option because it notifies collectionchanged on the wrong thread and the UI won't know it changed.
Or you can dispathcher.begininvoke to get back to the UI thread.
All depends what you're doing but hopefully one of those options there will suit you.

Sounds like a problem with the current snippet that has a video on it.
Ff there are problems with a snippet then you can set the browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl pref to an empty string on the about:config page.
Delete the storage\persistent\moz-safe-about+home folder in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed ("3-bar" Firefox menu button > Exit/Quit) to remove snippets stored in IndexedDB and make Firefox use a default snippet set.
You can reset the browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl pref via the right-click context menu to the default value to re-enable the snippets and make Firefox recreate the moz-safe-about+home folder.
Close and restart Firefox after changing the value of the browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl pref.
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar.
You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

Gray screen with lines after waking from sleep or opening lid after closed

I have a 2.4 gHz Aluminum Macbook (Late 2008) with backlit keyboard running Lion. Every time I wake it up after the screen goes black or when I open the lid after I've been gone for a while, a gray screen with thin vertical colored lines appears (the lines are in different positions every time). I can hear sound when I press the volume buttons and I can eject CDs. Usually it fixes when I close it and re-open it. When I'm working with multiple monitors, it is nearly impossible to get out of- I have to unplug the Mini Display Adapter and THEN re-open it.
All I have seen on the internet is to update your OS but mine is completely updated. Maybe the screen is going out? I've reset the PRAM and SMC with no luck.

My March 2011 MBP did the same thing.
After spending about an hour online with Apple Care without success, I did a reinstall of the Lion OS. It fixed the problem. I was concerned that I would lose data or settings, but the reinstall was seemless and everything was the way it was before the reinstall except that the "black screen on wake" problem was fixed.
I started the reinstall before I went to bed and it was waiting for me the next morning.

Serial port is still open even after closing it explicitly

Hello,
I need to close a VI that is using a COM port and use the same port through some other program. But for some reason even after I stop the VI where I explicitly close the com port, I can not still use the hypterterminal to connect to the port. It says port is being used by some other program. What can be the reason? Any thought ?

Is the VISA close the last action you perform on the VISA reference?
If not, then your port will probably be opened again, so make sure it's the last one.
Also, I seem to remember reading something about some bug where VISA close wouldn't properly close the port. I would suggest you try searching for it and also make sure you have an updated version of VISA.
Try to take over the world!

Bug: SecondaryKey "name" attribute, cannot open DB after closing

I wanted to name the variable "bookIds", not the "bookId" in the AuthorEntity (no major reasons). To achieve this, I have used the "name" attribute of SecondaryKey to point the appopriate member of BookEntity. The Javadoc documentation of SecondaryKey class states:

Specifies the name of the key in order to use a name that is different than the field name.
This is convenient when prefixes or suffices are used on field names. For example:

Gmail stays open even after closing ff in private browsing

Gmail sign in is home page, I log in each time ("Remember Password" NEVER set for anything) then close browser (do not log out). When I reopen browser gmail is still open, not at the sign in home page as it should be. Before the latest upgrade to FF, all worked correctly, even it I didn't log out, it would reopen to my sign in page.
FF set to automatically start in private browsing. Clear history settings all checked. Remember Passwords not checked. I have also tried setting History to never member anything, accept cookies from sites including 3rd part cookies until I close FF, and clear history (with all boxes checked in Settings) when I close FF-still opens to my email, not to the my mail sign in page.
Any clues?

naah, looks like its problem of firefox, i removed the plugin and tried downloading using the normal download winodw of firefox but same problem, this time it starts picking up item from the download window and continues to download

Problem opening browser after closing iTunes

I just bought a refurb 60GB video ipod this week, dl iTunes - now when I close iTunes, I can not open a browser window without restarting my computer. I use FireFox. Any ideas?TIA

Well there are millions of iPhoto and iTunes users, so it's possible that someone, somewhere has.
There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

ITunes reopens itself after closing

Greetings,
Since version 5 I and many others whom I know cannot close iTunes. It closes then immediately re-opens itself. Even using Task Manager to close it, it simply re-opens itself again, and in the end the only way to close iTunes is to re-boot the computer.
I have sent Apple about 50 emails with regard to this problem, as have many other people I know, but none of us has ever received a reply.
I believe this is a common problem.
I have managed to ascertain that the first opening of iTunes uses the path C:\Programs\iTunes, but that all automatic re-openings thereafter carry a suffix: C:\Programs\iTunes\ -embedding.
I have disabled all my security software and the problem persists.
Please does anybody know how to resolve this problem?

PROBLEM RESOLVED!
Here is what I did and it has fixed the issue of iTunes continually re-opening itself after closing with reference to DCOM and embedding.
I disabled DrWatson by editing the following registry key from 1 to 0:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\AeDebug = 0
I disabled DCOM by editing the following registry key from Y to N:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\OLE\EnableDCOM = N
Then I restarted the computer.
Then, using Control Panel, I removed iTunes and restarted.
Then I went to C:\Programs and deleted EVERY folder relating to iTunes and iPod. If a folder refuses to be deleted, open Task Manager and terminate the relevant iPod process then it will be possible to delete the folder.
I then cleared my Prefetch folder, temp folder, and then recycle bin.
I restarted the computer, and re-installed iTunes.
PROBLEM RESOLVED

Invoice status is "Closed" after posting from Partial Delivery Notes

I've noticed that after invoice posting, my document (invoice) status was closed while my delivery notes document is open. Should'nt my invoice status still open? in addition to what the others have said, please check your customer master, particularly in the Sales Area Data > Shipping tab. look at the partial deliveries. there may have been settings that tell the system if a delivery has been created with reference to the sales order, the order will be completed even if the quantity is only partially delivered. if the entry in the 'partial delivery per item' field is 'B', then this will explain your situation.
this can also be manually set in the sales order, so you have to take a look at the order as well, at item level.

Open Sale Order Value (FD33) not getting diminished even after closing SO?

Upon Executing FD33 and clicking the status view for a Customer say XYZ , and then choosing EXTRAS-Open Sale Order . Say the value of open sale orders being shown is 75000. Even after closing the open sale orders (By Selecting VA05 and Putting reason for Rejection), and then also the Open Sales Order value is not getting diminished.
What could be the reason ?

Hi Binayak,
As mentioned by you, running of Credit re-org program 'RVKRED77' is the only solution for this problem and it is known problem in SAP.
Some precautions
1. Always run the program in background by scheduling a job.
2. The idle time is around midnight when no user is working on SAP.
3. Some time the job fails as some other program may be updating same tables as this program. In such cases re-schedule the job at different time.
4. You may run the program 'RVKRED88' which will simulate without actual updation of credit values.
