Hi all,
can anyone pls tell me if it is possible to fetch the draft key number of marketing document in pld for that document

and save it query manager and develop a report using

Hello,
You has to assing the DocEntry from the ODRF table.
You may use the following query to determine the draft key. I also suggest to use the
select DocEntry, ObjType, DocNum from ODRF

Find the path of A/P invoice

I have added approval for A/P invoice.When a new A/P invoice is added it is added in draft mode i.e.the entries are saved in ODRF.When the A/P invoice is approved the status changes.When this A/P invoice is re-opened from approval status report or Message or Alert Overview,I want to find the DocEntry from ODRF table.

Basically the Draft key is stored in the target table, not in the drafts. I mean: If you issue a AP Invoice from draft, on the opch table the column draftkey will link the AP invoice and draft table.
You can connect the draft and AP Invoice by the following query:
select * from odrf T0 inner join opch T1 on T0.ObjType = T1.ObjType and T0.DocEntry = T1.DraftKey

I was trying to copy and paste a email into pages and saw it in pages but lost it. apon returning to my email i hit some key and completely lost the email. is there anywhere i might find it? It is not in drafts or anywhere that i can find.

When I am writing an email, I get an alert message that says “The message could not be copied or moved to the drafts folder. Writing to the folder failed. To gain disc space, choose Empty Deleted and choose Compact Folders and try again.”
If I do that, I get a message saying “There was an error copying to the Sent folder,, retry?”
If I retry it sends the uncompleted email. All I can do is keep deleting the message and carry on. Then the whole business might repeat itself.

Because the location for each song in your library is on your hard drive. If the hard drive isn't there, how can iTunes play it?
You'll have to move/copy the music from your hard drive to your computer's hard drive.
Basically, EASIEST way to do all this, if you don't care about your play counts, etc...
-Delete EVERYTHING from iTunes, so that your library is now empty.
-Go to "Advanced" inside of the "Preferences" window, found in the "Edit" drop-down. You can also access Preferences by pressing Ctrl+, (Press Ctrl and the comma key)
-Change your iTunes Media Folder Location to something simple, but on your computer. I use C:/iTunes. Make sure "Keep iTunes Media Folder Organized" and "Copy files to...." are both checked. You can close Preferences now.
-Now, drag and drop your music from your hard drive into your iTunes library. iTunes will automatically add the music to your library, as you would expect, and also creates a copy of each file to place into that iTunes Media Folder you just created.
Shouldn't have any more problems...

I had the same error as Shimon1 when using the MailFlow Tool in Exchange, however I did not have event 15002 in my Application Event Log. I resolved this problem by:

I noticed when viewing individual messages in the queue in Exchange Management Console Queue Viewer, they had this message:
"Error: 4.3.2 432 STOREDRV.Deliver; recipient thread limit exceeded"
This was resolved with the help of this
MS blog on Exchange SP1 improvements.
I made the following addition to the EdgeTransport.exe.config file.

Sticky proposal: Logic Pro (first draft)

Ok, here's a first draft of the proposed sticky for this forum. After looking at what we had, I decided to basically do it in four parts - introductory stuff (please post version numbers etc), problem solvers, tips, and audio general stuff.
I'm not making this a work of art, but value feedback in order to make this useful before we ask the mods for a sticky. It's not complete, such a task is a much bigger job, but it's a start. What's not there? What's confusing? Is it too much stuff? Too newbie unfriendly?
When we are happy I will probably style/format it a little better as well.

A/R Invoice PLD

Hi Everyone,
On the A/R Invoice PLD I created, I am showing both the Item No. and the Customer/Vendor Catalog No. I selected both fields from teh A/R Invoice - Rows table. However, on one of my invoices teh Customer/Vendor Catalog No. is not coming through for certain items. There are 12 items on the invoice and three of them do not have the vendor catalog number. I verified there is a catalog number setup in Business Partner Catalog Numbers.
Does anybody know why it might not be coming through for some items? Like I mentioned, there are BP catalog numbers set up for the item numbers in question, so I'm at a loss.

Since you say this is happening on only one of your invoices, you would need to explore more on the specific items and see if the same behaviour is repeated with other BP's?
If the PLD works for most Invoices then there could be nothing really wrong with the template.
Yes, Press the Alt key and click on the Table selection drop down. If you are trying this on a field which is already set to a table it might not work.
So, please change the field to a Free Text....then change it back to a Database Field and then Hold the Alt Key and click the drop down

Print Draft Document using Crystal Report in SAP 8.8

I created a Crystal Report Layout using SQL View as data source for AR Invoice which prints out fine. (everthing on 1 page)
To print Draft Invoice, I copied the view to use ODRF/RDF1 instead of OINV/INV1, copied the Crystal report and updated the data source to the new view. When print Draft Invoice, it prints 3 pages - page 1 blank, page 2 just the "DRAFT" watermark, page 3 the crystal report without watermark.
Steps to print Draft Invoice: Sales-A/R > Sales Report > Document Drafts Report > Open selected Draft Invoice document > File > Select Layout and Print...
What is happening behind the scene when printing Draft documents? What is the correct way to print Drafts (e.g. special settings designing Crystal Reports)?

Thank you for your reply. It works in this specific report.
But we have both PLD and Crystal Report in the system, changing the settings means the PLD will lose their watermark...
Also, I don't know how the Draft is displayed, but when select Print Preview for Draft, it's asking for parameter (DocEntry), which I have setup a DocKey@ in Crystal Report and set it in the Selection Manager. Does SAP provide DocEntry in Draft Invoice (ODRF) the same way as in Invoice (OINV)?

How to retrieve and use BP's tax information in PLD

Iam trying to retrieve BP's tax information into A/R invoice print layout designer.
But BP's tax information is stored as a variable in BP master data form, more over in A/RInvoice to tax detail of BP is shown in form with different Form id from that of A/RInvoice. Please help me out to solve this problem.

You can also try to list more tables if the required table is not in the list. When you open the PLD hold down your Alt key while clicking the drop down arrow in the table drop down list. This will show all tables. You must do this before you do anything else so if you have the window open, close it and open the PLD again.

Contribute: can you open a draft saved to the desktop?

Hi -
I need some advise, please. While working on a major change to our site, the surver cutout and the only place Contribute would allow a save of the draft was to the desktop. the file saved in .php, but now that the surver is up again, Contribute errored on the active draft with a "broken keys" message, and deleted the draft. The only backup is on the desktop, but Contribute wont open the file, saying that '.php' is an invalid file type.
Is there anyway around this?

You cannot access your iWork documents in the cloud through a folder structure as you can on your computer.
You might want to approach your use of these documents in the cloud in a slightly different way. I tend to use iCloud for my documents "in progress", but once complete I then move them to my regular folder structure on my computer and out of the cloud. This means I have a minimum but relevant number of documents available to me when I open the appropriate app on my mobile device.

Getting the DocEntry from a draft

Hi
I need to be able to check the value of some UDF's on a draft document, which is currently being done by looking at the User Defined Fields form to the right of the draft document. The problem is if this is closed this method does not work so I am looking for a more sure fire and efficient way of retreiving these UDF's.
Is there any way that you can retreive the DocEntry of the draft document from the draft form? You can take the DocNum, however this is not unique within the ODRF table and therefore cannot be used.
Alternatively I could probably check if the UDF form is open and if not open it before checking the UDFs or could have an invisible edit box located on the draft form that is bound to the documents DocEntry field, however I would much rather keep it a bit cleaner if possible and just return a unique key for the draft using the standard objects.

Once after the document draft is added u can get the DocEntry (key) by using the following piece of code..
oCompany.GetNewObjectKey()
This line of code has to be executed after the record is added.
