Drafts in gmail saved in Drafts Folder of another email account's

My gmail account's setting in TB is 'Keep message drafts in > Other, Other >[My Gmail address] > [Gmail] > Drafts'. But when I saved a draft of my gmail's account, it was saved in another email account's Drafts Folder. I have two email accounts in TB, one is gmail and the other is not. This happened on Win7 Desktop. Thanks very much!

  • Incoming virtual folder for all email account

How can I make an incoming folder in mail.app like it is on mac: a virtual folder where all incoming messages from all accounts are displayed?
I have several email accounts and it's very uncomfortable to dig into one account, then back to root^ than to another...

You can't - this is up to Apple to provide a "blended" Inbox mailbox for all accounts and the same for the Drafts, Sent, and Trash mailboxes for all accounts as is available with the Mail.app on a Mac.
You can provide Apple your feedback here.

  • Multiple addresses on 1 computer - putting email in folder of different email account?

I am transitioning to a new MBP next week. I am getting a SSD, smaller than my HDD now, which means I need to work on freeing up some space.  There is plenty of junk (apps I never use, etc) on my computer to be freed up. (I'm also planning to use an external harddrive more often for more files.) The big thing that I want to do is organize my email box.
I currently have 3 emails going into my Mail application. a .mac and 2 gmail accounts.  I did a bad job managing my emails as they came in, I currently have about 7500 in my inbox so there are a lot that can be deleted and more that need to be organized.
I use my email addresses for different purposes, but, for example, my family switches between them depending on what their computer comes up with first when sending me emails.
My question is this...    If I want to put all of their emails together in a folder, for example on icloud... can I do this even though they are from different email accounts?
I know it is possible, but, for example, if I put a gmail email into my icloud account, does it dissapear from my gmail and become a .mac email?
When I transfer to my new computer and have to redownload my email accounts, will all my hard work of organizing into folders be lost because a gmail is going to move back to gmail and out of my icloud folder?
(Secondary question... Mail keeps reasking me for my gmail password, but won't accept it when I put it in. I know it is correct. What I've looked up online is that I need to delete the account and recreate in mail. I assume that and foldering that I make will not stick if I am moving stuff when I am not linked to the gmail server!? I suppose I should do the deleting and relinking before I go to organizational crazy.)

despite suggestions from the well meaning but ignorant, Thunderbird can have large folders. My inbox has some 17,700 messages in it. The folder that holds mail from this forum had over 30,000 messages.
What Thunderbird can not tolerate, nor should it have to, is having anti virus programs scanning it's files while it is trying to use them. Usually resulting in a corrupt index (what your seeing most likely.) In the case of Norton, Symantec are unrepentant and rather proud of the fact that their anti virus will quarantine everything in your inbox if they find a virus or anti sort, even in a deleted mail. Their product is also just plain intrusive and aggressive, not bad when it does not really scan incoming mail.
Create an exception in Nortons for your Thunderbird profile folders.
There is a link [https://wiki.mozilla.org/Thunderbird:Testing:Antivirus_Related_Performance_Issues#Norton_Security here ]to both the mail scanning and Nortons instructions for creating Sonar exemptions

  • How do I, Add a folder to BIS Email account

    Hi!
I use a cpanel email account (IMAP4) on my blackberry apart form my gmail account,
Now i already know from http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB05133 that it isnt possible for my blackberry device to automatically sync the sent items folder, but what I want to know is that is there any way to add to the list of folders that are currently being synced to the blackberry? (By default it only syncs Inbox and Spam) I want to add another folder say 'work' which does not go to my inbox, and hence does not come to the phone.
Also, I am using dovecot as my imap server so my folders are not children of my 'INBOX' folder!
    Many thanks
    ~Salil Jain

I don't know Dovecot, but it sounds like you're going to need to first have that email you define as "work" email directed to that "work" folder on your server. The thought being that the RIM server looks at your Inbox for new mail messages to push to the BlackBerry handheld. If the email is first directed away from that Inbox, then it shouldn't get pushed.
In short, that's going to be a function of your server, not the BlackBerry, unless I am missing something you are asking.

  • Newly created folder in Exchange email account populates to wrong location

I am trying to make a new folder in my exchange-based email account from within Mail. However, when I try to make it show up underneath my inbox in left column (like all the other existing folders) it instead creates the folder in a brand new root directory. I have a pic uploaded at http://gallery.me.com/jgelfond/100035
I want the new folder to be with all of the other folders under the "Seven-Star" inbox at the top, but instead my "test" folder is created in a brand new "Seven-Star" directory at the bottom. I can then manually move that folder to inside any of the folders under the topmost "Seven-Star" folder, but not at the level that the "Clients" and "filing" folders are at.
    Any help? Thank you!

another note: if I go into the webmail service for my Exchange-based email address and create the new folder there, it will populate in the same place as all of my previous folders (at the top, if you look at the picture). The folders will only be created at the bottom if I create the new folder from within Mail.
    Any help would be appreciated!

  • How do you retrieve a vanished note if it's not in the note folder of your email account?

One of my notes just disappeared.  I googled this situation and it appears to be quite a common problem.  I read all of the solutions and they all pretty much say that the note will be in my note folder in my yahoo account.  I found my note folder, but this one particular note is not there.  My guess is that yahoo lost my note somehow when they were transferring it to my notes folder (which I didn't know took place)  How do I retrieve this lost note?  My IPad has not been backed up since I started this note, so i can't recover via itunes back up.  Thank you so much for your input and suggestions.  I really appreciate it!!

In your Notes app, do you see Accounts at the top left? If so, click on it, then click on All Notes.

  • Edit Folder Settings in Email accounts

I have installed the new OS 10.2 and have lost the ability to sync folders on my office email.  i have tried various setups in email accounts.  I have turned on and turned off Sync folders.  it makes no difference on office mail account
Until the change I could see all my folders in Outlook.  funny though, Gmail account shows folders and I have no need for these folders.  And I cannot turn these folders off.
    Any advise.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

  • TS3988 How do I add a folder to my email account?

I have added folders in the past and I can't remember how I did it and I need to add another folder, how do I do it?

If you're using OS X 10.5.8, you'll have to go to icloud.com, sign in and open Mail, then click the "+" at the top of the folder list on the left sidebar.

  • Cannot view Trash folder using Activesync email account?

I have an Exchange Activesync account set up, and when deleting an email, it is moved to the Trash folder. The problem is that BB10 does not show the Trash folder in the folder list. I have to go to my ipad to view the folder and retrieve the email. Is there any workaround for this? It seems to be by design that the folder is being filtered out.

Hello wandern and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Currently, the Trash folder does not reconcile to the BlackBerry 10 device.
    Thanks!

  • How to move email contacts from a folder to my email account?

    please respond to: [email protected]

    Hi Trevor,
To move all users’ desktop to a server, we can use Folder Redirection to do this. The path for Folder Redirection is:
    [Group Policy Object Name]\User Configuration\Policies\Windows Settings\Folder Redirection
In this situation, we can choose to redirect desktop to the root of a network file share or a folder on a network share.
Regarding how to configure this, the following article can be referred to for more information.
    Configuring Folder Redirection

    Hope it helps.

I go to settings>accounts>add account. There is a list of my accounts - FB, Tumblr, Twitter, Amazon, Yahoo, Google. There is nothing that says email and there is no option for Other.

Yes, Ann I did. I can't believe the amount of time I spent trying to figure out what was wrong.
    Thanks.

  • Emails that get filed in draft folder

When I am in my in-box with an email open.  I accidentally hit the draft button at the top of the email.  I saw the email get filed in the draft folder, but I don't know where to go to retrieve that email out of drafts.

If holding the iPad in landscape orientation, then tap your account name in the top left-hand corner and then select the Drafts folder and the email that you've saved within it. If holding the iPad in portrait orientation then tap the Inbox icon in the top left and then do similar.
