Drag and Drop Error
When I try to drag and drop folders in SharePoint 2013, I get a message 'We can't upload folders or empty files' but I can drag and drop the individual files.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to drag the folders to SharePoint 2013.
It is by design, we could not drag the folders to the site directly.
As workarounds, you can use the following alternate solutions.
1 Use the conventional Windows Explorer View - To Open Windows Explorer click on Upload
Next in the Add Documents popup click on “Upload Files using windows Explorer Instead” to Open the Windows explorer view where you can
Drag and Drop folders.
2. Map the Document Library as Network Drive – You can Map any document library as a network drive and then
drag and drop folders to it
When you Map a document Library as a Network drive, you might see an error because of the missing “Desktop Experience” feature in Windows Server 2012
3. Using SYNC Option - In SharePoint 2013, you can make any Document Library SYNC to your Local
Folder (Including the SkyDrive PRO Library) to work with documents Offline.
Once the Library is synced users can Open, Edit and Add Files and Folders to the synced Library
Folder that gets created on your Local.
These additions can be synced back to the Library either every time when you connect to
SharePoint or On-Demand with “Sync now”.

Drag and Drop error - icons are stuck to the cursor
For the last few days when I try to use drag and drop, the items stick to the cursor and cannot be dislodged without a force quit or a reboot. That is they drag, but they do not drop. This is really sub-optimal.
Has this happened to anyone else? How do I fix it?Idiot question - How do I re-install Leopard? No matter what I do, it kicks the disk out on restart. I have tried using the 'install' command on the disk, nothing. It kicks the disk out and boots from the hard drive. I have tried rebooting holding down the 'c' key to force it to read from the drive, it still kicks the disk out and boots from the hard drive. What else should I do?

Someone suggested a solution involving permissions. I fixed my permissions. Drag and drop is still not working.
There was also a set of commands to type into terminal that would supposedly fix the issue, or perhaps it was a Spotlight issue that the thread had morphed into. I did that. Drag and drop is still not working.
Am I just totally hosed? Help! -
Combining PDFs - drag and drop errors
We regularly assemble large numbers of documents by gathering pages from 5 or more seperate documents using various drag and drop methods.
As it's a simple collation, we'd been able to simply drag a document icon from the finder to the corrent point in the final documents pages/thumbnail view to add it.
This works well when combining two documents - but when you combine three or more, you get a very strange behaviour:
Acrobat will continue to re-copy content from the first drag and dropped document, rather than content from the subsequent documents!
And this drives us crazy.
Our workaround requires us to open each document one at a time in thumbnail view and drag between these views - which seems pointless when you're moving the entire content of each document into the other.
Anyone else experienced this issue? Anyone have any insights?

Drag and drop error in new acrobat pro 11
I would be able to drag pages from a PDF opened in Internet explorer and drop the pages I wanted to a PDF opened in acrobat pro. In version 10 this worked but now in 11 it does not. How do i get this function to work again?

I have never been so frustrated before in my life with any phone. I find it obnoxious as it is that I cannot simply drag and drop files (especially MP3's) straight from my PC directly into my phone, which I have been used to doing up until now. Everyone who convinced me to get the iPhone has instructed me that my frustration can be fixed by downloading iTunes and syncing it all up via that program (which I have never used before). So, I downloaded the program successfully, however when I connect the iPhone 4 to the PC and iTunes is open, I get an error message that 'iTunes cannot read the content of the iPhone "iPhone" and that I should go to the Preferences tab of the iPhone and select 'restore' to restore this phone to factory settings. First of all, I don't understand why I need to do that. I have already downloaded apps and other important things in the 2 days that I have the phone. I am also scared that it will erase my contacts. This is such a headache. Music is very imporatant to me, but I am getting so frustrated that I don't have freedom over the phone which I thought was supposed to be one of the best out there. I would really appreciate help in this matter. I am sure the phone is great but I am on the verge of taking it back and getting something else.

If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

If you do not have a local copy of a song which you have purchased (i.e. it is available via iTunes in the Cloud), you may need to redownload it before you can transfer it to your device. You may find the following article helpful:

Error while drag and drop in OAWD transaction

One of my user is trying to attach a document through Drag and Drop in OAWD transaction after he attaches a document and when he cancels on the cancel button he is getting the following error:
Crtical error during Archiving: Archiving Directory cannot be created. The Archiving procedure will be aborted.

I am using the firefox version 17 and when i drag and drop an image on my website. It gives me the following error.
Unable to access local files due to browser security settings. To overcome this, follow these steps: (1) Enter "about:config" in the URL field; (2) Right click and select New->Boolean; (3) Enter "signed.applets.codebase_principal_support" (without the quotes) as a new preference name; (4) Click OK and try loading the file again. Or go to the homepage for a link to the tutorial on how to do it.
I have completed the above steps and it is still showing the same error message. Any help would be highly appreciated.

I have a specific drag and drop area on our website. This works fine for all earlier releases of Firefox after these security settings

Yes the drag and drop functionality is java script based and i am not using any script blocker addons. -

I came up with a way to use drag-and-drop interactions that will take advantage of file input so that I may create a drag-and-drop interaction that uses one draggable object over and over allowing multiple scoring/tracking possibilities. Example use...is having the draggable object be dynamic in that it randomly changes its text so that a learner can drag a term it's possible classification.........thus allowing the possibility of having many terms easily loaded without having to redo a drag-and-drop interaction for each needed terms/classifications updates/changes.
My Issue: When using a variable to represent the text for a draggable Smart Shape object, I'm getting the error message "undefined" when, clicking/pressing on the object, as well as during the drag of the object. This issue occurs when publishing the project in an HTML5 format. Flash interestingly enough seems to work perfect...but we are not interested in publishing via Flash any longer.
To better help you explore this error message, I've set up a test project so that you can see when and how the "undefined" message shows up during a drag-and-drop interaction. I've also included the Captivate 8 project file used to make the exploration project I'm sharing in this post.

It's pretty interesting how things react in this demo, please try the following actions to see some interesting happenings:
Drag the Yellow (or variable drag box) to the drag target.
Drag Black Hello square to Drag target and click undo or reset - watch the undefined message come up on the Yellow (or variable drag box).
Drag the Yellow (or variable drag box) to the drag target and then use the undo or reset.
Move both draggable boxes to the drag target and use the undo and reset buttons...
Anyhow, I know you all are sharp and will run the demo through its paces.
I'd really be very honored if anyone help me figure out how I could (when publishing out to HTML5) no longer have the "undefined" error message show up when using drag-and-drop with a variable for shape text. This technique has been well received at the college I work at...and I have many future project requests for using such an idea on a variety of similar interactions. I'd love see a solution or see if this might be a bug Adobe may be able to fix!
I tried to find a solution to the issue documented here for quite some time, but I was not able to find anyone with this problem much less attempting the idea I'm sharing in the help request - save the darn "undefined" message that comes up!

I just wanted to supply a minor update related to my drag-and-drop question/issue stated above:
I did another test using Captivate 7, and found that the undefined error (publishing as HTML5) does not appear and the variable data remains visible - except the variable data turns very small and does not honor any font size related settings.
I did go ahead and submit this to Adobe as a possible bug today.
Thanks again for any help related to this issue. If the issued documented above is solved, it will allow many amazing things to be done using Captivate's drag-and-drop for both regular type projects as well as interaction development for iBooks!
Matter of fact if this issue gets fixed, I'll publish a Blog entry (or video) on way's I've used Captivate's drag-and-drop to create dynamic learning activities for Higher Ed. and for use in iBooks.

Met "logon canceled" error when drag and drop table to XSD
When I drag and drop a table to XML Schema designer, there is a dialog named "Microsoft OLE DB for Oracle" pop up. When I input correct username/password@db, I got an error saying "logon canceled".

Hi, when trying to create a drag and drop with multiple correct answer combinations I click on the correct answer option to open the correct answer window and the window that opens is empty except for a bar at the bottom saying Error #2032. I can't access the correct answer options because of this as the window is blank. Help please!

But, when I drag from a tree to another show this error:
"oracle.job.RowNotFoundException:JBO25020: View line of oracle.jbo.Key[4.4] key not found in ViewTreeNodeRepository13_71."
Besides that, in my property SelectionListerner, when I have this line: "#{bindings.TreeNodeRepository.treeModel.makeCurrent}" there is a warning that says: "Reference makeCurrent not found".

Don't worry, its a designtime warning because the EL cannot be resolved. MakeCurrent is a method on the FacesCtrl binding equivalent to ADF, which is applied at runtime and not available at design time

In drag and drop, ADF Faces performs the drag. However, the rest of the drop handling is up to the developer. Without any more information of what yur drop handler is doing, this question cannot be answered
