Drag and drop iPhotos are not appearing in photo stream??

Hello,
I am trying to drag and drop pics from iPhotos in to photo stream however they are not appearing in the stream?
Although when taken with my iphone they do appear?
A little confused, help would be appreciated

Remember: we cannot see your machine. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. what can i do when the Drag and Drop feature is not working in my I Mac Using Maverick 10.9.4, it will not do it at all i must do copy and paste.

The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Weather and Stocks widgets are not appearing in my notification center

I just updated my iPad 2 to iOS 5 and the weather and stock widgets are not appearing in my notification center. I tried to look for them under the notificatns tab in the settings app to activate them (which I read in an unofficial article) but they're not there. Can anyone please help?

Have you done this before ? And if so, is photo stream turned on on your iphone and ipad. and as Alfred DeRose pointed out they must both on the same icloud account.
If you're new to this, you might want to do some research. Photo stream is different from camera roll and albums. Many have been on this sight looking for their photos stored in icloud after restore, etc. and they're not there. Also, after thirty days icloud deletes your photos from photo stream.
So if you're not aware, you might want to google your question. We're using the camera connection kit soon and I am learning about it. From all I've read, I'm also not the biggest icloud fan. I use dropbox. We plan to put photos taken on ipad with a camera/iphones into albums on the ipad. We'll keep all on the sd card until (and after) they can be uploaded to a computer.

I deleted some photos from both 'Photos' and 'Photo Stream' using my iPhone. They are not in my 'Photo Stream' folder on my PC, but do they go to the Recycle Bin or just disappear altogehter?

I am afraid not.
Photo Stream is a sync tool and not a backup solution.
If you change the Photo Stream on one device it pushes those changes to all devices.

Drag and drop Iphotos to Iphone wont work?

before I reformatted my iphone, i synced all the pictures into Iphoto from it.
Now, im trying to drag all those photos from Iphoto back onto my Iphone, but I'm getting an error saying "These files cannot be copied to Iphone because Iphone cannot play them." How is this possible?? Iphone TOOK the pictures and now they wont go back on?? They are just .jpg files.
I was able to just drag and drop pics from Iphoto before...but not now. Any ideas what I can do??

I'm not even sure that want you want to do is even possible.
I don't see anything in the users guide or iphone website that mentions syncing individual photos.
I just make an album/folder called iphone. any photos I add/remove for the album/folder are added/deleted when I sync iphone.

However, in our test environments, when using drag and drop operations between Libraries or folders, the IRM Protector is not being called at all. We have tried to update our test environments to the latest Cumulative Update, without success. Is there any
known bug around the drag and drop functionality?
If true, Drag and Drop suposes a great security threat, and we cannot deliver our protection product to our customers, as it would mean document protections could be bypassed by a simple sharepoint operation.

GNOME 3 : "drag-and-drop" + "Alt-Tab" not working

Hello,
In GNOME 3.2.1 with Mutter 3.2.1 (current ones in Arch), it is supossedly fixed the following "bug":
Mutter 3.2.1 changelog:
* Allow keyboard window switching (alt-Tab) during drag-and-drop [Matthias, #660457]
But I can't make it working.
As test, I open a folder (maximized) and vlc (background). I drag a movie file with left click mouse and pressing Alt-Tab makes nothing.
In fact, when I press Alt the file icon changes to a question mark "?"...
Has anyone been able to make it work?

AS3 drag and drop masked bitmaps - not working

I have a drag and drop project using bitmaps that were masked using fireworks. All bitmaps are PNG (fireworks files) and one object is GIF. All objects were converted into movie clips.
PROBLEM
All movie clips from PNG's can be dragged, but they can't be dropped. However, the GIF movie clip responds to both drag and drop.
ActionScript worked when all movie clips had GIF's.
Is this problem because the objects were masked or for any other reason?
Note: Objects were masked because their border is very fussy and cropping them doesn't help with the quality of their image.

The drag and drop feature is not working on the touchpad

My drag and drop stopped working on my macbook pro, the model number is the
MB 13.3/2.4/2X1GB/250/SD/BL-KB-USA
MB467LL/A
The systems is runnng Snow Leapard, I have in the preferences, drag lock disabled, dragging enabled, the operating system is 10.6.8.
I also reloaded the system disk, same issue.
Any help would be appreciated.

Drag and drop into playlist not working + changing of timezone

Hey All
Ive searched and cant find an answer to this anywhere
My PC crashed pretty hardcore like (unable to load vista to deauthorize account before formatting PC) so a format ensued, once i formatted i reinstalled itunes and reauthorized my account for my ipod touch did the whole back transfer and delete and resync of my ipod so now i have to put all my music back onto the ipod touch (well not all my music just the stuff i want to listen too)
So i went and made a new blank playlist (not a smart list) and proceeded to fill ... when i came accross my problem i cant drag music from the library to my new fresh (definitely not a smart playlist) Playlist
ive checked the "manually manage box" in the ipod summary screen but even when the ipod isnt plugged in i cant drag and drop. i can right click and add to playlist fine ... just not drag and drop
also when i plug my ipod in it sets my timezone to london and changes my time .... rather annoying considering i use my ipod as an alarm clock
any assistance is greatly appreciated

Drag and Drop Cursor changes - not working

I have fully implemented a working drag and drop Swing application, but I am running into problems with the cursor.
My application has some drop targets that set the cursor to DragSource.DefaultCopyNoDrop, and some that set it to DragSource.DefaultCopyDrop. The problem is once I change the cursor DefaultCopyDrop, I can never change it to NoDrop. I can however change it from NoDrop to Drop. I have tried it with jdk1.4 beta3 and rc.

Drag and drop iPhoto to mail

I have two accounts set up on my iMac.
In one account if I drag and drop a photo from iPhoto into mail the image is pasted at the position in the mail exactly where the cursor is.
In the other account if I repeat this process the image appears at the end of the mail irrespective of where the cursor is. Whilst this is ok on most mails, it isn't ok if I am replying to another mail since the image is pasted at the end of the original mail.
Any thoughts on how to fix this? I have compared the settings on the two mail accounts and they appear identical.

In the Mail window Command (right) - click on the movie and select either Save Attachment or Save to Downloads Folder from the contextual menu.
Or move the cursor to the dividing line between the head and body of the email so these options appear and click on the attachment button.
