Drag and drop object in other object

Greetings!
I'm asking myself this question:
I have this graph in my application and a panel.
The graph is draggable. How can I drag and drop the graph
into the panel so that the graph becomes a child of the panel?

I recently bought a 3d mock up Photoshop file as I want to mock up my designs such as business cards and other 3d items. The file notes said With a simple drag and drop on the smart object layer your design will be presented in a realistic and striking way.
Can you tell me how I do what they are telling me to do as I have played around with the file till the cows come home and can't work out how to do it. Do I need to do the old fashioned mock up way by skewing the image to fit or is there an easier way such as the drag and drop...?

With new Photos app, I can no longer drag and drop photos into other applications as I did in the past with iPhoto.

YOu're not looking in the right palce. That's inside the iPhoto Application.
You need to look inside the iPhoto Library
As I sid above:
Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there

I bought a 5th Gen Touch. I use iTunes 12 on two computers. One computer allows me to drag and drop. The other does not.The one that allows it has problems. Any idea as to why I can drag and drop on one and not the other. Both are authorized.

I first connected the Touch to my desktop and it allows me to drag and drop mp3 files from my old Classic, which is backed up to a directory. Unfortunately, that computer has gone down before I got a chance to fill the Touch. I have the files on another computer but when I connect the Touch to it, it doesn't allow me to drag and drop the files. I have iCloud set on both systems and I have manual management check marked. I'm not understanding why it allows drag and drop on one PC and not the other when they are both set the same way. My question? What do I need to do to be able to drag and drop in iTunes 12? I didn't do anything special on the computer that allows it so I am at a loss.

I purchased a seagate 5T hard drive that I would like to partition and have time machine on one side and drag and drop on the other side. Is this possible, and if so how?

yes it is possible using 'disk utility'. format the time machine backup as Mac OS Extended( journaled). The windows partition can use FAT32.

Drag and Drop files from other places to universal apps(windows store)

Hi,
Is there a possiblity to drag and drop a file from windows desktop or from other windows store app to my application. I tried searching samples, but it says about dragging an image with in the solution.
The best example is drag and drop files into recycle bin. Is there a way possible for modern app(instead of recycle bin), or give an user similar experince as the same.
If not windows8/windows8.1,could we expect in windows 10.
I believe if it is not possible with XAML/c#, the same holds good for HTML5/JS

Unable to drag and drop files into other locations

As I clicked on a music file to drag into my iTunes, it would not allow me to perform that action.
(I was able to click, drag, and drop a music file into iTunes a few seconds previously)
This happened all of a sudden. The same thing happens as I try to drag a file to the trash, etc.
What settings should I go into to see if everything is set correctly so I can re-perform the drag and drop action?
I've already went into my Preferences..general settings...and clicked spring-loaded files and windows.
Nothing changed once I un-clicked the box and re-clicked it.

Boot into the Recovery Drive by holding down Command R when restarting.
Run Repair Drive and Repair Permissions using Disk Utility in Recovery.
Restart
Download and run the combo updater to refresh your OS X files.

Drag and Drop objects in web app

Hi all,
I have a web application in which i have an option to delete the listed items. now i have to place an image of recycle bin on the webpage and to give the utility of delete operation by only dragging the object from list and droping it into recycle bin. How can i do this? Is there any body who have already done this? Any reply will be welcomed.
And guys no reply for my validation and 'scope' questions.

Drag and Drop - Java -- other application

Hi,
I'm writing an application, which requires to transfer the content of textfields through Drag and Drop to any other application.
Basically this works, but in combination with some applications, e.g. Mozilla, it happens, that the DragSourceListener doesn't recognize, that the Drag and Drop - operation is finished.
Because of this I get an InvalidDnDOperationException, when I try to start a new Drag and Drop - operation.
Can anyone tell me, how to solve the problem?

A drag and drop game with dynamic text response

Hi,
I am a teacher and my school has recently upgraded to Adobe Design Premium. Our previous version was about 5 versions out of date.
I teach A Level which requires students to create an Interactice Multimedia product.
In the previous 6 years, I have taught students how to create simple drag and drop game with dynamic text responses.
Since the upgrade to Actionscript 3.0 the dynamic text response has ceased working.
When creating the game from scratch, I need to move to Actionscript 2.0 as 3.0 does not allow me to add actionscript to objects - I know and am sure that this is a better way of doing things, but I would prefer to keep working the way I am used to.
I use a switch case statement which I have copied below to make the drag and drop work. The objects I apply the code to work in that they can be dragged, however, my dynamic text box with a variable name of "answer" is no longer displaying the response when an answer is left on a dropzone (rectangle converted to a symbol and given an instance name).

To drag in as3
blie_btn is the instance of the object drawin on the stage. In AS3 you have to assign a even listener, in this case MOUSE_DOWN, and MOUSE_UP, as we want the drag to stop if the mouse is not clicked. Then we fire the functions, and tell the object to start drag.

if you want to make the text do what you want then something like this might work.
In the function, you could add a text box onto the stage, give it a instance of something like outputText
and then:

Drag and Drop different nodes within a JTree

I have a JTree that represents a hierarchical object. Within the tree are different nodes representing different objects, each within a container,
For Example:
A
-B container
-- B NodeObject
-- B NodeObject
-C Container
-- C NodeObject
-- C NodeObject
I have got the drag and drop working but as the gesture listener is on the actual JTree object it allows me to drag any object to any other place.
What i want to be able to do is to force the drag and drop to allow only objects of type C to be put in the C container, etc and to reject any moves
over other containers.
As TreeNodes are not Components how do i force this behaviour?
If i have to i can force the behaviour after the mouse has been released but I would prefer it if Swing would show the correct mouse over icons
when I put an object over the wrong container.

When you drag get the [x,y] mouse position and use the JTree method:
getRowForLocation(x, y) for node you at the also for the parent node location of the child node.
Once the childY is less than childParentY, you stop the drag.

Move a user, drag and drop

Hi,
I have created new nodes in PPOMA_BBP and will drag and drop users from other nodes to the new node.
will the users take on the attributes of the new node or hold what they had? i.e. are the attributes (co code, plant) determined by the user or the node? or will I have to change the attributes manually after I have moved the user?

In addition to Vinay's remarks and my previous reply let me make you clear on few things :
1. Using BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE txn. by inputting the business partner number you can check for the inconsistencies for object existence, object links, address consistency, attribute supply etc. All the options there should show Green traffic light.You can try repairing the inconsistencies by clicking on the Start repair icon.
2. In case the inconsistencies are irrepairable use USERS_GEN txn to delete employee assignment and reassigning the user to Org.unit.
3. As your requirement is to deassign users from one org. unit to other org. unit (for example from one P.Org to another P.Org / one P.Group from another P.Group) even though you drag and drop user can not create new follow on documents from the previous shopping carts as the user no longer belongs to the old Org. unit.
So its not because of USERS_GEN txn. user will not able to assign the SCs but because of change in Org.Unit assignment which further changes the user attributes.
Hope this makes you more clear and helps in resolving your issue. Clarifications are welcome.

I can't sync my music on iPhone 4S - trying to do manually but don't get options to drag and drop . If I uncheck everything in my library it won't remove from my iphone

Did you check "Manually manage music and videos" in iTunes before you tried to drag and drop?
