Drag Bounding Box not going away

Hey guys,
I use photoshop about 12 hours everyday for design, so this is a pretty big issue for me:
After a while of working, when I use the move tool, the drag bounding box comes up and stays.
I've been advised in THIS THREAD to install the "DisableDragBoundingBox.plugin" from the optional plugins.
I did. I put it in the root plugins folder as well as the optional plugins folder within the plugins folder. But nothin' doin'. The box still shows up and annoys the hell out of me. It's too noticable on a 15" MBP.
Does anyone have this problem too? I can't stand having to restard photoshop 5000 times a day. Have i not installed the plugin correctly?

Okay, so far I've been running photoshop for a few hours and it didn't occur. I turned the OpenGL mode in advanced settings to Advanced and turned off Anti-Alias Guides & Paths. I bet this problem is because of OSX, because there's no reason why the graphics card should be whacking out on a stock 15" MBP purchased few months ago.
I'll write once more to confirm the disappearance of the problem.

App Store notifications not going away - what to do?

iPhone 3Gs. App Store on the phone shows three apps in need of updating, but those apps have been updated in iTunes, and the phone has synched several times since then. Why are the notifications not going away, and is ther a way to sort this out (without having to update the apps on the phone - they are on different accounts, and it is a pain to have to log in again for each app).

Apple has had an issue earlier with the iTunes Store and various aspects of it's operation. It's mentioned here:

It may take awhile for it to totally clear though.
In the meantime, try the following: Shut down the App Store/ iTunes Store apps from the Multitasking bar:
1.From the Home screen, double-tap the Home button, find the iTunes Store/App Store apps (drag the icons left/right) and swipe up on their respective screen captures, NOT on the icons at the bottom. This will close them.
2. Wait about one minute for the apps to close off
3. Reset the device:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.
After the reset, try to open the Apps Store and see if the updates notification has cleared.

Content and Apple IDs -
Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with one Apple ID with a new Apple ID. Your only option is to delete the content and buy it again with the new Apple ID.

Mouse not going away

I'm having issues with the mouse icon not going away on a quicktime movie I'm running for an artwork at a museum. I have a computer set to start up at a specific time and then a applescript to run on start up that opens the movie, loops it, and sets it at fullscreen. Everything works fine expect that the mouse icon won't hide and sits on the top of the movie. This only seems to be an issue when it starts up in the morning automatically, not when I manually restart the computer. Any ideas?

Do not disconnect not going away

I have a 60 gb video ipod. I have been uploading songs to my ipod before and all of a sudden, it stopped putting them on my ipod. I would watch it transfer in itunes but as soon as i took my ipod off the dock the songs wont be on there.
And another thing. I have to manually eject my ipod now because the do not disconnect screen never goes away even after it says update complete in itunes.

I have the same problem with my ipod nano. Itunes will not consolidate my library, new music will not transfer to my ipod, and whenever I connect my ipod, the "do not disconnect" never goes away. I have already reinstalled the program and I'm still having this problem. How can this be fixed?

Bounding box not showing in illustrator CC 2104.1

Bounding box disappears after updating to CC 2014.1 (AI). Can't show it through the menu, neither the shortcut. Any idea?

I am afraid you have come across the Live Rectangle bug which is limited to the MAC versions starting with 10.7 and 10.8, but not 10.9 (Mavericks), see this thread linked to below.

So a switch to Mavericks with a reinstallation might be the way to solve it here and now.
It is possible to Expand the Live Rectangles to get normal old fashioned rectangles.

Trouble with removing erroneus keywords, they're not going away?

I'm trying to clean up some poorly keyworded images by removing improper keywords and replacing them with the appropiate keywords. When I do this, then hit sync metadata, the old keywords do not go away. thoughts?

I have also faced this problem. (I'm using Ver 2.5)
I have found that keywords are treated differently than other metadata, not part of it as I expected.
(Note to LR designers: I think Keywords should be included as part of metadata synch - or have their own separate synch.)
To resolve this problem with LR v. 2.5, I select all the images I want to change in Library
Then I go to keywords and manually change the keyword set by adding new or removing existing keywords.
Note: You may need to manually add your new keywords in the "click here to add keywords" box in Library before you can make the global edit.
All selected images accept the keyword changes this way.

Illustrator CS2 - Uniform scaling (Shift+Bounding Box) Not responding

After opening a CS3 Illustrator file, now functions such as Uniform scaling (Shift+Bounding Box) and zooming in and out shortcuts, are not responding.
They still work in other files so the problem is specific to the imported CS3 files. Is there a way to remedy this??

It might possibly be a language thing if you are using something other than U.S. as your setting in the International System Preferences.
I normally have my language set to Icelandic but every time I have to re-start Illy I have to switch to U.S. to get keyboard commands to work properly. Just do one keyboard command with U.S. and then switch back to your native language. Dunno why this is, but it works for me.
If you normally use U.S. I haven't a clue.

Section tool is missing bounding box... show bounding box not available

My selection tool is missing the bounding box, i am unable to transform anything.
under View where show bounding box is suppost to be it is not.
I am using CS5... and JUST installed it, i haven't done anything yet.
please help!

checking out the shape tool, and just noticed that the rectangle and rounded shape tool displays differently in settings at the top bar. they appear to be "shape" objects. but when clicking on the elipse tool in that group, it's considered to be a "path" tool? does this have anything to do with this issue because with the elipse, i can create one and the handles are back on the objects, along with the other shapes in there such as the star.
in order to get the resize handles back onto the rectangular shapes, you have to convert them to path? why are these different?

Why does my bounding box not align on a centred path anymore?

Typically I would be able to use the bounding box of a rectangle with a path style set to centred (not in or outside the path) in order to snap several objects paths to one another. Illustrator now sets the bounding box to the outside edge of a path thus not allowing this to happen anymore.
Is there a quick way to fix this?

I got to the bottom of it at the same time...the alignment guides were checked but I must have accidentally hit Use Preview Bounds.
Once unchecked life is back to normal.

Bounding Box Not Working

I'm using Illustrator CS4. The bounding box will not appear. I have tried switching between show/hide bounding box with no luck. I tried alt,shift,ctrl at start, did not fix it. Is there a known issue with the bounding box or am I just the lucky one that is having problems? Sometimes if I close Illustrator and restart the program, the bounding box will appear, however this has not worked in the last 20 or so times I have tried.

You may try to Move the folder for a change, with Illy closed.

My Desktop Icons are not appearing or not going away

Hi there
This problem started occuring a while ago while I was downloading many files.
What is happening is, whem I download a file, the file download icon will appear on my desktop as it should, and as my mac always has done, it should show the actual file icon once the download is complete and then dissapear.
What is happening is that the download icon does not go away, and the file icon does not appear. Rather, when I click on the completed download icon, it suddenly dissapears, but the downloaded file icon does not appear.
The files do exist, as when I search for them in finder and select 'reveal in finder' the file suddenly appears on the desktop.
This is really annoying... I now lose track of what I have downloaded and dont know what is on my desktop.. I dont keep files on my desktop, I just need to download them to there before moving them..

Have you tried designating a specific folder for the downloads to save to, rather than saving them to the desktop?
If you go to your browser preferences you can either create a new folder or choose an existing one to download to. This way you can see all your dwonloads in date/name order as you would with any other folder. I find that it's a lot easier to manage them this way.
Give it a try and see if it solves the problem. If you still have the same troubles come back to me.

Web browser history not going away!! NokiaE-71

Hi, when i want to clear the history of my phone's web browser it will not go away!! I use the usual method of Options > Clear Privacy Data > All, but nothing happens!!
When i quit the browser it says 'view interrupted downloads' and i also can't get rid of this!
Any help would be great!!

use third party app for clearing ur browser history it´s normaly placed on c: cache (on my e51 it´s on c: root) but i don´t know about e71 u should use drjukka´s app for solving this problem.

Bounding Box Not Showing

My PS CS4 crashed the other night and erased all of my settings. Now, when I have a layer selected, I can't see the bounding box. I have checked auto-select, layer and checked show transform controls. I have view>extras checked as well. All I see are little tiny squares in each corner of the layer and in the middle of each side. I used to have a dashed line around the object and it is gone. give it a try.
i clicked on View -> hide Extras. I was hiding some guides as my lasso was sticking to it irritatingly. but i had no idea that hiding all would also take the boundry box of selected items.
