Drag Zones with multiple pictures - How to get them to play?
I have struggled with this program for hours. In previous posting from 2005 people say there was a "bug" in the program so multiple pictures in drag zones would not play? Anyone know if this was fixed? Sure won't play for me and instruction manuals say up to 99 pictures can be dragged into them. If the theme has six drag zones, it plays those six pictures, but no more than that. It's driving me nuts!!!!!
Hey observe... I am not sure, but are you trying to get the "DROP" zones in your themes to play more than one photo on your menu? (Not sure if Ive misread your question and subsequent replies, but in case I havent):
If you want the drop zones to play "mini-slideshows" in your menu, you can do this in a couple of different ways. Firstly once youve added your slideshow to your iDVD theme you can then go to menu and press auto fill. This will put your slideshow into each of the drop zones. If you want them to play from different points of the slideshow just press on them and adjust the slider above them to the point where you want them to start. The other way you can do this is to create a mini-slideshow in iPhoto or FotoMagico or iMovie (without audio) for each drop zone and drop them in.

I tried copying some content from various websites (open content from plian HTML pages) and tried to paste it in Quickoffice document as well as in mai application. all the text got pasted properly however the content had some graphics and pictures in it that did not get pasted. So, I want to know if there is any way I can do the copy and paste from website including embedded graphics
You will need to copy and paste the images separately from the text. Or you can try pasting into TextEdit. However, it should work if the editor can handle RTFD files as does TextEdit. You cannot copy images to a plain text document or editor.

Working with inline images: How to get them to the edge of the page.
I'm making an epub and unfortunatly that means inline images. The thing is i want the images to go right to the very edge of the pages and nto have like a 2cm gap from all the edges. I have tried moving the margins however thhe image still remains firmly in the center of the page. Can I change this as it is really annoying me? Thanks .
I tried and found that you have to in Page Setup choose a paper size that is borderless. in view menu click on Show Layout. You will get a grey border on the"paper". That is the part you printer can write on. I thin this could be the problem. If you have a borderless version choose it. I don't do ePub so I can't check if this the solution for you.

Fluxbox, twinview and xscreensaver (how to get them to play together?)
On my Dell Latitude D830, I have xscreensaver going very smoothly, fluxbox rocks
and OMG, nvidia twinview is totally amazingly easy to set up.
Problem is when I have two screens going, xscreensaver only "saves" the
laptop screen.

If you want to access your iPod directly, play it through your iTunes, connect it to a second computer etc. you just need to change the update method to "Manually manage songs and Playlists" in the iPod preferences. The iPod offers three ways to transfer music from your computer. You can select one of the following update modes from the iPod Preferences menu in iTunes (Edit=>Preferences=>'iPod' tab):

all my pictures in iPhoto got deleted and i don't know how to get them back so could anyone help me with that ??
We do need more information to help. Are the images gone from your iPhoto library, or is the iPhoto Library missing? How and when did this happen?
If images are missing from the library: Did you check for hidden photos? Did you check the iPhoto Trash?
If the pictures are still in the iPhoto Trash, open the Trash, select the images and and press the liitle arrow in the lower right corner - select "Put back".
If the pictures are still in an "iPhoto" folder in the system Trash (with sub folders named by date), import these folders to your iPhoto library.
Have you checked, if you have opened the correct iPhoto Library? Launch iPhoto with the options key held down, to select another Library.
If the entire Library is missing, have you searched for ".photolibrary" with spotlight?
Do have a backup?
If none of these easy measures helps, report back with more details - your iPhoto version, and anything else that might be helpful to find out, what the problem is. Don't do anything that changes the contents of your hard drive for now.

I right clicked my iPod on iTunes and clicked restore from back up because i thought it would undo my IOS6 update. IT DELETED ALL MY PICTURES (2,000) AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET THEM BACK!!!! Please help me!!!!!

Profile doubtless that of an ignoramus.Ok, so I was able to find one but the one i'm most diappointed is the "free music" app i purchased and it had hundreds of songs that i didn't put on my desk top to save. So just so we're clear, I cannot get that app back again with all my songs if it wasn't in the "purchased" place?

my husband has a iphone 4 and i've been trying to connect it to our Garmin GPS through bluetooth. Now both devices recognize it but once a call is made or received, nothing goes through the GPS. I've had it working before but it was before a couple of upgrades. It is currently on ios7.2 upgrade. Is that why it won't work?

Suddenly the apps I downloaded won't work. The screen "blinks" for a second as if the app is loading, and then returns to the home screen. All the apps that came with the iPod seem to be working fine. How to get them all working again?
First try a hard reset. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If still no luck, try downloading another free app from the App Store.

Lastly, try to restore the iPod from a previous backup or restoring it to factory settings.

I recently purchased songs from itunes via my pc and I dont know how to get them onto my iphone? When I click the sync button it says I will lose all the music currently on my iphone.. Help
If you're syncing with a different iTunes library than the one you previously synced with, then there is no way around it. You're gonna loose the old data. The only way round it would be to make sure that all the music files on your iPhone is also in your iTunes library. If you still have access to the computer with the old library, you could copy the files on to an external harddrive, and then import them into your new iTunes library.
If it is in fact the same library, then the music currently on your iphone, is also in your itunes library. Just make sure that the artists/albums/playlists, or whatever you sync contains these tracks, that you allready have on your phone and don't want deleted. What i do is, i create a playlist specifically for my iPhone, and i set it up to only sync with this playlist. Whenever i hear a track from my iTunes library or buy a new track that i want on my phone, i just drag it to this playlist and next time i synchronize, it's there without deleting anything else. -
In my Finder window, the picture icons that usually show up next to the items are not there. i.e. in my sidebar, the little pictures that are usually by the Application, Desktop, Documents, etc items. Also, the back and forward arrows, list items and tasks don't show as well. Any ideas on how to get them back?
