Dragon Age Pre-Order Change / Cancallation

I ordered Dragon Age: Inquisition a few months ago, but for whatever reason, I chose to have it shipped to my house instead of picked up in-store. I logged back in yesterday to switch it, but the "Make Changes" button wasn't there on my order. So, I re-ordered it, then tried cancelling that item from the old order. It won't cancel. I'm sure I'll pick one copy up in-store, and get a second copy shipped to me, but as much as I'm sure I'll like the game, I just don't need 2 copies of it.
Also, in my haste, I ordered the Standard edition using some Reward Certificates, then cancelled that order completely (which was successful, strangely), but never got my Reward Certs back.

It is always helpful to choose store pickup for pre-ordered games! Not only may you be able to enjoy an exciting midnight release and play your new game all night, but you may not need to wait until business hours to receive your game.
Using the information you registered with the forum, I was able to locate your orders for Dragon Age: Inquisition. After reviewing the orders, I was able to cancel your original order that was set for shipping. Furthermore, after reviewing your My Best Buy™ membership, I see the $10 certificate used on the standard edition of the game was returned to your account after you successfully canceled that order. Typically, certificates may take 3-6 days to be returned to you.

    Will Drgon Age get add to the $10 Pre-Order Bonus?
    I had Destiny, Shadow of Mordor, Assasin's Creed Unity, Halo Master Chief Collection all pre-ordered at gamestop, but as soon as I heard of this Best Buy Pre-Order program, I switched them al over to Best Buy( the folks at gamestop were very sad)! The only game I have pre orded at gamestop now is Dragon Age Inqusition, because it does not have the pre-order bonus at Bestbuy, but will it be aded closer to relaese?

  • Dragon Age Inquisition Pre Order Bonus never emailed

    I pre ordered Dragon Age Inquisition and never got an email with the Pre Order Bonus.
    When I check the order status, it says ready to download and that it would be sent to my email.
    I checked all my email folders and it's no where to be found.
    I read the "Game Codes - Read Me First" thread and messaged the Gaming -BBY Inbox with my information but has not got a reply from them either.
    I tried calling 1-888-Best-Buy and it will only give me my order status through automated system.
    It seems like no one knows what went wrong and can't help. Can't Best Buy just re-send the email that supposedly has been sent or send another code?

    So I've pre-ordered and picked up Dragon Age Inquisiton for PS4. When I came home I realized I've not recieved any code for DLC.
    I've checked my email and there's no code emailed to me. I later found out that I was supposed to pre-order online but how am I supposed to know that? Back when I pre-ordered at the counter, your staff didn't inform me that I was supposed to pre-order online...

    Can this be confirmed by BB. I pre-ordered this months ago on the ps4 (deluxe version). I thought it was part of the $10 pre order bonus, but it is no longer there. Was this on there at one point? And if so would I still receive it if I pre-ordered it about 4 months ago?

  • Can I change pre-orders from In-Store Pickup to Ship-to-Home?

    Right out of the gates, I know I'm far from the first person to have concerns about amiibos and pre-orders associated with them.
    I have all of wave 3 as well as the Best Buy exclusive Meta-Knight preordered for In-Store Pickup, but my Wave 2 preorders have been extremely hit or miss thus far. My Little Mac never showed up in store, and when the CS representative there offered to have one shipped to me, it was cancelled. My Pit never showed up, and I was never even given a chance for a contingency. I had just missed out on it entirely.
    My friends who pre-ordered with Ship-to-Home have had little to no issue, so if possible, I would like to change my preorders to be handled that way.
    Overall, and like many others, I'm very disappointed with Best Buy's In-Store Pickup option. As a result, I find myself backing up pre-orders with other retailers. I'm not wild about the concept of preordering with Best Buy being such a gamble. If there's any way to shift me over to Best Buy's more reliable Ship-to-Home option, I would very much like to do it.

    The amiibo figures are wildly popular! I can understand why you would be concerned with your store pickup pre-order if you haven't had the best of luck with your previous ones, which I am deeply sorry to hear about. 
    Sadly, as the amiibos are currently sold out online, we would be unable to modify your order for shipping to your home. With that said, at this time your best bet would be to keep the pre-orders as they are. I apologize if this was not the response you were hoping for when you reached out to us on the forum.

  • Jacob -iPhone 4s FAQ needs to be changed from Pre-Order to Wait-Listed

    Now that we are more than 10 past the release date, I think the public has caught on to the fact the phones are already out.
    You should change to "WaitListed".  Pre-order implies advance sale through Best Buy.  Since people have generally better luck going to other retailers, I don't think this applies anymore. 

    I guess technically it is a "pre-order" in a sense they were ordered before they were available. The problem is the pre-order was not necessary. In fact, it delayed how soon you could obtain the new IPhone if you waited for Best Buy. 

  • Is It Possible To Change My Pre-order

    Seems as thought the customer service lines are down and I need to find out how I can go about changing my pre-order. I pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy S3 a few days before June 28th so that I could keep my unlimited data plan. When researching the phone I could not find anywhere that said it DEFINITELY had internal storage AND expandable memory via micro SD cards. So I ordered the 16GB version thinking it was a 16GB card and that I could swap in a larger card later. Now I find out that it is both internal memory AND expandable. Had I known this I would have ordered the 32GB version.
    Now that I have the pre-order already placed for the 16GB, how can I go about getting the 32GB?
    I saw someone post about how they tried changing the color of the phone the day after the old plans expired (June 29th) and that they cancelled their order, thus canceling their contract, and losing the unlimited. I don't want that to happen obviously but since I can't call in, and ordered this phone online, what are my options besides going to a storefront?
    Does anyone think this will be possible for me to do? Or should I just stick with it and try returning it for a 32GB within the 14 day return policy?
    I have a strong feeling I won't be able to switch the phones on my pre-order...

    Update: Talked to a local Verizon Rep. and they said I should wait for it to be shipped to me, call customer service, tell them I want to exchange it for the 32GB version, and they will ship it to me in a few days. I cannot open the box of the 16GB version or activate it obviously.
    I thought this phone was going to be sold out, unavailable, hence the pre-orders. Do you guys think I should just do what she said? I wouldn't want to get stuck in that 14-day return policy. But I wonder if that 14-day return policy applies to my phone the day I get it or when it is activated. With my luck I would try to exchange it when its shipped, then there would be no 32GB phones available until after the 14 days.

    So I pre-ordered the I-Phone 4, 16Gb version yesterday but was having second thoughts after considering the fact that it records HD video and that extra space might be useful. Does any know if it's possible to change my order or has anyone done this?

    Same here, ordered the 16gb in my hurry to get an order in yesterday and now I'm wishing I had ordered the 32gb. I too called apple only to be dropped because call volume was to high. I guess all I can do since mine is a store pickup is ask if I can trade up when I pick it up. Otherwise I'll order a second one, make it 32gb and give the wife the 16gb once the other arrives. All in all this is quite a mess as it's obvious Apple nor AT&T were prepared for this level of demand.

    This past Sunday, 11/9/14, I placed a pre-order for Super Smash Bros. Wii U to be shipped to my home, but I would now like to pick the game up at a local Best Buy instead -- specifically, the Cambridge, MA location (Store #537).
    I spent 30+ minutes on the phone with three reps earlier today trying to do this and none of them were of any help, but I've found previous posts on the support forum wherein users had the same request granted (for example: http://forums.bestbuy.com/t5/Gaming-Support/Would-like-to-switch-preorder-games-from-shipping-to-in-...). Since the order has not been prepared yet (the game isn't out for another week or so), I'm hoping that this is still a possibility.

  • Can you change the type of iphone that you pre-ordered before launch day??

    I pre-ordered the 16GB Black iphone for pick up at my local Apple store and think i should have ordered the 32gb instead. Was curious if anyone has called to change their phone type from 16gb to 32 or 32gb to 16gb. Thought I would check here before calling them and bugging them.

    Limited availability. Some mixes responses. My store will not allow changes of pre-orders or reservations. Others have said they will allow changes, but you'll have to head to the back of the line.

    Verizon CHANGED the pre-order date from our original 09/19 confirmation at checkout. Our email confirmation shows 10/07 WHY? What was the point in staying up to 3:AM?     Sorry, that's not the point. It you're spending money on phone, AND renewing a contract for the umpteenth time, then we at least need answers. You don't pre-order an item , only to have the date changed without even a warning that this may occur. Whether it be a $20.00 or a $400 one.
    We can also be quiet about it and accept whatever companies throw our way. No thanks.

    I have preordered the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain - Collector's Edition for PS4 in March. What I didn't realize at that time is I will be out of the country from 8/24 to 9/6, which means there will be nobody at my place to receive the delivery on 9/1. I was wondering if I could put the order on hold so I could pick it up at a local store on 9/7 or could I ship it to another address (i.e. my friend's place) so it wouldn't get returned and get cancelled. Thanks you.
