Drawing RTL diagrams?

Anyone know any tool to draw diagrams based on IEEE Graphic Symbols for Logic Functions standard (http://focus.ti.com/lit/ml/sdyz001a/sdyz001a.pdf)? Something similar to CircuiTikZ would be great, but anything else goes too.

Drawing state diagrams?

hello,
my problem is about drawing state diagrams with java.
I have a database that stores the states and transitions.
I want to draw state diagrams with the data in this database.
I use simple Graphics object to draw. It was a bit successfull.
However the API of Graphics are not enough for this job (like: drawLine, drawOval etc.)
For example I can not draw oval lines and I can not associate any string to this lines properly. Or it is very hard to do.
So,
Is there any classes to help me while drawing state diagrams or
any simple way to make this?
Like using a Tool that will take my database as an input and draw all state diagrams.

thanks for your advices.
I created my objects. Actually I drawed simple diagrams.
I used oval for every state. And I decided 4 points on a state to connect another state. (points are obvious). And an algorithm to connect to state with proper points.
And I drawLine from one oval to another.
Then I drawString to the connection point of the first state. (for the description of transition like T23).
This works for simple diagrams,
but for complex ones it doew not work.
First problem is when s1->s2 and s2->s1 It only draws 1 line (normally). This problem is not so important.
Second problem is the labels. When T1 is s1->s2 and T2 is s1->s3 It was confusing one point but two label which one goes to s1? Simply ! can not write label on line.
So that I look for a present library or algorithms to draw diagrams.

How to draw ER Diagrams ?

I recently installed SQL Developer 1.5.1 and like the cool features of it. But I cannot find the option to draw ER Diagrams to show the relationship between different tables. This feature is in Toad so I think it should be there in SQL Developer also.

This is initial early adopter release and it is a standalone version. Future versions will be integrated into SQL Developer and a repository is planned. I've been playing around with a few models and am very pleased with what I see.

This could be silly question, but It really takes time for me to draw the Business Component Diagram neatly in JDeveloper. When I try to re-arrange the messy lines, they're very difficult to controll although I've pressed SHIFT at the same time.

In 10.1.3 we have 3 different versions, a Java Edition, a J2EE Edition and a Studio Edition. Both the Java and J2EE Edition are available to download as Previews. Studio Edition is still in development. The Business Components Diagram will be in the Studio Edition with the rest of the Business Component/ADF functionality. The rest of the Modelers are available in the J2EE edition.

Drawing Network Diagrams For Virtualized Networks.

I'm looking at drawing up simple network diagrams of the virtualised servers and IP addresses.. To make it easier to remember the IPs of the virtual machines and the hypervisor, which can get confusing at times. Is there any basic starting diagram I could
use to give a simple, clear visual representation of the virtualized network, which I could then use as a template for drawing custom network diagrams for my clients.
nb. I dont have visio, but I have photoshop my plan would be to get an image file and just edit this as required.

it's a little bit off topic, but maybe my answer can help you.
I know that problem from my own environment. Recently we started to use VeeamOne (free version with a few limitations) for Monitoring the Workload on our Hosts and VMs.
A nice feature is that you can have an overview of the VMs per Host, including DNS-Name and IP-Address.
Maybe you want to have a look at it.

How to draw phasor diagram with multiple phasors

Hi labview forum,
I would like to plot say a vector of phasors on a phasor diagram, (similar to matlab's compass function).
In another question early last year, someone posed a begining of a solution here:

Has anyone made any progress on this problem?
I have tried to build on the given VI but haven't succeeded. See attached.
The main issues are I don't understand the expected format of the input data and why I can't alter it.
Also, when you manually drag the diagram to resize it, the picture
contents remains the same size instead of resizing also. How can
the picture size be adjusted (manually or programatically)?

You might be able to save some work resizing the image by using the Picture Control's built-in zoom functionality. Use an event structure case to keep track of when the Front Panel resizes. If it does and your picture control is set to resize with it, then you can zoom your picture control according to its new size ratio. Here's a simple and very incomplete example. Hope this helps!

Drawing Binary Diagrams/Trees in Java

I am needing some of ur expertise. I am requiring to represent a binary decision diagram using Java. The size of the binary decision diagram will vary (e.g. different number of nodes and edges) need some help or advice to find out as to how to do this in Java 2D? and how would it be possible to make the diagram editable (Move, resize).

ThanksI am not sure what it is you want. I am under the impression that you have to write a binary tree (or a binary search tree) for a course for school/university. Is that correct? If so, then I don't think you're permitted to use a TreeMap, but you'll have to write your own classes.

Need to draw process diagrams in JSP's

I have a requirement where I need to show process diagrams, DFD's to users in JSP pages.
Another thing is I want to allow user to update the diagram if he feels that the diagram is not proper.

Can we use Microsoft Visio for dynamically generating diagrams. I think it is only for generating static diagrams.
We want users of the portal to update the diagram if they feel something is missing or is wrong (consider it like a mini paint program) but on JSP.. (Not sure whether it is advisable or there is any simple way out there to solve this requiremnt)
For representing nodes and links... may be we can use XML at backend....
But not sure how to approach this problem.....
Any input will be greatly appreciated....

Drawing class and package

My program is about drawing class diagram,package,object and interface�
I have just done only for package and class diagram
When I click on the classdiagram icon from my toolbox, it draws a class diagram,but when I then click on the package icon, a package is drawn but the class diagram disappears�..and when I then click again on the classdiagram icon, the package disappears and the previous class diagram reappears,,,,so why??/
What is the problem?? Is it wiz the viewport??? How can I draw both a class and a package�

How can I Create Class Diagram and save as image in Java

I have to make a project in java that will generate class diagram of the input class file.
I have some knowledge of listing methods/properties of a class file in text from but don't really know how to draw a class diagram model (JBuilder 2005 such class diagram whenever a class is compiled). I have to save that class diagram in an image file as well.
Please guide me what must be my line of action to follow. I need some suggestions on urgent basis.
