Dream Screen weather function

The weather function on my dream screen quit working 5 or 6 days ago. Other function work, and my router connection is functioning properly. Is there a problem with the Weatherbug application?

I have several of these devices, they all stopped getting updates from Weatherbug on 4/2. Checking with my friends that also have dreamscreens confirms that their last update was also 4/2.
I've contacted weatherbug and HP last week and have gotten no responses.

DPS Animation & Full Screen Video functionality failure when viewing mag in Adobe Content Viewer

HI There,
Specifically the following issues are occuring when we view the mag through the Adobe Content Viewer on our Ipad.
All Title animations are not functioning at all (although in the SWF viewer they are working fine)
Although we select the media to be played full screen when we are setting up the videos in the media panel they won't play full screen, but play perfectly well in the place we put them. - full screen doesnt function in the SWF viewer either.
The control bars to control playing, stopping, full screen etc also don't appear on our videos we selected. - doesn't function in the SWF viewer like it should with the control bars working
In terms of how we set everything up just to confirm we are doing it right.
For animations.
1. Select copy to animate
2. Click on Animations panel, chose the preset fade in, selected the time 1.25seconds, animate from current appearance, fade in.
For videos
Our videos are H264 Quicktime videos all 16x9 in ratio
1. Went to media panel.
2. Searched for file to insert
3. Inserted it and sized down the actual physical size of the video to fit in the space we wanted (NB we didn't create a rectangle to put them in or anything)
4. Chose the poster from file
5. Selected skin over play full screen & show controller over rollover

For the animations:
You have to create a document with the size of the animation you want to create and give attributes using the animation panel of indesign.
Then you export to fla and using Adobe Wallaby pass it to HTML5.
Then place them by the panel Overlay Creator (Web Content). Using the Content Viewer can not see it on your desktop. You'll have to climb the publication in the ipad to see the result.

Call screen in Function Module

Hi all,
I want to call a Screen in function module.Is it possible?
If possible.How can I do that?
I tried calling a screen from a function module but the PAI module is not getting accessed.
I am able to see the screen but when I click on the push button the cursor is not entering the PAI.
I maintained the FCT codes for the push buttons...dont suggest me to do that.
If anybody know it, please help me.

It is possible, not really different than calling from a program. After creating screen from SE80 tcode look at the screen and PBO, PAI blocks.
If your function module generate a popup screen you must create your gui status in dialog box type. You can also check code in popup_to_confirm fm to make it clear.

Screen rotation function stop to work.

Hi !
After Installing SP1 on Windows 7 machines, the screen rotation function seem to stop working.
On Windows7 machines without SP1 it works fine, but on Win7 SP1 I can no longer use Ctrl+Alt+<arrowkey>
to change the rotation on the screen.
I've tried to google this, but can not find anything about it.
Anyone else that has run into the same issue ?

Is it possible to copy one Programs Screen to Function module ??

As you know it's common to copy one programs screen to another but my requirement is coping one screen in a program to function module
i didn't find any option for it , is there a solution for it ?

You can't create or copy a screen to function module....
But you can do this in a function group, so that it available for all function modules...
Note : While copying to function group , Target program name = SAPLZFUNCTION_GROUP

Lock screen weather update

Is it possible to get pictorial weather update on lock screen like we get in adroid phones

This missing iOS feature is an incredible overlook by Apple. The "widgets" is a step in the right direction, but they also needs to be applicable and customizable on the lock screen. There's no reason that it shouldn't be. It is completely wasted prime real estate.
Music (I believe iOS handles music on the lock screen), weather, exercise, calendar, etc should all be configurable as a widget on the lock screen. major over looked feature that needs to be addressed.

HP Dream Screen Dual Boot

When i try to my windows OS it shown user profile service failed. in the forum given login as safemode then you can solve this issue. But i cant access safe mode.
my HP Login screen have 3 menus. Dream Screen, Windows, Dream Screen Reset. I move to my cursor to Windows then press the F8 tab but i didn't get safe mode option anything...
anyone plz suggest how to access safe mode... i would be gladful...

HT201066 Does the screen record function work with quick time pro for windows?

I am looking at purchasing QuickTime Pro for Winodiws (yes I will be getting a mac soon...) and I was wondering if the screen recorder function that is with quick time on macs is still available on windows?

Screen recording is part of QuickTime X, not QuickTime Pro. QuickTime X is only available for Macs.

Lock Screen Weather Location

I am guessing this was an issue that came up as a result of the Lollipop install but in truth I didn't pay much attention to it as it was something that was just "there."
On the lock screen, the time and date are being properly displayed but the weather indicator is going to a different location; specifically to the location where my family lives in South Carolina; I am in Maryland. I went into the Lock Screen Weather setting and changed the setting to "current location," then went around and removed the South Carolna reference anywhere I could locate but the weather on the lock screen is STILL coming up for South Carolina.
Anyone know how I can get this thing to reset itself for my current location os somehow force a location?

Morning...I downloaded two other weather apps and both had no problem pickling up my location; problem is, they only work by touch as a widget and aren't automatic like the installed lock screen app originally installed.
If and when I get time I am going to stop by a Verizon store and see if they have any ideas and will add them here. From what I am seeing in other areas, the Lollipop update seems to be causing a host of other issues that I am also seeing intermittently. This reminds me when the Android OS updated the last time; fortunately I was within my timeframe as I had to get a new phoine since the other one was so badly mangled by the update. Here we go again......

How to use selection-screen in function module?

I've created a function module and i have to create within the function module a selection-screen(with select-options for entering data) but i get an error that within form routines and function modules this statement is not allowed.
Can anybody help?

YOu cannot create a selection screen withing a function module.
What you can do is to call a screen , say '0100'.
Create a screen '0100' and then include a selection -screen as a subscreen in that screen.

Subscreen selection screen for function pool program

Hi,
I have a requirement wherein i need to make the parameter field flexible( meaning can exclude, include values etc). Same function as select-options. The parameter was created in a dialog progmming.
The problem here is that i am using function pool. I have tried to use subscreen but it is only applicable on report program. Is anyone knows if this is possible. Or is there any way to make the field as select-option without using call subscreen?

Macbook 11" Screen and Function Key problems.

Hi, I got a refurbished late 2010 Macbook Air from the Apple Store. Its the 11'6" 64GB version.
The MBA turned up this morning and was working fine. I shut it down and went out for a while. Upon rebooting, I noticed there was no sound (and no sound icon near the clock) and the function keys (brightness, volume, etc) were not working. So, rebooted to see if that would solve the problem and was then greeted with a display that wouldn't work. After the white bootup screen, the screen goes black. Not black as in no power, it looks backlit but appears as if the screen brightness is on 0 and can't be altered.
I tried resetting the PRAM and SMC, which didn't help. Phoned Apple, who said reset PRAM and SMC. I've got a genius appointment tomorrow but I wondered if there was anything else I could try in the meantime.

You should take it back and ask them for a new one. It has a lot of issues.

Touch screen not functional (Lumia 800)

I'm not sure what happened but my touch screen isn't functional. Buttons work but the touch screen is not opperating like it should. I had plenty of battery life left. I tried restarting it a few times, but the touch screen won't work. I had this phone for a month and it's driving me crazy w/ these problems. I'm in the process of charging the phone, hopefully that helps.
