Dreamweaver adding blank characters for each character.

Working on DW 5.5 in Windows 7. I open a .php file on the local server then Save As a different name with the intention of editing the text. Before I even make any edits I find that the file has doubled in size, though it doesn't appear any different to me in DW. Our web host tells me that when he looks at the file after I've uploaded it (without making any edits other than changing the file name) he sees blank characters in between every single character in the code. This doesn't occur for every file. It appears that this only occurs with files that call browser selector and truncate scripts. I am able to successfully rename and edit files that don't call those types of scripts. Anybody ever seen this or have any suggestions for further troubleshooting?

I suspect one of the scripts is the problem since I only experience this problem with certain files. I don't have a coding expert at my disposal at the moment, which is why I'm posting to this forum. I wanted to see if anybody else has ever seen this particular problem. My web host sent me a screen shot of what he sees from his end of things. The screen shot shows the spaces between characters clearly. I tried to upload the image to this forum but the system isn't letting me upload it. Gives me a vague message and suggest I check the file size (it's only 74kb, so I don't think the file size is the issue). So...I'm probably going to move to the next step, which is to have someone else in the firm test to see if they experience the same problem.

If I understand correctly, you have already added a chart in group footer, and you want to display the chart on the right side of the cell. If I have misunderstood, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Based on my research, if we directly add a chart into a cell, the chart will fill all of the space in the cell. So in order to achieve your requirement, we can insert this chart into a rectangle, then add the rectangle to the group footer. If we want to
display the chart on the right side, we can directly drag the chat to the right of the rectangle.
If there are any misunderstanding, please elaborate the issue for further investigation.

I have requirement of report design, user has ability to select single or multiple product name in parameter and it should display column headers for each group and chart for each group (product name).

According to your description, you want to design a tablix to display header and chart for each group in its group header and footer. Right?
In Reporting Service, when we add header and footer for a group, the header row and footer row are still within this group. Anything we put in these two rows will be grouped. For your requirement, we created a sample report in our local environment. Here
are steps and screenshots for your reference:
1. Create a matrix. Columns are grouped by month. Rows are grouped by ProductName (with group header and footer).
2. Put the text/field of the first row into the group (ProductName) header. Delete the header row of matrix (the first row), select Delete rows only.
3. Insert a chart into the group footer. It looks like below:

Adding the Checkbox for each row in classic report

I have created classic report with checkboxes in each row and added the On-Submit process, BUTTON CONDITIONAL, to determine the behavior of the checkboxes. The PL/SQL process is suppose to delete the selected row from database.
I am getting the Success message, but When I check the database, the row still persist in the database.

Mail shows a capital A in a square border character for each character in all links in most html emails.

If I copy and paste a block of these characters into TextEdit, I can see the correct verbage with links intact. Using OSX 10.6.8, all software updated. What's up with this? Still using mobileme, could it be related to that? This just started two days ago. Old emails are now displaying this way. Actually, an email from the White House goes the other way; the entire body displays as blocks of capital As (inside a square border) and the links display correctly.

A’s with boxes around them is always a sign of trouble with the main system font, Lucida Grande.
Close all running applications. From an administrator account, open the Terminal app and enter the following command. You can also copy/paste it from here into the Terminal window:
sudo atsutil databases -remove
Terminal will then ask for you to enter your admin password. As you type, it will not show anything, so be sure to enter it correctly.
This removes all font cache files. Both for the system and all user font cache files. After running the command, close Terminal and immediately restart your Mac.
If after that the problem returns, then Lucida Grande itself is damaged and needs to be replaced.
That's fixed with reinstalling the OS.

I need exstension for manualy adding IP number for each domain. Is it possible?

I have problems with some pages. When I go to (example) http://www.somewhere.com, browser should go to (example) 192.182.22.45, but it goes to 123.111.211.2. Browser yust goes to the wrong server. I need a window in browser's options where I could appoint/inscribe settings (IP) for defined domains manually.
I am really missing option like that for manny years.

ShowIP only shows IP of website. It doesn't change DNS setting.

I want to find out the last entry date for each quarter. The query I am using is this:

According to your description, you have a matrix which shows you those unexpected cells. Right?
In this scenario, the reason caused this problem is the group setting. Mostly, you set the row group on a wrong field. As we tested in our local environment, if you set the row group on LastDateOfClipEntry, it will render the data as the screenshot you post.
Please check both Row and Column Group setting, make sure they are group on proper field.

Generating unicode for arabic character similar to Character map in c#

I need to generate Unicode characters for Arabic character. Similar to character map dialog in windows os.
Example: \uFE97 represent 'ﺗ' and \uFEAE represent 'ﺮ'
in the character map.

I am not sure the result of string "القائمة" should be, but if I split the string to one char one by one, I could not get the result which you expected.
Could you share us the some key code about your project? It would be better if you could convert “\u0627\uFEDF\uFED8\uFE8E\uFE8B\uFEE4\uFE94” to string to see if the result was equal with “القائمة”

[Beginner] build a calendar app for each team using out of the box calendar app

First of all, I'm a beginner in sharepoint and need some advice in the following case:
We want to to create a calendar for different teams. Each team has it's own calendar to schedule a standby (all day event) for each day. In the overall view we want to see for each team the schedule who's standby (overlay). My preferred solution is to create
a new site and use the calendar app and customize this a little bit.
I tried to do this by creating a new calendar app and adding different views for each team. I have set the group calendar option on true so we can add users to each team calendar view. Unfortunately, I have understand that it is not possible to set default
users for each view. I´m also looking how I can set a default title filled with the name of the view when you add a schedule, I tried to do this with a calculated value but I can´t get that working. An other question is, can I set permissions on each team
view who can edit the schedule or is it better to create for each team an own list? For example, I want to disable that team members can edit schedules in the past, only schedules in the future is editable.
I'm not not sure if the out of the box calendar app is suitable for my case or I have to look futher in other solutions. Any advice is welcome!

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to build a calendar app which can add default users for each calendar view and set default title when adding schedule.
For adding default users in each group calendar view using custom JavaScript, here is a detailed code demo for your reference:

For adding default title when adding schedule, I suggest you can add some Jquery to fill the title textbox when the schedule new form loading. You can add the Jquery under PlaceHolderMain tag of calendar new form page.

For setting permission in the each team view, I suggest you can check the schedule end time in the edit form, if the schedule time is before the current date time, then you can set all the fileld read only using Jquery.

When opening Firefox, it opens 4 separate FF programs with a blank page on each program.

I have my Firefox home page set up as Yahoo! Mail, but when I first open Firefox I receive 4 separate Firefox sessions with a blank page for each session. When I click on Tools/Options, it says Yahoo! Mail is still my home page.

SAX DefaultHandler: calls characters() twice for each (atom) element?

I use sax to parse an xml file. i subclassed org.xml.sax.helpers.DefaultHandler and overwrote the corresponding methods like characters(). the problem is, that this method is called twice for each element value if this element has no subelements. example:
<collection>
<one>1</one>
<two>2</two>
<three>3</three>
</collection>
with this xml, characters is called once for <collection> but twice for each <one>, <two>, <three> element. why? is this a bug or is this customizable?

Look at what data is being passed to the method. The SAX specification allows the parser to pass the text node to characters() in pieces, it doesn't require it to pass the entire text in one call. And parsers do take advantage of that, in various ways. You'll have to assemble the data in the characters() method, but you can't assume you have all the data until endElement() is called.
I wouldn't expect your example to be a problem, but I suppose it's just an example and not the actual data you were processing.
Or possibly you are getting calls for the whitespace? In your example, your collection element has seven children: a text node containing a newline character, a one element, another newline text node, a two element, another newline text node, and so on.
