Dreamweaver Air Extension

Hi I have tried unsuccessfully to add the air extension .mxp file (by double clicking on the file in finder) to Dreamweaver CC on an imac running Mavericks - everytime DW crashes - I have unistalled and reinstalled Dreamweaver but thi sdoes not help. Any suggestions? I was hoping to use the air extension to creat an app that utilises sqlite.

I don't know this error. I guess it is probably because
Dreamweaver could not create the certificate file. In that case,
you might change to another directory to output the certificate.

Website image and zip file download links not working in Dreamweaver Air application

Hi
I have successfully created and AIR app for an existing business website using the Dreamweaver AIR Extension. The site works very well in all respects except for the part where we have high resolution images and zip files available for download. The download links refuse to do anything, and right-click (PC) / ctl-click (Mac) does nto work either.
I suspect this may be an AIR sandbox/security issue but am I correct and what can I do to fix it?

If i use IE or FF ,the browser will open a small window to allow me select whether open or save the file.So can anybody give me some advice.Is it because air using webkit engine and the engine does not do this kind of job?

Where can I get the Adobe AIR extension for Dreamweaver CS5.5 ??

I am either going insane or all the links I can find are broken.
http://www.adobe.com/products/air/tools/ajax/ redirects to http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air.html, which has no apparent download link.
Any help most welcome.

I have been looking for the past couple of weeks. Some dweeb at adobe decided to redirect all URLs that had "air" in them to the stupid dev site that of course has no information on it about dreamweaver (except to buy it). It would be logical to put something big on the right side that says "if you got here to download the adobe air extension for dreamweaver it has been moved to here..... I guess nobody is monitoring the thousands of redirects from the air/tools/ajax and might say.. hey I should fix that.....

All AIR extensions for dreamweaver lead to nowhere.

A few weeks ago I installed a new copy of cs5 web pro and went to download the air extension for dreamweaver. I have found several links but it appears that someone running the adobe site had decided to redirect any URL with AIR in it to the new air developer site. unfortunatly there is no place on that site that links to the mxp file for the adobe air extension for dreamweaver... Can someone fix it so we developers that have paid BIG bucks for this product can download the extension? its pretty poor management to break a link in a product to a website. You guys should have a set of LINKs that ar on a NO TOUCH lis for your web host management team.

Adobe Air Extension for DWCC

Hi,
I've checked multiple forums to find an answer for the Air extension.
I use Dreamweaver (DW) CC, and I have extension manager (EM) CC as well.
The problem is, if I run the EMCC from creative cloud, the air extension is non-existent there under DW section.
And if I try to use the mxp file I found from other thread, it will keep saying it requires DW10 or later.
Does Adobe still have this extension available for DW?
I've been searched for quite a while and about to give up now...

Download the Adobe AIR extension for Dreamweaver CS4 (MXP, 42.55MB)をダウンロードし、
extension managerCS4をダブルクリックでインストールすると、
「メニューを更新できません。拡張機能はインストールされません。」
と出ます。
Download the Adobe AIR installer はインストール済みです。
どうしたら、拡張機能をインストールできますか？

Installing Air extension

Air extension in CS6 on Windows 8 can't find java runtime

I loaded the air extension to Dreamweaver CS6 running on Windows 8. The AIR commands show up in menus but when I try to use them I get a message to load java runtime environment 1.5.0 or later. Java 1.7.25 is installed on my machine. Any ideas?

Found an answer. A friend who has Java experience updated the PATH on my machine and now it runs just fine. The details of how to do it are beyond my comprehension.

In this log file I can see you are getting Error : U44M1P7 while updating the software
This Error comes where language packs for software are not installed properly on the machine.
I would suggest to update Adobe Application manager from
Windows : http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773
MAC: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774
then try to install the update if still you are not able to update software and getting same error then uninstall all the Adobe software selecting remove prefernces.
After uninstalling the software run the Adobe Cleaner tool(http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and remove the leftovers.

Local videos not playing in Flash/Dreamweaver Air app

Hi there. I am having trouble playing local video from an Air app created from Dreamweaver. I have found many similar [posts, but most are about Flex and so on. I need some help getting this working form Flash and Dreamweaver.
What I did wat create a jQuery site that uses Flash to play videos. It will be packaged as a desktop Air app using the Dreamweaver Air plugin.
From advice that I got here (http://soenkerohde.com/2008/06/playing-local-files-with-air/)
I started a new Air Project in Flash as suggested. Using an Air flash app makes more sence I guess, but I still need to imbed it into an HTML framework.
Here is the code I am using:

Instead of using the File object, try URLRequest instead:
