Dreamweaver application resizes when I move the window

Whenever I move the Dreamweaver application window, it resets to a default sized blank window with just a border. In order to use it again I have to minimize, then restore, then it still is the same default size with just the menu. It has minimized any of the MDI windows that I have set. (Files, CSS Styles, etc.)
I am running Windows 7 64 bit Edition, Service Pack 1. With 16 meg RAM
This started with CS5.5. Today I upgraded to CS 6, still an issue.

Still default size, with my MDI windows minimized.
the image sizes do not reflect the change in the actual application window size.
Any searches pull up information on how to minimize a window with code.
Oh yeah, I have already tried the delete the WinFileCache file fix. (Actually, I renamed it, but same thing.)
Anybody else have the issue? Any fixes?

OK, I was taking a further look at this and found out a couple of things.
First Dreamweaver wasn't the only application that was affected. Photoshop Elements 10 also displayed this quirk.
After moving it looked like this:
If I moved the window again, the menu options would return, but the tool bar would be gone.
So I started looking at the different display options. Nothing from the Windows options made any difference.
Then I started looking at the specific options for the card. It is an NVidia card that came with its own control panel, nView. Which was enabled.
I disabled the nView Desktop Manager, and the issue was gone. For both applications.
There is an option to set specific settings for specific applications and I tried setting different things for Dreamweaver, but I could not get consistant results. One I did see that helped once, was the option along the line of "Allow individual Title Bar Buttons". But after rebooting, it didn't work the same.
So although it may not be completely Adobe Dreamweaver and Elements, or NVidia at fault, it isn't really an OS issue either. Turns out they do not play well together.
As a side note, I was having issues with my windows wallpaper images always going into 'Stretch' mode on start up. Even though I had a theme set up to 'Fit' the image position. By disabling the nView Desktop Manager, this issue went away too.

Check if you have multiple Java versions installed on your computer.
Try clean boot http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
Also i would suggest uninstall security software and install it back.
Currently you may use F9 key to restore Menu bar.

Why does an image in Preview disappear when I move the window from my laptop screen to my external monitor?

I have an external 23" Cinema display connected to my MacBook Pro. When I open a file in Preview, moving it from either screen that it was originally on (laptop>LCD or LCD>laptop), the image disappears or "blanks". Only zooming in on the image will re-display it. Any ideas?

Click on the Hot Corners.. button and look at the four definitions. In the picture below, if you moved the cursor to the right top of the screen, it would slide all the applications off the screen as you describe and show the desktop. Set it to "-" to deactivate.

Try these in order testing your system after each to see if it's back to normal:
1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
    b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
     Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the
     COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and
     after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears.
     Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
3. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
     Reinstall the 10.9.2 update: OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 Update (Combo).
4. Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks: Reboot from the Recovery HD. Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks from the Utilities menu, and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
Reinstall the 10.9.2 update: OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 Update (Combo).

What is the Output option that you are selecting for the transfer of the Elements Organizer 12/12.1 slideshow to Premiere Elements 12/12.1 Editor?
If you are using Edit with Premiere Elements output option, are you using the Premiere Elements command to break apart the Elements Organizer slideshow and then applying rotation to the portrait files? Or, it is this more than just a photo rotation matter?
More on this in the morning.

With Firefox 35.0 maximized, my windows taskbar does not appear when I move the curser ot the bottom of the screen

With all other applications running maximized (full screen) the Windows taskbar pops up from the bottom when the cursor is moved to the bottom of the screen, but now with Firefox. Why not, and how do I fix this?

Are you in fullscreen or maximized for Firefox?
There is an entry that show toolbars when in fullscreen you can check if its on in the about:config page, but if you have never been there before do not worry about this troubleshooting step. (I do not know if you have or not :-))
With those hypothesis it is possible to see if this happens in Safe Mode if you have any add ons or extensions that may affect this feature: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]]

Firefox is opening new windows automaticly most often when I move the curser

Firefox has started opening new windows that show redirect. This happens most often when I move the curser. The problem is intermittent as it seems to stop when you close all the windows at times. Then when you go to a new page it starts opening new windows again.

If this affects a lot of sites randomly, there's a good chance it is caused by an add-on. Try this:
Disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable (or if obviously bad, remove).
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Does that shut down the extra windows?
Also recommended:
(1) Visit the Windows Control Panel, Uninstall a Program. Click the "Installed on" column heading to group by date. Then look for any recent unrecognized programs that may have snuck in as part of a bundle. Remove everything you do not know to be useful and trustworthy.

I'm trying to do a test automation using codedUI. This is a Windows application based on WPF.
I recorded the events and when playback I get a error.
There are two datetime pickers in the same form and when doing a playback one is picking up the date correctly where as the other datetimepicker is throwing the error as below.
Window '' is blocking the control 2015. Please move the window '' or make the control 2015 visible and retry the action. I tried even manually selecting some offset points but still the calendarfield shows empty.

Why can't I see the changes in my image when I move the sliders in LR's Develop Module

When I use the quick develop tools in the LR 5.3 Library module, I see the changes in the selected image. When I switch to the Develop Module, when I move the sliders for the different tools, nothing happens to my image. When I go back to the Library module, I see the changes, but not in the Develop Module. Why is this happening? I have a PC running Windows 7. I have 30 gigs of space on my C drive. I recently updated my LR to 5.3 and subscribed to CC. I uninstalled the LR program and reinstalled it from the cloud. Same problem.

When I move the mouse quickly, mostly over a link on a page, a small black square flashes

When I move the cursor (mouse) quickly, a small black square quickly flashes where my mouse is, mostly it happens when I mouseover a link fast. The square is sometimes a rectangle and is sometimes different sizes and length's, but it is never HUGE. Mainly it is around 70x70 pixels big or less. I can't really remember when this started happening exactly and I have no idea what this is or if its virus related, but I do full scans with Avast and Malwarebytes all the time and they come up clean.
I've never done this Mozilla Help thing before, so forgive me if I fill in the wrong details...

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

ITunes entry disappears when I move the cursor - up to 3 times

A small but nevertheless annoying problem - very often an entry typed into iTunes e.g. Album or Genre will disappear when I move the cursor. This will happen up to three times in a row. Apple's new default (since at least a couple of OS releases back) is to have it off so OS X matches the behavior of an iPhone or iPad.
I almost never need a scroll bar, and when I do, I just move over to the edge of the window when scrolling and a larger scroll bar appears.
Yes, for the most part, users don't really need the scroll bar. That's what the scroll wheel on almost all mice is for. Saves the trip over to bar to physically grab and move it. But, I do like it on all the time regardless. That way (especially with a long article) I can just take a quick glance over to the bar to see about where I am on the page (a third of the way down? halfway?). Otherwise, I have to move the page just to make it appear to give me the same information.

Flash quits when you close the window

Why does Flash CS5 quit when you close the window you were working in? It has to restart every time you close and open a file.

This doesn't seem to be a crashing issue. The program seems to be designed like Windows, wherein the application quits when you close the last open window. This is incredibly annoying and completely unacceptable.
