Dreamweaver CC 2014.1 tables aren't editable.
So, i've downloaded the update for dreamweaver cc. Since the download i've noticed that I have no button to let me preview my html in a browser. I have to go to file > preview in browser, instead of having a shortcut icon I could use. I've also noticed that there is no way to edit my tables. I can't drag them and change there sizes like previous versions. They're stationary and it's very frustrating.

Finally getting it right. Previous versions did not use CSS to style the tables, now you are forced to. Thank you Dreamweaver Team.

I am using a template for my website in Dreamweaver CC 2014. I installed a lightroom 5 web gallery into the template. I have an editable region where my main content goes that is where I inserted the web gallery. The main content css height is set at Auto. The web gallery shows up but only the very top half of the gallery. The whole web gallery wont push down the main content section so you can see the whole gallery. If I set the main content at height 700px then the whole gallery shows up, but because this is a template it screws up all my other pages because of the height setting. I need that to be variable. What am I doing wrong?
Most likely that main content area also contains a floated element and you are not clearing the float before closing the main content container. Floated elements are removed from the normal flow. Being removed from the normal flow means that a container for that floated element does not regard the floated element as being in it, and will collapse around its non-floated content. To prevent this from happening you should clear the float before closing the container, e.g.,

<img src="very-tall-image.jpg" style="float:left">
<p>some content</p>
</div>
This div will only be as tall as the paragraph tag requires, thus truncating the image.

Note: On the Creative Cloud application, the version appears as 2014.1. Use the Update button next to it.
If you do not see an update in Creative Cloud application, quit the application. Click the wheel icon on top and select Quit. Relaunch the application and the update should be listed now. To make sure that you have installed the latest update, open Dreamweaver after the update is complete (took me around 5 minutes over a high speed connection today), and select Help > About. You should see this screen. Ensure that the version is listed as 2014.1.1. The build number for Windows is 6981 and for Mac OS is 6982.
Tip: You can launch Dreamweaver directly from the Creative Cloud application by clicking the name of the software.

Latest version of Dreamweaver CC 2014 keeps freezing or crashing?
Every time I open up Dreamweaver to edit a website it is either very slow and unresponsive or freezes completely requiring a force quit. I am getting the same problem with any site I try to open the last site I was trying to work on only had 5 pages so i don't think it is due to the size of the website?
Here is the crash report for the last crash after only 3 seconds of opening DW. and for the last hour not yet had any luck in getting any work completed.

Dreamweaver Template: circle with diagonal line in editable region, but can still edit
Since upgrading to Dreamweaver CC 2014, for only one of dozens of clients, in a Template, I get a circle with diagonal line in editable region, but I can still edit it, I just can't click to the spot that I want to edit, I have to navigate there with the up down left and right arrows on my keyboard. And, I created a new Template and it didn't happen, until I "got" a file, and now it happens in the new Template too. What's going on?
Sorry, I'm new here. Do you mean like a screen shot? I just thought maybe somebody had seen this before and would just tell me "you need to uncheck the something or other"

Dreamweaver CC 2014.1 document toolbar.
I just updated to Dreamweaver CC 2014.1. In the previous version, there was a text box on the Document toolbar where you could type in the document title. That box is not there in CC 2014.1. How can I replace it?
I think there's a problem with your Template.dwt. I don't see an editable region for the <title> tag. It should resemble this:

<title>Untitled Document</title>
<!-- InstanceEndEditable -->
Title field is on your properties panel but it's above the target field. I think the reason it's empty is because of above problem with your main Template.dwt.

Dreamweaver CC 2014 has stopped working
I've looked through the discussions for an answer and followed all suggestions. Using Dreamweaver CC 2014 on a PC running Windows 7 it is constantly going non-responsive or crashing.
This only appears to happen when in the Split Code=>Live mode. Doesn't seem to matter what site I'm working on or how simple the code is. I'll edit the code, the live view didn't refresh so I click the refresh icon and . . . frozen.

I downloaded Dreamweaver CC 2014.1, started using it but cannot find Show Fluid Grid Layout Guides button, Resize LI.link sizing handle and 'move up a Row' arrow. Where can I find them?
You have the latest version (CC 2014.1 or 2014.1.1) in which the interface condenses Design View with Live View buttons in normal layouts. See screenshot.
However, in FGLayouts, Live View is the only option which poses some editing problems and has been highly criticized.
Is there any way to display the Design View in fluid grid pages?

Where are the Jquery Mobile starter options in Dreamweaver CC 2014 ?
In Dreamweaver CC 2014 the Mobile Starter in Page samples seems to be missing. I have it in Dreamweaver CS 6 but the Jquery mobile starter pages aren't in the CC version.
In the Adobe tutorials on Adobe.tv you say to use the mobile starter page but it is not in my version

"Code & Design" and "Code & Live" view problem i am getting in Dreamweaver CC 2014
Please anyone help me.
I have 2 webpages, one is with 12 columns fluid grid based and another is without fluid grid based.
Both are open in same site folder in Dreamweaver CC 2014.
I want to resize/edit my fluid grid div column in design view.
But i m not getting the proper menu (view-->Code and Design)
why the problem is happening ?
If my non-fluid page is active for edit purpose than i am getting the "View"-->"Code and Design"

but i am getting "View"-->"Code and live"

Provide "Design View" for Fluid Grid Webpages
It's an "improvement" made to the October release to promote more people to use Live View editing in FGLayouts. As we're finding out, the removal of Design View in FGLayouts is severely impacting people's workflows.

Jquery widget equivalent to spry dataset for dreamweaver CC 2014.1?
I built a website a while back with either CS4 or CS5. I used spry datasets to pull menu items into the tables on the website. I did some research and found that spry widgets were pulled from the CC suites for some reason and replaced with jquery widgets. I'm not 100% sure why adobe did this, but what jquery widget equivalent is there for the spry datasets in dreamweaver cc 2014.1?

Color Picker in Dreamweaver CC 2014 - Hex field greyed out
The input color field in Dreamweaver CC 2014 is greyed out. Cannot seem to
insert a hex code.If I have opened the colour picker, the natural assumption is that I want to edit the colour. I should be able to do that using all of the tools, not just the sliders. If I open the colour picker in Photoshop, both the value fields and the sliders are available. Why should Dreamweaver work differently?
Sure David, if you open the color picker in the CSS Designer the value field is available for typing/editing.
But the thing with color picker in Code View is that we can have the cursor focus only one place at a time.
Notice that while the color picker is up in Code View, you can still type in whatever color values in your code, while the picker shows you the exact color.

ThanksI'm afraid not. You'll need to finish building your CSS Layout and save your document as a Template.
Add Editable Regions for things that will change from page to page.
Save & Close Template.dwt.
File > New Page from Template.
Hit Create button.
Save.
This new child page should contain markers for each Editable Region you defined in step #1.
