Dreamweaver cc 2014.1 will not open the html files from my business catalyst site

I just imported my business catalyst site (originally built with Muse) into dreamweaver. the whole site downloaded as expected and dreamweaver maintains that the 2 folders have the same files. When I click to open any file in Dreamweaver it appears to open and then close the file immediately giving no indication of a problem.
Anyone come across this and or have any idea what could be happening? I can open these files in Text Wrangler.
I have followed the steps of deleting preferences etc that I have come across in my search today. None of those helped.
Files from other sites seem to be opening fine.

The only files I am encountering this issue with are the ones I downloaded from BC into a brand new folder. Further, any new files that I create in Dreamweaver and then save to the local root folder of the site I downloaded from BC will no longer open after I close them. I can open all of the files I downloaded from BC in text wrangler with no problem. I have about 10 other sites I am having no issues with what so ever.
I am considering this an isolated issue between Dreamweaver and the folder that I imported my BC site to as I have never had any other issue with using Dreamweaver.

I am trying to install new CAD software, but the computer will not open the ".dmg" file so the installation can begin. H E L P ! ! !

I am trying to install ViaCAD v7.2 for Mac, but when I try to open the ".dmg" file, it will not open, so the installation never begins.

I was trying to find the system specifications ViaCAD v7.2 but wasn't too successful. However I found the App Store has V8.0.2, have you already purchased 7.2? If so perhaps you could request an exchange for a more current version.

Firefox will not open my html files

In the finder, when I double click on an html file, it should open up the file in Firefox.
On my new macbook pro, after using the migration assistant, this feature did not transfer properly. I know how the "open with" system works on get info. When I change html to open with Safari, it works fine. When I change it back to Firefox, no luck.
When I double click on an html file, it opens Firefox, but the page does not load.
Other troubleshooting I have done:
Download and reinstall the latest version of Firefox
Repair permissions
Delete the old Firefox profile, and start a completely new one
Restarted several time
Done all the Apple software updates
Any other suggestions for me?

Maybe this is something where either have to rebuild launch services; or there are programs or links that seem to default on their own to only use Safari (hard coded, they assume it will always be there, and will always work).
I wonder if there is an add-on system preference where you could go back to the old Internet control panel (I know someone tried to do that but gave up after it got harder with each new OS) where defaults for all file types and applications use to reside, email, ftp, http, gopher, and throw in .docx and everything but kitchen sink, maybe!)

Photoshop CC 2014 will not open LR 5 files

Mac OS X Yosemite: I have weird hiccup cropping up and I'm not sure what to do about it. I'm reviewing and editing in LR 5, and when I choose "Edit in" or "command E" Photoshop CC 2014 opens immediately but the file is never actually opens in the program. I've restarted the computer, updated through Creative Cloud, and repaired permission on the system drive. It worked this morning, but no longer this evening.
In essence: LR 5.5 will act like it is "sending" the file to PS CC2014. Photoshop pops open immediately. File never loads.
Weird.

I am able to open the file directly. Unfortunately this is less than an ideal workflow, as any images opened from LR are saved back into LR - thus making to far easier to export final selects.
I decided to uninstall CC2014 completely, and then re-install from CC. This solved the problem, although I have no idea why.

Launch the Quicken application and try to open the file from there, if you haven't already. If that fails, and a simple restart of the computer doesn't help, try reinstalling the application. If that doesn't cure the problem, I would suggest you take this up in the Quicken Community:

I have updated my PSE9 and still can not open the RAW files from my new camera, I get an error?

I bought a new camera (Canon T5i) and took photos in RAW, tried to open them in PSE9 and they wouldn't open. I got the following error...

I have been to the link & downloaded what update it had. I have also done the available updates on my PSE9 and I am still getting this error messge. When I called Canon regarding this they said I needed to contact Adobe.
Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong or not doing so I can open these files???

The T5 is supported by Camera RAW 8.4 which needs PSE12. You can use the Canon software to convert RAW to TIF or the Adobe DNG Converter. The converter will convert the CR2 files to Adobes RAW DNG format that will open in PSE9's RAW processor. http://www.adobe.com/uk/products/photoshop/extend.displayTab2.html#downloads.

My apple TV will not play the m4v files from my pinnacle dazzle.

I recently purchased the Pinnacle Dazzle analog to digital converter. It states that it can convert an analog file to a apple TV compatable file. m4v I converted some analog files and found that they play fine on itunes but when I stream them to the apple TV they run a few frames and then stall like they are trying to get more information. I tried this with several types of videos and have the same problem...does anyone out there have a similar problem.

The fact that files play in itunes and not on the Apple tv indicates there are two areas to consider here. The files may be encoded in an incompatible format for the Apple tv or there are problems in the movie atoms caused by improper encoding.
When you create .m4v files from your A/D converter do you use an Apple tv preset or do you need to input your own settings.
What happens if you choose to convert these files to an Apple tv format in itunes.

Yosemite 10.10 is a beta release. Why on Earth are you using a beta OS on your work box?
Try installing on a stable operating system for which CC was built.

GARAGEBAND WILL NOT RECOGNIZE THE MP3 FILES FROM MY EDIROL RECORDER? HELP!!

I have recently recorded some MP3 files on my Edirol R-09 recorder, and when I try to import them int garageband, it acts like it is loading them, but they do not appear, even if I try to put them in from iTunes, where I can play them and hear them, no problem. I can drag in any music MP3's into Garageband and they load, but not the audio recordings I am making, I am stumped, I would appreciate any help I can get. FireFox 33.1 will not display the PDF file from Bank online site after 33.1

I asked this question in an unrelated support ticket so I want to give more detail here. I have tried uninstalling Adobe reader and reinstalling it and it did not help. This was working before with all the exact same addins I had before. I called the Bank and asked if they had any problems and they say no. I can go to the Firefox PDF display for this file and click on download the PDF then double click it in Windows explorer and Adobe reader comes up and displays the file just fine. Don't mind doing that for now. What happens is the bank loads the file then Adobe reader displays with a white screen and a little circle going round and round, like a video is trying to play, and it just sits there forever. I never see the file contents. Anyway I hope your have a good of a day as I am and I know it get better. Thanks Firefox programmers for such a wonderful program.
Update: While I was writing this I remembered to go into Firefox options, then Applications, and wouldn't you know it, a PDF document was set to "Preview in Firefox". I changed that to Adobe reader and now it works just fine. Guess there's something wrong with the Preview code in Firefox. So I'm happy now. Hope this helps someone.

Yes, the built-in PDF viewer is a work in progress. Glad you found a workaround, or got back to your preferred configuration, depending on how you look at it.

Cannon 6D requires CS6 with ACR 7.3. You either have to upgrade or convert to DNG files.

I updated the numbers APP on my iPad to 2.1(1129) and my Macbook numbers 2.1(436) will not open the project. The error is "index.html is missing".
I think I am having compatibility issues also with my numbers files but the symptom started last week. I have a numbers project/file that has been shared between my iPad and Macbook for several months so I would believe there is no compatability issue with the content. I updated the Numbers APP on my iPad to 2.1(1129) and my Macbook (numbers is current) on 2.1(436) will not open it. I used email the iTunes to transfer the project file. The error is "index.html is missing".
I used ftp to get both a previous file that will open and the new one that will not open onto a server at work and unzipped them. The file format is very different. Indeed the old one has an index.html and the new one has an index directory with a set of files. I know that you can not believe everything you read online but I did see a blurb that Numbers 3 does not need the index.html file but has no other specifics on the files format.
Am I a victim of the 2.1 verson on my iPad not being compatable with the 2.1 version on my Macbook?
Am I now forced to buy a new iWorks or Numbers 3 becasue I updated the iPad APP?
I wanted to find the answer before I purchased a new Numbers if that was not the problem.

Thank you for the insight that the new iPad 2.1 version requires Numbers3 BUT that is not a conclusion I would have jumped to being both are 2.1? Go figure.
You however I do not believe you are correct with the conclusion that I can get a Numbers upgrade. I am on OS X 10.6.8 so not only do I need a new OS, I need a new macbok to run it, according to the APP store it requires OS X 10.9 or greater.
I would like to have known that Numbers 2.1 iOS is not compatable with numbers 2.1 OS X and not taken the APP update.

What exactly are you double-clicking?
Once software is installed on your computer, you can usually launch by clicking the icon on your computer's desktop. Or by looking inside Start > Programs (Win) or Applications Folder (Mac).
