Dreamweaver CC 2014 hang / crashes after closing
I cant close Dreamweaver CC 2014. Whenever I try to close the programm the Dreamweaver-Screen was frozen and the programm crashed. I have to quit it than by killing the task.
I had similar problems with Indesign CC 2014. I also cant close that programm and have still the same problems.
I tried to reinstall - but it doesnt help.
Windows 7 64 Bit, Nvidia Graphic Card (newest offivial driver) Geforce GTX 660, 16 GB Ram, Intel i7
The "older" CC-Versions worked perfect! All the trouble starts with the "CC 2014"-Versions.
Thanks for help and ideas.
Greetings, FRank
Hi Frank,
Can you please collect the logs and send it to me at [email protected] To collect crash logs, please follow below steps :
Create the following registry entries at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting[LocalDumps]

Add two registry values under LocalDumps as
Name: DumpFolder
Type: REG_EXPAND_SZ
Data:%LOCALAPPDATA%[CrashDumps]
Name:DumpType
Type:REG_DWORD
Data:1
When the application crashes you will find the crash dump at C:\Users[UserName]\AppData\Local\CrashDumps

From Trial to Purchase | CC 2014 Apps Crashing after startup
All Creative Cloud (2014) apps crashing immediately after opening
I was running Premiere Pro CC as a trial, when the trial ended, I opted to get the whole Adobe CC 2014 catalog for a cool $50/month.
I installed the apps I needed, updated my Nvidia graphics drivers but when opening anything (Premiere, Photoshop, Audition, After Effects CC 2014) the apps would just crash. No error message, just open, I can see the program, and then it closes.
Solutions I've tried:
Uninstalling / Reinstalling: I've removed all Adobe products and used the official CC Cleaner Tool and reinstalled using the Cloud App. Same problems; crash upon opening.
Signing in and out of the Cloud App after reading somewhere it might be an account bug. Crash upon opening.
Signing in with a different account thinking my account used to purchase is bunk. Crash upon opening.
The usual restart, update graphics drivers, virus check and light, frustrated punches to my monitor. I've tried everything short of reinstalling the OS (which I'd rather not do).
Running any app as admin / current OS compatibility mode. Crash upon opening.
Things worth noting:
Another computer can log in and use the account's apps fine, seems to be specifically my work computer which has the problem.
I had separate versions of all apps before like Premiere CC (no 2014) and After Effects CC (no 2014).
Computer Specs:
Windows 8.1 Pro
GeForce GTX 650 Ti (driver version 340.52, current as of 8.02.14)
AMD Phenom II X6 1075T
16GB RAM
If anyone has an solutions, I'm all ears. Like I said, I don't particularily want to reinstall my OS so I'm hoping for a fix that might help me stay on my feet.
Thanks,

Everytime this new release closes, it hangs and crashes. Happens on all my computers, thus something in Firefox 33.1.1. There are dozens and dozens of crashes since this new release. My last crash was in 2013 and prior to that, 2012.

Illustrator CC hangs/crashes upon closing
Every time I go to quit out of Illustrator CC it hangs, lags or crashes, and 9 times out of 10 I have to go to task manager to force quit. Has anyone experienced the same? I'm not sure what system specs I need to post so if someone could point me in the right direction. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit.
Hi Mikey,
Can you please follow these steps to collect the crash dump file:
1) When the dialog "Adobe Illustrator CC 2014 has stopped working" get displayed --- please do not dismiss it.
2) Launch the Task Manager and under the "Apps" section right click on "Adobe Illustrator CC 2014" and select the option "Create dump file"
3) Wait for the dumping process to get completed. The "Dumping Process" dialog will display you a path location where the newly created dump file "Illustrator.dmp" will be saved.
4) Share this "Illustrator.dmp" file using We Transfer or Drop-box with me at [email protected]
Please note that the size of this file will be greater than 500MB.
With Best Regards,

Why does Dreamweaver CC (& 2014) keep crashing (not responding)
Since I've gone with CC and now upgraded to 2014 it constantly crashes - like every 10 seconds.
It says it's not responding.. but then you wait about 30 seconds and it then resumes - workflow is a nightmare.
It tends to be in code view making simple edits to code, saving, or even just placing a cursor in a different point.
I tried changing preferences, nothing works.
Please help.Hi bjunior,
You need to add these entries in registry.
1. Go to run, type regedit and enter. This will open Registry Editor.
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting->Right Click->New->Key. New key named "New Key #1" will be created. Rename it to LocalDumps.
3. Add two entries LocalDumps
3.1. Right click on LocalDumps->New->Expandable String Value (REZ_EXPAND_SZ). Double click on the entry created and add value name : DumpFolder and
value data : %LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps.
3.2 Right click on LocalDumps->New->DWORD (32 bit) Value(REG_DWORD). Double click on the value created and add value name : DumpType and value data :1
Next time when the application crashes you will find the crash dump at C:\Users[UserName]\AppData\Local\CrashDumps. Dumps will be created only in case of crash and not hang.
Thanks!

Illustrator CC 2014.1 crashes after interface loads up (Windows 8.1)
I was using illustrator cc 2014. It was working fine. But then i updated it to 2014.1. Now illustrator crashes everytime the interface loads up. It shows no error or anything. It loads up fine & crash. I even wiped out c drive & re-install windows. Still not working. Weird thing is that it is working fine on my second computer. I uninstalled it from my main pc & installed it on 2nd one. It works great. It only crashes on my main one. Please help!
Hi Felippe,
If it is Illustrator CC 2014.1(18.1.0) and you are using Extensis Suitecase Fusion then please try following solution given in the article.
http://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/illustrator-cc-20141-crash-launch.html
Here is the Extensions Suitcase 5 update which I believe will solve the issue.
http://www.extensis.com/support/product-support/suitcase-fusion-5/
Hope this helps.
Please let me know if this is not the case.

Application crashes after closing LabVIEW instance with Scilab 5.2.2
I use LV 8.21 with the LabVIEW to Scilab Gateway software Version 1.1 (new version from NI homepage)
I have Scilab Version 5.2.2 installed. We will do some calculation with the LabVIEW Scilab script node.
Mainly use a call "exec (functionA,-1) Scilab script node. The functionA is a scriptfile outside of the application.
So far everything is working fine, I can build a LabVIEW application with the application builder.
If I run the application the calculation inside the Scilab script node are proceeding; I can call
it many times in a loop without no problem.
But if I close the instance (the VI with the Scilab script node inside) the application crashes.
The same problem I have in the LabVIEW development environment
Is there a way to "unload" Scilab before I close the VI without a crash. After the Scilab
calculation I have to close the calling VI and call some other VIs for further calculation
(but this VIs have no Scilab call)
I tried with the "exit" and "quit" command in Scilab script node, no success
any suggestion
Attachments:
scilab.GIF 5 KBHello
thanks for the advice. I tried with version 5.1.1 ... but no success!
So I went straight back to version 4.1.1 and it works fine, of course I had to remove the comments from the script node
So fare I can work with this version.
So what are the time schedule to fix this problem? It is a very useful tool an I would like to use the latest version of scilab and not an old version.
Thank you -
Firefox tabs hang around after closing them
When I have multiple tabs open, and I close a tab, the tab browser still shows the page of the closed tab, while the tab is removed from the tab bar. The only way of changing the view is to navigate to the next tab. If there is a flash playing on the page, it continues to play until it's finished, even after you navigate to the next tab.

AE CC 2014.2 crashes after RAM preview.
Hey,
It crashes almost every time after RAM preview. I think it gives an error, but it's buggy and i can't see it correctly. The error box, the timeline, effects tab etc goes completely black. Can't close the program from anywhere else, only from task manager. And what's even more weird - it doesn't let me do a print screen of the crashed UI. What is there to be done?
Can't imagine it's because of the computer. I've got 32gb of RAM, 4gb graphic card with CUDA, i7. 2-3 months old, works perfect with other programs. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!Does it do it when your RAM preview with just a solid in your project, and nothing else?

Everything is working fine (save, export ...) so I am wondering why the error appears.
The computers have all Windows 7 x64 installed and all files are stored on a cifs share (tried with smb versions 1, 2, 2.1).
If the file is closed before exiting the program there is no error, also no problems with files which are stored locally. The error appears also if I try the same with Indesign CS5.5.
Small files <5MB and less other files (I cannot see anything they have in common) work with no errors.
I tried reinstalling CS6, reset the Indesign settings, check for corrupt fonds, check for third party applications which could cause problems but still the same.
Hope someone can help with this.Any third party plugins? I think I've seen this associated with font managers...

Safari/firefox crashes after closing tab or application with video
i've only noticed this on the nytimes.com website after playing their video content (youtube works fine). in both firefox and safari: every single time i play a video, if i pause it or stop it and then try to close the tab it is in or the application, i get the pinwheel and no matter how long i wait for it, it does not come back so i force quit. i've tried updating/reinstalling, but nothing seems to work. also episodes/shows via abc.com do not play at all - tried reinstalling/updating those plugins/apps as well. this is happening on both macbook pro and macbook with updated versions of leopard... thoughts?
