Dreamweaver CC startup issue persists, even after trying 2 proposed fixes

Hi all,
I have a windows 7 pro 64bit machine. About a week ago I got a screen about a trial, even though I have a purchased and installed an official version. I may have pushed the wrong button. Since then DW CC quits/stops/crashes right after startup. I see the opening screen and it`s gone...
Support proposed I try to restore the preferences by applying the following for DW CC: http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/restore-preferences-dreamweaver-cs4-cs5.html It didn`t help.
Then I read the forum suggestion to log off from creative cloud (desktop thingie) and log again: didn`t help either.
Who can give me the definitive hint to tackle this annoying issue?

Regarding Firefox 4 does not ask to save tabs and windows on exit even after trying all suggestions

After installing Firefox 4, Firefox would no longer ask to save tabs and windows on exit. Even after trying all suggestions to resolve the problem, the problem continued. Under the corrupted files suggestion to rename two files, that also did not help. The original file names would be recreated automatically, so both file name versions would exist in that folder. NOTHING resolves the problem.
Unfortunately, since that is a very desirable feature I, like other people who do not like Firefox 4, have gone back to an earlier version of Firefox.

You can set the warn prefs on the about:config page to true via the right-click context menu or toggle with a double left-click.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get back the previous session. 
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page.
Another possibility is to use:
*Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

Please update all of your CS6 applications via the Adobe Application Manager. The updates contain a patch to prevent this issue from happening again.

IPOD WON'T TURN ON EVEN AFTER TRYING TO RESET IT

PLS. HELP! MY IPOD WITH VIDEO WON'T TURN ON EVEN AFTER TRYING TO RESET IT. THE BATTERY IS FULL. IT WILL JUST TURN ON AFTER 24HRS. WHEN THE BATTERY IS DRAINED EVEN WITHOUT USING IT BECAUSE IT IS IN FROZEN STATE. FOR INSTANCE AFTER DISCONNECTING FROM THE COMPUTER SAFELY AFTER CHARGING IT I KEPT IT OPEN BUT WHEN IT TURNED OFF AUTOMATICALLY IT WILL NOT TURN ON.

Ok well, if you do not have the Ipod starter disk, you can’t do very much to save it anymore. It is completely gone.
At this point I would recommend you calling Apple and setting up a repair. I would suggest you buy their warrantee plan, ($50 and good from 2 years) and it starts as soon as you buy the plan, NOT when you got your Ipod. The reason I would suggest that is, because if they deny your problem (like they did to me 5 time before finally replacing mine) it will save you a LOT of money. There may also be further issues as well with your Ipod.

As for “Viruses” I would highly doubt it. Viruses are programs designed to destroy certain parts of computer. Such as, a virus that destroys windows computer, does not do anything to Mac computer. It does not have the same components. The same thing goes for Ipod, PSP, etc. Files my contain viruses in them, but it would not effect the product in most cases. Only if you transfer the file on it to another computer, could it do anything.
Your problem is, most likely your ipod just broke. Or should I say, just stopped working. Ipod’s are notorious at doing such things. Apple will take care of it. BUT GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY! That is the only way to make sure they fix it. It is cheaper than buying a $350-$400 new 60 gig Video.

Twitter favourite notifications persist even after I've tapped them

New to the iPhone and loving it so far - but I have this problem with Twitter notifications. As the subject line says, when someone's favourited my Tweets the notifications persist even after I've tapped them and gone into the twitter app. Other Twitter notifications - mentions etc - disappear as normal, but I have to clear favourite manually. This happens with both the official Twitter app and Tweetbot. Any ideas?

Do you have Location Services set to on? Or just for that one app?

Why is iCal changing the color of my calendars to purple even after trying to change it back to my original color?

iCal is changing the color of my calendars to purple on all my devices even after trying to change it back to the original color. Tried turning them off, same thing.

I, too, had this problem. This is how I fixed it:
Select the calendar that changes color and export the calendar to desktop.
Delete the calendar from ical.
Create new calendar in Ical and name it to your specifications
Go to desk top and choose the calendar you moved and choose to open with Ical. This should import it back to ical.
Go into settings in ical and choose that calendar as your default calendar.
It sounds complicated but is actually easy to do. I hope this helps.

Sessions persist even after logout?

Another problem I am having is that sessions seems to persist even after the portal user has logged out. When I log back in, some settings (which I configured in the previous session) are still set - but I want it reset to the default state.
It holds the session for 1800 seconds (30 minutes) of inactivity before it will clear it... Documentation I read says that the session should be cleared when the user is logged out, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Suggestions as to what I might be doing incorrectly?

Interesting - I didn't know about that (I'm light on the Admin skills of Oracle Portal)...
My logout behaviour is indeed set to "Logout closes both the Login Server application and Single Sign-On sessions" - the single sign-on session duration is 24 hours (but I am not sure it matters).
Something else unusual about the portlet behaviour:
One page I have that has 3 portlets on it (this is a navigation portlet, which remembers your last selected location) - when I logout, that session is cleared (or seems to be)
On the another page I have 2 portlets on it and when I logout, that session is NOT cleared...
Page caching is turned off in both my browser and in Oracle Portal, my portlet has a call to setPageExpires(0)...
The code specifically is:

I get an error message about verifying my subscription when I click and get my subscription verified it ays "OK" and I clock to to application and then it jumps back to verification needed - and so it goes on and on and on and..

IPhoto wont load even after trying to rebuild

My iPhoto '11 won't load even after I have tried rebuilding it by simply resoting and by trying to rebuild it from a back up. Does this mean that I need to manually rebuild it by pressing the option key before opening iPhoto? Will I lose data by doing this?

Make a back up first.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

I get the following error, even after uninstalling per the directions.
Cant find any help, other than the uninstall/reinstall which clearly is not getting rid of the issue.
My windows version is 64 bit, so no idea where this bogus type information is coming from.

Which uninstall directions were you following?
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
Or roll back to the previous build:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

Even after changing the date and stuff , i simply cannot connect to itunes store. P.S i m connected to the internet. Help !

First try this - log out of your account - Settings>Store >Apple ID - sign out. Restart the iPad, Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Sign in again - Settings>Store>Sign in.
It may not work - but it is worth a try.

Not starting on after trying to fix Kernel Panic crash

hello
my macbook pro crash, at first once few days, and now once couple hours.
it notified a KERNEL PANIC, asking to restart the computer. i have done it few times, without doing anything else in order to fix it.
today i tried to fix the kernel panic.
first i tried to click the 'c' during restart, but the system didn't download and got stuck in the apple display, without downloading.
with another restart the system downloaded well.
second i tried to use the COMMANDOPTION+PR click while starting up, and it also got stuck in the apple window display.
but now, also re-restarting, while clicking nothing, the system don't downloading and staying stuck in the apple display.
what can i do to fix it?
i feel lost, would appriciate any help!

yeah, i'm sorry for the mess.. I'll try to make it clear..
i tried the hardware test and it found nothing.
i boot again from the correct disk, which came with my machine. i set the disk utility from it, and repaired the hard disk. it said that my hard disk is ok.
will it be ok now? or is the disk utility was unnecessary because on the hardware test the hardware have found to be ok. and in that case - would i need to re-install the operating system and backup everything first? or can it be ok just now, without more coming kernel panics?

Cannot access the internet after doing proposed fixes

I can't access the internet even after soing the troubleshooting techniques they suggested.

Who is they?
What specific techniques?
What happens when yu try to connect? Error messages?

Permission issues when trying to run any adobe app, tech support guy quit after trying to fix it for 2 hours

I don't know what to do. Any of my adobe apps give the same error:
Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.
The aforementioned tech support person was a test account he made, and spent a long time doing stuff with all the permissions for the adobe files. Eventually he got it so illustrator at least would launch, then immediately crash. He just quit without a work not too long after that.
I'm running windows 7, 64bit. On my own personal computer. Please help
note: I was also having issues with creative cloud, which managed to get fixed

Caps folder contains database file like Cache.db , Media,db , pdb.db which holds the information regarding Apps installation on system and other essential data, in some cases if the files are corrupted , it is essential to remove Caps folder .
Once you delete Caps folder , CC app will list Apps with Install button as it does not have information regarding installation of CC apps as the Media.db file will be deleted along with it.
In this case , it is better that you uninstall the Apps which is not listed as Up to Date ,and being listed with Install button even though it is already installed.
