Dreamweaver CC Trial Installation Failure (correction-running windows 7, not windows 6.1)

Hi,
I am attempting to download the trial version of Dreamweaver CC. I am operating Microsoft Windows 7 (not 6.1 as stated earlier). Just after the download is complete, a message appears saying "We've encountered the following issues: Adobe Application Manager has failed to install". Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks-

Will this http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-creative-cloud-installation-download .html help?

No, you need XCode to compile the app and you need a Developers license to be able to publish.

  • DreamWeaver CS4 trial installation fails

I've got a GoLive9 full Version from my provider which I
    could not install.
So I downloaded the german Dreamweaver CS4 Trial. I deleted
everything on my drives AND registry looking bit like
"dreamweaver"and "golive". Did use utilities and searched by hand.
I started the setup.exe from the download. Unzipping seemed to
work. I found the folder on the desktop (731 MB (766.547.466 Bytes)
    // (19.569 Files / 158 folders). The istallation started
automaticly. After that the behavior is exactly the same for
GoLive9 and CS4: Setup starts "initialisation", comes to about 90%.
For a very short time a screen pops up (I cannot catch it, even
with a CamCorder in front of the sceen) and the installation
freezes. I have to kill the process manually.
None of the other posts here fits to this problem. Anything I
can check or information I could give (log-files if existing ?)

  • Trying to update to iTunes 10.4.1 and I get a message "A network error occured while attempting to read from the file C:|Windows|Installer|iTunes.msi"  Running WIndows 7 with all updates done.  I  have never had an issue with iTunes updating before.  Anyo

iTunes has tried to update itself and runs into an error and tells me to manually install.  When I d/l and run the iTunesSetup.exe file I always encounter the following error message...
"A network error occured while attempting to read from the file C;|Windows|Installer|iTunes.msi" and iTunes does not update to iTunes 10.4.1.
Anyone know what is creating this error message?  Thanks for the help...

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

  • Is my OLE DB installation done correctly on Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit?

I have installed Instant Client thru Instant Client option in Oracle Database 11g Release 2 Client (11.2.0.1.0) for Microsoft Windows (x64) NOT thru Instant Client package.
Then I installed the oledb from 64-bit ODAC 11.2 Release 3 (11.2.0.2.1) for Windows x64 by executing install.bat oledb c:\oracle odac.
I find the following values in registries:
    under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Oracle\KEY_odac:
    NLS_LANG has the value AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252
    OLEDB has the value c:\Oracle\oledb\mesg
ORACLE_GROUP_NAME has the value Oracle - odac
    ORACLE_HOME has the value c:\Oracle
    ORACLE_HOME_NAME has the value odac
    under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Oracle\KEY_OraClient11g_home1:
    NLS_LANG has the value AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252
    ORACLE_GROUP_NAME has the value Oracle - OraClient11g_home1
    ORACLE_HOME has the value C:\Oracle\product\11.2.0\client_1
    ORACLE_HOME_NAME has the value OraClient11g_home1
I wonder whether I have done the installations incorrectly since some keys have different values between the 2 registries.

I have no doubt that the problem in the OS localization.
But, taking into account some facts:
World population is estimated to number 7.126 billion people.
Anglosphere is about 740 million people.
I have not found information about the supported OS languages.
I'm worried about losing my non-English data.
I am for the licensed software, but a trial and registered OS has the same functionality, and displays messages/data in the same way.
I doubt that the OS registration will allow installer to properly finish and even display the error correctly. (Java strings is UTF-based, so, developers should set correct code page. Probably, because system code page can be different with console code page (cp866 for Russian). Current codepage could be view by executing "chcp" in console).
In any case Enterprise-class product should operate correctly on each supported systems, or inform about problems before.

  • Flash CS3 trial installation failure when Flash 8 Pro installed

I am trying to install the trial version of Flash CS3 on my
    PC.
The installation fails to install Flash CS3 or Shared
Components. I currently have a fully licensed copy of Flash 8
Professional installed on the same PC. Is there some reason I can't
    do this?
I am trying to see if we want to upgrade to CS3 by checking
out the improvements/features etc. Sure, I could go ahead and spend
the $200 but we may not need the improvements.
Presumably there would be no problem upgrading to CS3 and
that the problem is caused by the fact I am trying to install a
full version trial rather than an upgrade.
Can anybody confirm that this is the case?
One of the things I wanted to test with CS3 is the
possibility of loading a Flex .swf into a Flash shell to be able to
run as an executable. We are not currently in the market for AIR
which will allow that. We are just trying to add the ability to run
    our code as a stand-alone.
    Any help/comments appreciated.
    TIA
    Colin

Certain components install with no problem. Adobe Bridge CS3,
Adobe Device Central CS3, Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit 2 and Adobe
Flash CS3 Video Encoder are installed. But Flash itself and the
    Shared Components are not installed.
The problem with AIR is that I would need CS3 installed to
use it. So I can't check that out yet either :-(

CS3 will install in an Adobe Folder, so, no conflict.
    2) AIR is free, so not being in the market makes no sense. It

I just downloaded the demo installer from Adobe so how could the installer be pirated or otherwise 'not genuine'?

  • How can I license Dreamweaver my trial installation?

I purchased the Dreamweaver software and my account shows that i have but it will not download. My trial software is still on the machine. What do i do?

    Hi potocki21,
If you have purchased the software then you need not redownload it. Simply enter the purchased Dreamweaver serial number in the installed trial version to activate it.
BTW, What version of dreamweaver are you using and for which OS?

    Hi Goran Edfors,
It seems like the installation package that you are using has gone corrupt. My advise would be to download the product again and try the installation on the target machine.

  • Dreamweaver CS6 trial -- installer wont initialize and the support adviser doesn' reveal any issues.

    I'm using MAC OS X 10.7.5

If the installer is failing to initialize then you will want to review the PDApp.log file to locate the error.  You can find details on how to locate and interpret your installation log files at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.

  • Air 1.51 installation failure. The application could not be installed because the AIR file is damaged

    The error:
The application could not be installed because the AIR file is damaged. Try obtaining a new AIR file from the application author.
is generated when an AIR installation file is lauched from a Samba Network Drive in Vista Utlimate 64. If the install files are copied to a local drive, it installs without incident.

Working with networks drives are never reliable.  Corruption, path problems, networks connections, and privlatges can come in the way of a properly mapped drive.  I think your solution is fairly straight forward.  You need to install your application from a local filesystem, not a mapped network drive.  In the meantime, log a bug report HERE.

  • LabVIEW Run-time Engine 7.1.1 installation failure on Windows 7 SP 1 32-bit

I am attempting an installation of LabVIEW Run-time Engine 7.1.1 on my Windows 7 SP1 32-bit OS computer and the installation hangs.  This happens near the beginning.  Is there a compatibility issue?  The window does not have any error messages.  It says: "Updating System, The features you selected are currently being installed."  The progress indicator blinks periodically, but does not move forward.  Please help.  Thanks!

I recently tried to install the LabVIEW 7.0 runtime engine on my Windows 7 (64 bit) machine to try out an old software. Ended up removing it quickly again, since any LabVIEW version I started up after that, including LabVIEW 2013 showed an installation dialog on startup about (updating installation information, please wait!).
Basically there are so many possible problems why it could fail. Apparently the runtime engine installer had played with some other NI component that he had no idea would ever exist when it was created and caused that component to always think it needed to update itself to finalize its installation. In your case it could be anything from a missing Visual C runtime version framework that the installer simply expects to be present but doesn't since Microsoft has in the meantime released about 5 versions of Visual C and doesn't install all runtime versions anymore on newest Windows. Or it could be a conflict with your hyper-duper .Net Framework 4.5.x.y that the installer does not be prepared for. Maybe that or something else was not present on your 64 Bit machine where you could install the runtime engine.
Basically the reasons for the install to fail are legion, and trying to figure it out is always more hassle than moving on and let old software be old software.

  • TS1717 Having trouble running iTunes version 11.0.2 on a Dell Laptop running Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1.  Keep getting an error message "the software required for communicating with iPods and mobile phones was not installed correctly..." reinst

Having trouble when I launch iTunes (version 11.0.2) on my Dell Laptop running Windows 7 Professional (service pack 1).  I get an error message indicating software required to communicate with iPod and mobile phones was not installed correctly.  Do you want iTunes to try to repair this for you?  I normally respond with OK and it immediately tells me "could not be repaired.  Please reinstall iTunes..."  I have done this a number of times to no avail.

I also notice Quicktime is not getting installed at all.
That one is normal nowadays (ever since the iTunes versions 10.5.x).
The software required for communicating with iPods and mobile phones was not installed correctly. Do you want iTunes to try to repair this for you?
Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
    http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)
