DREAMWEAVER CRASHES IS COSTING ME MONEY IN PRODUCTION TIME!
OK I AM GOING TO WRITE IN CAPS BECAUSE THIS IS A FUCKEN DISGRACE! WE INVESTED IN THE ADOBE PRODUCTION PACKAGE AND ONE OF THE MAIN REASON WAS DUE TO DREAMWEAVER. NOW WE CANT EVEN GET THIS BLOODY APP TO WORK FOR MORE THAN 2 MINS WITHOUT IT CRASHING. ITS PATHETIC! WE HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING FROM RENAMING PROFILES ETC AND NOTHING..ITS ACTUALLY BECOME WORST!
NOW WE ARE RUNNING A WEB STUDIO AND THIS INVESTMENT IS COSTING US MONEY. I CAN UNDERSTAND IF IT WAS A CHEAP APP..BUT ITS NOT..ITS COST US 1500 WHICH IS NO SMALL CHANGE..SO ADOBE FIX IT ASAP IT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
WE ARE RUNNING A MAC ENVIROMENT WITH SNOW LEOPARD.
IF WE DONT HEAR ANYTHING WE ARE CONSIDERING LEGAL ACTION.

Not trying to troll, just looking for answers from adobe. Crash report will help, You got it. This crashed happened on purpose. All i did was open the ccs panel. edit a ccs class and use the color selector to change the background color. Once the color panel opened up my pointer disapeared and then crash

Dreamweaver Crashes Immediately After Launch
CS5.5, installed shortly after the product was released. Has worked for 6 months without issue. It is installed as part of Master Collection.
First it would report an error after short period on the splash screen saying the MMDocumentTypes.xml file was missing or corrupt. The file appeared ok, both in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.5\configuration\DocumentTypes directory and in the C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5.5\en_US\Configuration\DocumentTypes directory.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Dreamweaver. The problem remained.
I deleted the file from C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5.5\en_US\Configuration\DocumentTypes directory.
Now the splash comes up and crashes. The only meaningful info in the Dreamweaver Crash log is "Exception Code 0xE06D7363". This appears to be a VC++ error code, but I have been unable to find what is causing it anywhere on the Internet.
What should I do next to debug this problem?

DavidWhat OS? All I can tell from your statement is a 64-bit Windows OS (C: = Windows, x86 folder = 64-bit Win OS).
The following article will tell you how to recreate the user configuration folder. You cannot just delete one file or you end up in a mess where DW thinks files are missing. It only recreates the folder if everything it thinks to look for is gone. See the following KB article:

Since two days I can't oen any php-Files. If I will open a File with the extension .php Dreamweaver crashed. What can I do? I search for a soluten now more then one day.

and if you are windows then go to : "C:\Users\(Your User Name)\AppData\Roaming\Adobe" and rename the Dreamweaver folder to Old_Dreamweaver_(version)

Dreamweaver crashes in Leopard and Snow Leopard
Hey guys, so this issue has been going on for about two weeks now. I am trying to get Dreamweaver running on my computer to start my own site.
I went to adobe.com to try the Photoshop and Dreamweaver trial and installed it to my iMac (3.06GHz, 2GB RAM, OSX10.5.8). The photoshop trial works perfectly and have been using it for about two weeks now. However, every time I try to launch Dreamweaver it bounces in the dock, then the rectangular Dreamweaver Splash comes up, hangs then crashes. Normally the splash rectangle has like initializing... but nothing. Just the blank splash and a crash. I have reinstalled atleast 6 times in one day with no luck (Photoshop is still running great).

Yesterday I got my new MacBook Pro (13" 2.26 - Fresh install of Snow Leopard). I redownloaded the trial from adobe and installed. Same crash.

Dreamweaver crashes when i drag my div tags in design view

Ive just encountered a problem with dreamweaver cs4 at work.
I was creating a website using CSS and creating multiple div tags to house my images around the page. I normally position them using the CSS style sheet, but on this occasion, I grabbed the div tag whilst in design view and dragged it manually, and dreamweaver crashed! See image below It does so everytime I try the same thing again. Ive even restarted my PC. Anyone know why?I've not see this before, so can't say why it would be happening. Would the pc be low on resources? but then again you say it happened even after a restart of the pc.
Maybe you could try the file cache and the personal configuration folder fix to see if it fixes any issues.

Settlement will be done on period basis in you're case June month is closed and now open periods are July and august.
so the production orders can be settled collectively in CO88 for July month.
and for costing run i.e standard cost estimate you need correct BOM and Routing.
after doing settlement of production orders do costing run.
it's not mandatory that settlement should be done. even you can run the costing with out settlement.
costing run will consider the raw material prices ,activity prices sub-contracting price etc..
after considering the above prices after releasing the costing run it will update the actual price in the material master of the header material.
for indual material=CK11N and CK24
Collectively=CK40N
For the materials with Price indicator V(header materials) settlement is important here no cost estimate.
settlement of production order will leads to change the price in the material master. so here no Standard cost estimate..only settlement.

Preli cost compo struc of production orders to sales orders -Non valuated

We use Non valuated sales order cost/settlement and assembly order processing. So production order is created from sales order and prel cost estimate is created in the production order. Now we notice that the cost component struc in production order is not copied into sales order. Only the EK02 is copied with total cost.
How to bring cost compo struc from production order to sales order ?
This may be a special cost estimate with costing and Is it possible to bring cost compo struc to copa record type A or F.
I know standard cost compo mapping in copa but I could not see the costing variant used in production order in copa master data configuration.

KTIf the sales order is not a cost object, you cannot cost in it, and you can therefor also not see the cost component split.
When you sell the material, you can pull through the cost component to PA, via the material master using the COPA valuation strategy. However, only the info for the material in the sales doc line item.
You don't link to a costing variant, you link using the above valuation strategy and the costing key. The costing variant sits inside the costing key. -

This means that your customization is wrong then...
In KE4J or KEPC you have assigned costing keys to your material types or some other combination... You should have done this config in a way that costing key is not called for in the case of non valuated materials...
In Ke40 you have defined costing key where in you have specified "Issue error msg if no cost estimate found".. This costing key is assigned in KE4J or KEPC in a way that it is getting called even in case of non valuated materials...
Do you have a separate mat type for non valuated material? If yes, remove this mat type from KE4J/KEPC..
If you dont have separate mat type i.e. in the same mat type if you have both valuated and non valuated, then you have a problem.. You would get stuck in that case

In order to determine the current plan period, the system needs to read the valuation segment of the material master.
The system has found that the current plan period is not filled forproduct "117122" in plant "UBE1".

We think the reason about our error is because the field above is activated and some configuration more is necessary for this case. For examplo: Trans.: OKYW and this one was not configurated yet.

Before we didin't have in KE40, the fiel "Transfer cost estimate in controlling area currency" activated.
And now, the people activate that in this new Client and I don't know the impact about that.
I think we have to make the configuration in OKYW.
The other transation you told me, we don't have any information.
Could you tell me some other idea what happend?
Message error is just "Message no. KE350"
Abou claculate the cost:
It was calculated by trans.: CK11N for future planning and the real wasn't not possible to release because this material already have moviments.
Could you tell us is there is some thing more to do?

Acer incomaptibility
There’s a known conflict between Dreamweaver and Acer eDataSecurity Management v3.0. If you’re on an Acer, and Dreamweaver won’t start, download the patch from http://www.egistec.com/oem-acer001/program-update.html. This should fix the problem.
Corrupted file cache
Dreamweaver creates a cache file called WinFileCache-********.dat or MacFileCache-********.dat inside your personal Dreamweaver configuration folder (the asterisks represent a series of letters and numbers that might differ from computer to computer). This occasionally gets corrupted causing instability, unpredictable error messages, and even crashes.
To solve the problem, close Dreamweaver and delete WinFileCache-********.dat or MacFileCache-********.dat. Sometimes, deleting this file is not sufficient, and you need to delete your personal configuration folder in its entirety.
WARNING: Do not confuse your personal configuration folder with the main configuration folder in Program Files in Windows or Applications on a Mac. You should never touch the main configuration folder unless you really know what you're doing.
Locating your personal configuration folder
The location of the personal configuration folder depends on your operating system and version of Dreamweaver. For Dreamweaver CS4, it’s as follows:

In all cases, <username> is the name of your user account on the computer and <language> indicates the language of your operating system. The language is usually represented by two pairs of characters separated by an underscore, as in en_US (English), es_ES (Spanish), or fr_FR (French).
Earlier versions of Dreamweaver locate the personal configuration folder in a slightly different location. This is where it can be found in Dreamweaver CS3:

The Dreamweaver configuration folders are hidden on Windows, so you need to enable the option to view hidden files and folders in order to locate them, as follows:
In Vista, select Start > Computer > Organize > Folder and Search Options > View. In Advanced settings, choose Show hidden files and folders.
In Windows XP, select Start > My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > View. In Advanced settings, choose Show hidden files and folders.
Once you turn on this option, hidden folders are displayed as dimmed icons to remind you to treat them with care.
The 8KB bug
This is a very rare bug that causes Dreamweaver to crash during operation, and then crash repeatedly each time you try to restart the program. It normally affects only Dreamweaver CS3 on Windows, and is caused by the presence of a file that's exactly 8,192 bytes (8KB) or a multiple thereof.
The solution is to open the file in a text editor and add a few extra characters (new lines or a comment will do). Save the file, and restart Dreamweaver.
If the file causing the problem is an image or other type of media file, edit it so that it's no longer an exact multiple of 8KB.Try #12 and #4 and then go through the rest as necessary:

In case of Std cost (CK11N), the planned price or MAP that you enter in the Parent accounting View will be considered for the cost calcualtoin purpose
Parent view means the view which is above the 2 or more valuation types which consists of avg value of all other val types

You have to define the following:
A cost component structure which splits the cost into different components as per your requirement
A valuation variant which decides the various factors such as material pricing, activity pricing, sub-contracting, external activity prices, etc.
A costing variant which controls the parameters for a costing run which helps to update the prices in the material master.
a production run is carried out for a production order, process order, product cost collector etc. Periodically these objects are settled to the material in question.
