Dreamweaver crashes when working with BC-Site and pause for more then 10 Min
Hi,
absolutely annoying and drives me crazy: when working at a BC-Site in DW and pausing for approx 10 min. DW crashes regularly (always!) when saving or uploading (which is the same). This sucks so deeply! Could you pleeeeease take care of this issue, because it seems easy to solve.
If you want me to send crash reports, I do, but only to Apple, because Adobes own crash report is never showing up and I dont know how to install. Otherwise I would bomb you with crash reports, it happens dozent of times per day.
I am also paid partner of BC, maybe this speeds up the whole thing...

Dreamweaver CC constantly crashing when working with BC
Hi,
Dreamweaver CC is constantly crashing when working with BC. I had lots of contact with the support, my issue is at tier2 already, I had telephone-support several times, we had lots of possible solutions. Nothing worked.
DW CC is crashing as often as CS6 did and it only happened when working with a BC-site. Whenever uploading to BC, there is a 30% chance that DW crashes. When having stopped working with DW for a few minutes (like doing something in PS) DW crashes in every case. 100%. As this must have something to do with BC, I urgently beg to check the integration of BC into DW or check the connection-mode.

I tried saving the sites root folder on a NAS and on local harddrive. I tried with or without german Umlaute , no difference.
Sometimes I can cancel the upload-message and redo, then its working (75%).
As I seem to be the only one having this problem, I completely reinstalled the system and CC, but the problem still exists.
I would really appreciate any help or support from Adobe, although I must say, they already did a lot, but unfortunately my problem is not solved.
By the way, several dialogs with "dont show message again"-ckeckboxes simply come again, no matter whether box is checked or not.
Writing uppercase I (shift-I) insert content of clipboard and writes an uppercase I. (weird?)I have had the same problem.

I deleted all sites.
I have completely deleted all versions of Dreamweaver, deleted all preference files and reinstalled Dreamweaver CC.
It's still happening, so I will be back to them tomorrow.

Win7-64 Photoshop CC blank Save As dialog, then crash, when working with video / frame animations
Hi, I recently updated to CC from CS6 and am having issues when working with PSDs containing video layers, or are set up as frame animations: When attempting to Save As, the dialog will be completely blank except for the Save and Cancel buttons. If I press cancel, then return to Save As, CC then often crashes.

So far I am only having these issues if I have been working with video layers and then frame animations. Frame animations in particular seem to cause instability as I can often work with video layers all day without a problem. Then if I import video frames to layers, or open a PSD containing a frame animation, the Save As may not necessarily work.
Sometimes closing and restarting Photoshop will allow me to save again, but then sometimes a whole system reboot is required. It is only temporary though.
I am not running antivirus software or other apps aside from what starts at boot.Frustrating that this thread has petered out, since I'm having the exact same issue. Did you ever find a way to improved stability?
Also of note, the issue followed me across machines. Two weeks ago I purchased a new machine, figured if that didn't solve the problem nothing would... It didn't. :\
The only similar factors are that the machines both are 64bit Windows 7 (a fresh OEM install on the new box) and have nVidia-brand graphics cards. (Again, though - not the SAME graphics card, picked up a new one with the new machine.) No drive cloning was involved: this is completely new hardware, a fresh factory install of Windows 7, different antivirus (went from AVG to Avast), and new download of Photoshop CC from CreativeCloud.

really enjoying the iMovie 11. It's, how do I say, magical
But there is an annoying issue - when working with cutaways, especially when i have two ore more in a row, once trying to align them so they appear after each other, iMovie always crashes....
Anyone else have similar issues?
All updates have been installed....Okay that was a no-brainer. Since it was my first time using it, I had to go to Preferences and check "advanced features." Simple enough. I found this out while I was on hold, all on my own. Being put on hold is good for self-resiliency.

Cheers and happy new year!That panic was not caused by third-party software, and it's the kind that is usually caused by a memory fault. If your model has user-replaceable memory, and you've upgraded the memory modules, reinstall the original memory and see whether there's any improvement. Be careful not to touch the gold contacts. Clean them with a mild solvent such as rubbing alcohol. Aftermarket memory must exactly match the technical specifications of the machine.
Apple Diagnostics or the Apple Hardware Test, though generally unreliable, will sometimes detect a fault. A negative test can't be depended on. Run the extended version of the test, if applicable. -
Problem when displaying images when working with PHP, mysql and dreamweaver in a brower

I am new to dynamic development but I already did some
research and tutorials about how to get a dynamic web site working
with PHP and Mysql in Dreamweaver. I set up a test page to view
some content on it directly from the mysql database and it worked
just fine in dreamweaver only when I pressed the
live data view.
When I tried to view the same page using the browser preview
with firefox and internet explorer, plain text from the database
was correctly displayed on the brower but the images were absent.
In the mysql database I used the varchar as my picture data
type field so that I will refer in dreamweaver in the data binding
panel in the img.src to the picture column of my database.
I anyone can tell me what am I doing wrong so that my
pictures are not displayed in the browser when i click the browser
preview facility in dreamweaver I would be very very and very
pleased ! :)The odds are that it is the way that you have referenced the
images rather
than an issue with the database. If you have the images root
relative like
this "/images" then they will work in preview, and on the
webserver, but
will not view when looking at the file via localhost.
If possible make the links page relative and then they should
work fine.

PE4 crashes when working with MP4 videos
Hello everyone - just got a new Samsung HMX20 camera - shoots in full HD and creates clips in MP4 format. I did a few tests on the cam before shooting about 111 clips today, totaling approximately 30 minutes of video.
The test worked great, looked CLEAR and fabulous.
I started PE4 and captured all the clips just fine.
However, when I try to import more than about 10 clips into a new project in PE4, it crashes (no warning or message) and goes to a blue screen, then my computer restarts.
System Specs: 1 month old HP Pavilion DV7, AMD Turion Dual-Core 2.10 GHz, 4.0 GB, 64 bit system, 184 GB free of 284.
I have a backup drive I could use if needed, but not sure if it would help - I figured it would be better to have everything on the C drive... Although perhaps that is naive of me.
Any thoughts? This is for a client project, so any help would be GREATLY appreciated!! If you have any questions to help your understanding of the issue, feel free to ask.
I have used PE4 successfully with my older Panasonic cam (not HD), and this issue has never presented until now, when trying to work with numerous clips.

It's kind of a strange site, but I have used the program with no issues.
Then, the convert your files, you simply choose your settings...
(I'm doing HD, so I chose: Output container MPG, Codec: MPEG-II, FFMPEG encoder, no change for video scale size, no selection for aspect, 30 frames per second, bitrate 2208, TOP QUALITY checkbox checked. I don't use the audio, as my videos will have music and a voiceover, so I checked Disable Audio.)
Then you drop you MP4 files into the window at the bottom and hit Encode (active files).
It then begins to encode them into the same folder as the originals, but with an MPEG file format!
I set mine to do this for 111 clips, and as there is no automatic "shutdown when complete" option, I guesstimated the time it would take and set my computer to shut down in 3 hours. Worked like a charm and I was able to get some sleep!
I am then able to easily pull these clips into PE4 and work with them.

How to setup new site in dreamweaver if not working with Local Site Folder?

I am working with a website design (wordpress) project with a group of people, since we are working together on the same design, our developing site is not located in the local folder but on remote server, but I can't setup the website in DW if the developing site is not located locally.
Is there any way to do the development on remote server with DW, and what will be the site setup setting for it?

bruceSharing a "Local" site is a recipe for disaster vis-a-vis file versioning. The best way to avoid these problems is to have three locations defined:
1. A local site (truly local to your computer, although it can be on a network, shared drive).
2. A staging site (this would be the intermediate holding site for partially finished work.
3. A production site (this would be where the final versions of files are pushed).
Enable DW's Checkin/Checkout facility. Each of you would checkout files from the staging server, and when finished editing, checkin those same files to the staging server. Thus, you are not sharing a local site - you are sharing a remote file repository, which is your gold standard source for version protected files.

CS3 crashing when working with vertical orientation images
My CS3 has been crashing every single time I work with a portrait style image... I don't have any other issues except this one.
I can open the raw file and edit it, but when I create a new canvas and move the file over into the new canvas it freezes and crashes... I can do the exact same thing with a landscape style image and it never even flinches. My computer easily meets the requirements to run CS3, so I don't know what the issue is since it only occurs with vertical images.As per usual, reset prefs as a starting point.

DWM crashes when working with Firefox?
Often (even right after a reboot) when I work with Firefox (on 32-bit Win 7), it tends to cause dwm (Desktop Window Manager) to hog increasingly more memory and eventually, crash.
-If I don't do anything, dwm memory consumption stays where it is.
-If I do anything (back/forward between web pages using keyboard shortcuts or just move the mouse over the firefox window), dwm keeps using more and more memory until it crashes. E.g. moving the mouse rapidly causes dwm to use ~100MB more memory every s.
-I haven't noticed the same problem with any other apps/windows.Often (even right after a reboot) when I work with Firefox (on 32-bit Win 7), it tends to cause dwm (Desktop Window Manager) to hog increasingly more memory and eventually, crash.
-If I don't do anything, dwm memory consumption stays where it is.
-If I do anything (back/forward between web pages using keyboard shortcuts or just move the mouse over the firefox window), dwm keeps using more and more memory until it crashes. E.g. moving the mouse rapidly causes dwm to use ~100MB more memory every s.

FCP Crashes when working with un-rendered stills
Hello my FCP project (6.0.3) crashes often when I am dealing with unrendered stills, or even clicking through a list of stills in my browser. (I am cutting an animatic with thousands of stills...)
I have tried switching computers and trashing prefs, but I still get the crashes.
Anybody have an idea to what's going on here?
ThanksI can empathize with it@soy. I've been working with FCP professionally for 4 years now and have had various problems with losing clip attributes, whacky consolidation issues, multi-clips losing sync between systems, and bugs in reconnecting data that has somehow "forgotten where it lives".
I have posted about several of these issues myself, however I don't think the forum is ignoring these issues, Apple just hasn't fixed them.
I will try going through my sequences looking for extraneous opacity keyframes. I use opacity a great deal with my stills and always have the overlay visible in my sequences.
Does anyone know if using a matte on top of your timeline could cause crashes? -
How to avoid error "HTP 404" when working with "Google Suggest" and Apex 3?

I am trying to implement the GOOGLE SUGGEST function in an APEX application (a sample of Google Suggest + APEX can be found in http://htmldb.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=22777:6:4312817919732414 or http://teradata.weizheng.net/2009/08/using-google-suggest-in-apex.html).
The release of APEX is 3.2.1 and of RDBMS is 9.2.0.8 (64 bits). They are installed on a SOLARIS 9 SPARC 64-bits server, where i have an EBS 11.5.9 application. So, i´m using RDBMS and Apache of EBS 11.5.9 to work with APEX 3.2.1.
I can see the list generated by javascript function when i type in P2_REPORT_SEARCH, but when i SELECT an item (pressing ENTER), i have got an "HTP 404 error". Looking in the logs in the apache, i have found this error:

Maybe i provided too much information about my problem,
Well, i tried to implement the solution "Google Suggest" in my APEX 3.2 application, but i´m having now an "HTTP 404 error" when i select an iten in the list buided by "google suggest".
Can anybody make a suggestion of how i could analize this error and fix it?

IWeb crashes when working with .Mac Galleries
I don't know if this is related, but I didn't have a problem with iWeb until I updated to Leopard. Anyway, I now cannot work with my iPhoto galleries in iWeb. Every time I try to work My Albums, iWeb crashes. I can't even delete the old gallery albums and then re-publish. I have even tried making a new Album page and then publishing. This doesn't work either; iWeb still crashes.
Any ideas? I am a school teacher and I have new photos to upload; the kids are getting a little impatient.

MichaelOkay. I trashed the preference file; this didn't help.
I found the crash log.
