Click Start
then RUN
type REGEDIT in the run box
then in the registry got to,
HKEY_CURRENT_USER
    Software
     Adobe
     Dreamweaver CS4
There will be a "Recent File List" you can delete all the files inside of it.

Why eliminate it? It doesn't require any extra clicks.
The Startup page can be handy to return to documents you have
been working
on, creating new documents and many other features. If you
don't need it
just click on what you do need; .
If you insist, you can put a checkmark in "Don't show again"

How can I remove items from the "Open a Recent File" menue. Many other applications allow the clearing of that file . Is this possible in Adobe Reader 10.1.2 ? If so how?

Document is getting posted but unalble to clear the open items

i m using the inbound idoc ACC_DOCUMENT03 to post the receipt against invoice. uptill now i can post the receipt but it shows the items are still in the open items. i need to clear the open items for the invoice. how to solve it .

In the Company code global parameters(OBY6),select the check box "NO FOREX RATE DIFF.WHEN CLEARING IN LC"
and try clearing again.(You can have a F1 help on the check box to see what exactly it is).

Hello,
Parked items will have NO RELEVANCE, unless you post it.
You CANNOT clear parked items.
You can clear the posted items using F.13 or F-32

Reversal FB08 Creating New OPEN ITEM instead of clearing the open item.

Dear All,
My user has an issue whenever he does any reversal Tcode - FB08 in one of the general ledger "Cash in Transit" nature "open item" & "Line item" instead of clearing the open it it creates a new open line item.
I have checked in Table BKPF , the reversal number is being updated but this items are still appearing open item in FBL3N and not appearing in F-04 (all reversals) for clearing.
Can any one share what can be the reason its creating new open item and how can i solve the issue for clearing the account.

Please check following cases
- whether this is happening in all the reversal cases of Cash in transit
- Whether is user is just using FBRA (Onsly resetting) and not going for reversal
- Chances would be one or two partial clearing may have taken for single document for the offsetting accounts

Automatically clear the open items for a GL account cross company codes

Hi FICO experts,
Can anyone help me on the following issue urgently?
There are journal entries posted to same GL account with different company code. Is there any way to automatically clear the open items sitting in the GL account in company code A to against the open items for the same GL account in company code B.
The example is below:
Journal in company code A
Dr. 840410      $100
Cr. 111300       $100
Journal in company code B
Dr. 111301   $100
Cr. 840410      $100
Now I want to automatically clear account 840410 by using assignment or text in the journal entry.
It will be highly appreciated for any instructions.

Hello Adele Wang,
You can enter cross-company code transactions in one step in the General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable application components. This function would be used, for example, for centralized procurement or payment.
Integration:For centralized payments, each individual company code enters its own invoices separately, while a central company code pays them. When you are clearing open items, the system makes clearing entries between the company codes participating in the clearing procedure. These clearing entries represent the receivables and payables that exist between the company codes in centralized payment.
Prerequisites:You have specified which company codes are to be processed via a single company code. In this specification, you can distinguish between clearing transactions. You can therefore have different combinations of company codes for incoming and outgoing payments.
You have specified the clearing accounts that record the receivables and payables between the individual company codes. The system posts to these accounts automatically when clearing the open items.
You need to make the required settings in the activity Prepare Cross-Company Code Manual Payments in Customizing for Financial Accounting (Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable->Business Transactions->Outgoing Payments->Manual Outgoing Payments).
Features:For each company code, the system generates a separate clearing document. A joint transaction number marks these documents as belonging together.
Example:For a clearing transaction (incoming payment, outgoing payment), you have agreed in Customizing that if company code 0001 is specified, open items are also selected from other company codes (0002 and 0003).

Clearing can then also be carried out if the account to be cleared has not been created in company code 0001. As long as no items have to be posted to this account in company code 0001, it is not necessary to create a master record for the account in company code 0001.

The online document splitting is active in the system.

Procedure - Either check the splitting rule or create the account determination key.

Thanks for the prompt response, I have checked in OB09, this refers to the Account Determination for OI Exchange Rate Differences and the entries maintained appear to be ok. What else could be the issue?

you can do that, BUT DW starts - in my German DW at least - with a blank screen except the menu bar.
You have to take away the checkmark in this way (translated from my German DW): > edit (Bearbeiten) > settings (Voreinstellungen) > generally (Allgemein) > document options (Dokumentoptionen) > show welcome screen (Begrüßungsbildschirm anzeigen) > see screenshot)
I for my part don't remove it, I see it as a good thing to be able to open the last files by a simple cklick e.g.

Deleting "open a recent item" files

The screen that appears when you first open Dreamweaver 8 has
a list on the left that allows you to open a recent item. The ones
that are currently listed on my computer are no longer valid and I
would like to clear them. I have not been able to figure out a way
to do this so any help is appreciated - Thanks!

The recent files list is in the Registry of your computer.
If you just ignore the "no longer valid" list and keep
working with newer files, the newer file names will replace the
older ones.
If you still want to mess around with things, and you're
comfortable editing the registry values.
start> run
Type in : regedit
In the console that opens
HKEY_CURRENT_USER> Software> Macromedia>
Dreamweaver> Recent File List
I would strongly recommend against messing around with the
registry values unless you're absolutely sure about what you're
doing.

Removing items from "open a recent item" list

I deleted some files in dreamweaver cs5, but they still appear in "Open a recent item",
how can I remove them from the list?

Windows or Mac?
On Windows, it's a setting in the Windows registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5\Recent File List
Select each file, right-click and select Delete.
Alternatively, just open up to 9 legitimate files in DW and let the list update itself.

How to clear the open documents in case if document currency and local curr

Hi,
Can anyboday advise how to clear the open document of a particular vendor for a particular company code. Here the issue is that balace is netted to Zero in the document currency but not in the local currency. The document was posted in Currency CAD and the local currency is GBP.
When i check the FBL1N, there is it showing net balance is ZERO, but document is still in open
status. I tried using Transaction code F-44, but it is not allowing me.
Can anyboday advise how to perform this. Points will be awarded.

Use the field ELIKZ in EKPO. If the field is Blank its an OPEN PO Line Item

How to open PO line item

Ever since the last update I can't seem to open up the list of ''Recently Closed Windows'', is there anybody that can help me with that?

Yesterday my Firefox browser was updated without me even noticing it. I closed the only 2 windows that were open, both having a bunch of tabs, because I turned off my PC. Today I opened up Firefox, clicked ''Restore previous session'' which opened up one of these 2 windows. But when I wanted to access the list of ''Recently Closed Windows'' it didn't open. It only shows a small square as if it's there, but it doesn't show anything. I can open up ''Recently Closed Tabs'' but that doesn't help me. I now only have 1 window, but the other one had some important tabs opened in it as well, so I could really use some help.

Firefox stores your open windows and tabs in a file named sessionstore.js in your currently active settings folder. Could you check that folder and back up all of the sessionstore files as the first step.
Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using
Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button
If you find a file named sessionstore but not sessionstore.js, Windows may be hiding file extensions from you. To work with files as accurately as possible, I suggest unhiding them. This Microsoft support article has the steps: [http://support.microsoft.com/kb/865219].

Why did in the right-click menu the "open in a new tab" and the "open in a new window" -buttons change places? And can you change it back?

With the Firefox 4 RC, the "open in a new tab" and the "open in a new window" -buttons have changed places. It's quite annoying because I normally do it without even looking at it, but now it always opens in a new window instead of a new tab. Is it possible to change it back? Maybe in your own settings?
