DreamWeaver cS4 installation

Question

I downloaded the trial version of DreamWeaver (CS4).
Installation seemed to go well untll the end when a popup with
something like "checking system.." came up then the following
message "Setup has encountered an error and cannot continue.
Contact Adobe Customer Support for assistance." There was no error
code. OS is Vista Ultimate 32 bit SP1. Tried with firewall off, Did
regsvr32 jscript.dll and regsvr32 vbscript. Rebooted twice. Nothing
seems to get me past this point. Adobe tech support is closed for
the weekend. Can anyone help? I don't think I want to buy this
thing if I can't even get the trial version installed. Chuck

Acer computer by any chance?
