De-activate.
Uninstall with the uninstaller.
Restart computer.
Reinstall from original disc.
Update to 11.0.3
It does not help!!!!!!
What to do!??????
ADOBE, Please, help me!!!!!!!!!!

Are you getting any errors on the failed installation?
Also during that uninstall did you use the Adobe CS5 Clean Tool?

Dreamweaver CS5 for Mac - Files within the whole panel minimize

I'm working in Dreamweaver CS5 for Mac. Dreamweaver is active and open with the Panel open with files, CSS styles etc tabs open. I want to add an image to the my Image folder within the Files tab. Well when I click the Finder icon, it takes focus off Dreamweaver and then the Panel disappears. This makes it difficult to add pictures to my current site I'm working on. Then when I click the Dreamweaver screen again this Panel reappears.
Is there a setting to keep this whole Panel from minimizing or disappearing when Dreamweaver is not on focus?

Assuming you have defined a LOCAL SITE within DW, use INSERT > IMAGE (browse to the image on your local HD or DW Local Site folder)
If image is not already in the DW Local Site Folder, you will get a prompt to copy the image there. Hit YES and tell DW where to put the image within your local site.
Or maybe I'm missing something....

Dreamweaver CS5 HTML5 Update Installation failed

Dreamweaver CS5 on Windows 7 64 bit. I tried using the builtin updater and manually downloading the update using Chrome, but the result is always:

I renamed C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0 to 1.0- (effectively deleting it) and reran the installer (AdobePatchInstaller.exe) manually. The 1.0 directory was recreated, and aamu.log contains the following:

BTW, this machine boots from an SSD (C:), and CS5 is installed on E:. Not sure if that is significant or not. Previous updates installed fine.

InDesign CS5 for Mac crashes on opening file. Have replaced References and all other suggestions.

I am having a problem with InDesign CS5 crashing when I try to open a file that formerly opened just fine. Even restored versions from Time Machine or that I had a backup saved on an external hard drive will not open. I recently had to reconstruct a 90 page magazine for the same reason. I heard that Extensis Suitcase might be causing the problem so I disabled the plug-in, but still can't get the file open. The file in question is full of tables and would be a nightmare to redo. I am running Snow Leopard. It will open briefly and tell me that fonts are missing, then crash.

I have already disabled the Extensis plug-in and am activating the fonts
manually from within Extensis. It's the very latest version, Suitcase
Fusion 3, and it warps my chops that it doesn't play nice with InDesign.
I got rid of the Mindsteam grammar plug-in also and sent a tersely
worded letter to the vendor. When you pay nearly $200 for a plug-in, you
expect it to work. I don't have time for this aggravation! I truly
appreciate the help I've gotten here. This has certainly discouraged me
from using any third-party plug-ins. I was ready to go back to Quark
Xpress. For the moment, everything is behaving.

CS5 for Windows can only be installed on Windows operating system.
You would need to purchase CS5 for Mac OS.
Given that CS5 is now 4 versions back, it's unlikely you'll find a copy.
You could get DW CC from the Creative Cloud which supports both Win/Mac platforms.

I cannot afford the expense of buying or paying access to the software and, still, I need the tools for all those little things I do for enjoyment. What can be done?

The licenses are operating system specific, so one option would be to retain use of the Windows machine you had before the Mac.
If you want to try to use the older stuff on your new Mac you can try installing Windows emulation software such as Bootcamp.

The D610 didn't get out-of-the-box RAW support until Photoshop CC.
You can either upgrade to CC or use the DNG Converter to convert and open your DNGs in CS5.

Creative Cloud is available as trial version for 30 days and almost all creative software is bundled with the Creative Cloud. Tutorials are included for each of the products on the respective sections of the website. Help with Dreamweaver CS6 for Mac

I am a long time user of Dreamweaver CS 5.5 for PC and recently purchased an IMac. I have a trial version of Dreamweaver CS6 for Mac and am having difficulty displaying an html file in Live View. I always used "Preview in Browser" in CS 5.5 and need this same feature. I have an active site that I imported into CS6 and the site uses templates. Any help would be greatly appreciated. MMHttp doesn't seem capable of HTTPS communication in
Dreamweaver CS3 for Mac.
When I do something like
MMHttp.getText("https://americanexpress.com");
the resulting response has no data and a status code of 0.
With
MMHttp.getText("
http://americanexpress.com");
(i.e. non-SSL) the response has data and a status code of
200.
This works fine on a Windows version of Dreamweaver CS3. Does
anyone have any suggestions?

It depends on the speed of your Internet connection. The download is only the first phase you will still need to install the software. During the installation process you will be prompted to enter your license key/serial number.
