Dreamweaver CS6 Javascript
Is there any plan to fix the Javascript function on CS6 from SPRY to JQuery?
CS6 is done. And it already supports jQuery, but probably nobody will rewrite the SPRY templates just for that when you can download similar jQuery templates at every corner. Both can coexist, anyway. For more questions, use the DW forum.

Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 Javascript error
I was using adobe dreamweaver CS6 Without any problems
But today i tryed to open adobe dream weaver and i get A lot of javascript errors like MMinit.htm and many other startup errors.
When startup errors end then the program is starting but when i do something, example opening an html or something i get a lot more java script errors and then the program crash
I uninstalled adobe dream weaver and installed it again but still the same problem after reinstall
Help pleaseHave you tried clearing the program cache file?

Even after a plain reinstall, DW will leave files behind that can affect your program. If you uninstall, make sure to run the Cleaner Tool before you reinstall to get a completely fresh installation of the program...

Dreamweaver cs6 javascript problem
I have a problem. Dreamweaver CS6 is not working correct anymore.
I get the following mistakes:

I cannot get in the browser of upload new material to my site. I'm working mac os mountain lion.
In de AppiclationSupport is see Adobe, but then no Dreamweaver, in other map i see Dreamweaver. So i cannot remove the language there.
My version is Adobe master collection CS6 uk. I can come in to dreamweaver, but when i klik on idex.php or something else. I get the mistakes.
Please can someone help me, so i get it working again. Hopefully someone know the answer.

Message was edited by: puntjeduizendIt is if i contect with the database of dreamweaver. Maybe if i install dreamweaver again. First uninstall the problem is gone. I don't know what i must do. What must i take a way. Yesterday and the days there before, everything all fine. And know this. It is a real database and javascript errors within dreamweaver. That connect with each orther.
Because on mac os mountain lion and don't do mysql, that i do on windows.
If i know, what i must change, but i don't understand it, because the lines are different, then the page you give the link from. Maybe you know.
Some points i tried. But i cannot find applicationSupport/Adobe/Dreamweaver. It just isn't on that place.
So i don't know where that folder is.
I have install dreamweaver again. And the problem is gone. Hopefully for long. -

Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 has stopped working
Hello - I am attempting to download and install a trial version of Dreamweaver 6 on my PC running Win7 Pro 32 bit service pack 1 with 4GB RAM and an E6300 processor. I have managed to download and extract the application but once I attempt to launch the program, I get a Dreamweaver panel that says it is installing files, then after a few minutes I receive the error message below and the installation window goes blank.
I have attempted the installation 3 different times using ADA and the direct download methods described in the FAQ's but in every instance, I have been met with this same error. I have disabled my firewall and antivirus but I still get this error. Between installation attempts, I have removed DW6 via the remove programs function in the control panel and restarted my PC. I seem to be able to download the application fine but every time I attempt to run it, I get this error. Any words of wisdom. Thank you.Hey Mylenium I have an update for you. I got the application to start, here is what I did. Thinking the problem might be permissions related, I went to the application directory, C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS6, and gave full control to all users and cleared the "read only" for the application directory and all files in the subordinate file structure. Then using Windows Explorer, I navigated to a CSS file that I was working on with a text editor. I right clicked the CSS file and selected "Edit with Dreamweaver 6". To my surprise the file opened in Dreamweaver. Since then, I have used DW to create an HTML website with external JavaScript and CSS files. Dreamweaver now opens when I double click the application icon.
Even though I got it to work, I captured a related event from event viewer and the installation log for referrence and the benefit of others.

Dreamweaver CS6 "Not Responding" with TypeKit on Windows 8
My Dreamweaver CS6 (Cloud Install) on Windows 8 freezes up when i type code in "code view" to "Not Responding". It seems that it is the two lines from TypeKit that cause the problem (<script type="text/javascript" src="//use.typekit.net/xxx.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript">try{Typekit.load();}catch(e){}</script>). When I remove them it works fine. I run this against WAMP localhost install. Every time I write a DIV or another closed tag, Dreamweaver goes into "Not Responding" for 10-20 seconds. I have tried to turn of View > Live View Options > Disable Javascript but it doesn't work. I also tried to uninstall Dreamweaver and a reinstall but the same problem. Anyone knows any solutions? Thanks.
My guess is DW is trying to connect to external scripts on TypeKit's server. TypeKit is probably looking for a web browser, but since DW isn't a browser, it's hanging up. Go to View > untick Display External Files.

Dreamweaver CS6 "Not Responding" every 15 seconds or so
I'm using Dreamweaver CS6 on Windows 7 64bit, though on searching Google the problem seems to be occurring occasionally on CS4 and CS5 too. Nothing can be done for about 10 seconds, when suddenly everything works again. We have two website I have been working on but I have noticed that when am working on our main website that's live for everyone to see, that's the one that freezes on me and I get the "No Responding" and the other one I have created is more for our use only and I don't have any problems with that one. Any Suggestions? and Thank you in advance.

Dreamweaver CS6 not responding (freezing)
I am running Windows Vista and performed the most recent update of Dreamweaver CS6 (I am using Creative Cloud) and my Dreamweaver program continues to not respond if I need to go out to another program and then back into Dreamweaver. It was not responding before the update, as well. I am using a Typekit script on all of my pages and this freezing/not responding thing just started happening, though it had worked just a few weeks ago. I have done the following:
disabled Javascript
disabled all extensions
turned off "Display External Files"
Currently defragmenting my computer
Performed a disk cleanup
My site is not linked to any outside site. This issue is making my development double in the amount of time and I really need this fixed. Any other suggestions would be great.

That's complete rubbish. I'm using Vista with Creative Cloud and have no problems. Vista is essentially Win7.
There are a couple of 64 bit products I can't use on my 32 bit operating system but the rest work fine.
I suggest you delete your cache and/or personal configuration folder.

Saving Images in Dreamweaver CS6
I have imported a menu that I created in Fireworks CS6, into dreamweaver cs6, I save to the remote server and you can't see anything.
Same thing with Bridge CS6. I create a slideshow and import into dreamweaver cs6 and still nothing. Or I will simply put a jpeg or png picture file and the image won't show. Please help

Phone gap build settings in Dreamweaver CS6
Hello
I have created a html/javascript app using the jquery mobile template in dreamweaver cs6.
In live view the app works as expected, however when I publish it using the phonegap build service the application fails to work.
I think this is because it relys on loading external JSON data into it. Looking at phonegap documentation I think this can be fixed by...
Allowing ExternalHosts in PhoneGap.plist.
However I cannot see this file, only config.xml.... So can it not be done using the integrated build service?

Dreamweaver CS6 keeps freezing when clicking on "live" or "design"
My dreamweaver cs6 keeps freezing.

I have updated all adobe software so it's the latest build.. My computer is working fine, the only thing that crashes is DW.
Help?This can be caused by a number of things. One of the easiest to test is external javascript files.
If you have any javascripts that are pointing to someone else's server, you can add a comment around them and see if that fixes the issue. It's always best to have a local copy of those files within your site vs relying on someons else's server to be up and running to make your site function.

If you don't have links to .js files similar to what I've explained, you can validate your code here: http://validator.w3.org/ and repair any errors
Invalid code can definitely cause some strange issues in DW.
If you don't have external links as explained and your code validates (or you fix all errors and still have the issue), there may be something else in the source causing problems. If you could post a link to an offending page online, we would be able to take a better look. -
Problem in Loading Dreamweaver CS6
Whenever I try to load Dreamweaver CS6 I get an error message. ' While executing onLoad in BusinessCatalyst.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:
In File "BusinessCatalyst": bcinit is not defined'
Because of this I am not able to use CS6 I have to go back to CS 5.5

Dreamweaver CS6 and CC both very slow page rendering under Mavericks
Dreamweaver CS6 and CC both very slow page rendering under Mavericks compared to 10.8.5
Any ideas?One other thing I am seeing:
When I open any document (html, javascript) inside DWCC now, then close it without any changes, DW asks if I want to save changes.
I just tested this under 10.8.5 and there is no lag there, nor are documents mysteriously modified when opened.
Note: I have tested this both with and without other Apps or extensions running in Mavericks and 10.8.5 -
CSS needs PHP to execute in order to render in Dreamweaver CS6
When I view my web pages while in Dreamweaver, I need a piece of PHP code ( called ws_general.php ) to execute in order for the CSS to render.
The pages do look fine when in a browser but I would like to solve this to better test my pages while in Dreaweaver.
I have looked through various solutions but with no luck.
I am using: Windows 7 SP1
