Dreamweaver Doesn't have "image viewer" on  Insert Menu!

Hi Guys!
could you please help me to know how come my Dreamweaver doesn't have "image viewer" on the insert menu.Today I was was going to do some tutorial which I find out thers is no "Image Viewer" and even Flash option on my insert/media,as you can see from attached screen shot .
Best Regards

Yes. I said from CS4 onwards. CS5 came after CS4 and the Image Viewer is still discontinued. Adobe wants you to use Bridge for these kinds of features.

    Hi,
Please need some help with an imageviewer. I'm using a jquery.slidingGallery-1.2.min on my homepage:
    www.rusteloos.com
I've placed this viewer in a cell. But when the window is made smaller the viewer overlaps  the menu. How do I make sure the viewer stays in the bounderies of the  cell and avoid the overlap?
In the head I've placed the script code for the viewer

That page has a serious error in that the entire document falls within the style tag of the header since it never actually closed (the <!- - right after the start of the style doesn't end - - >).  I don't see a way of doing this with tables because the solution I would suggest is using min-width on the container of your gallery so that it never shrinks below a specified amount of pixels.  However, as far as I know this attribute does not work on tables.

  • HT4178 Mac server OSX 10.8.2 Netistall  doesn't have image, how can I fix this?

I tried to switch on Netinstall on just on just brand new Apple mini server,  all the data have filed and green light is on, except of Netinstall which requesting me to add an image and file in the library/netboot/ is empty for that. If even I try to add it on the NEtinstall page, there small gear tab blanked and cn not modified at all whatever I did, I have not modified any thing there - so that is suprice why on the new apple happening with me that, may be a problem in a software or I just don't know somne thing. On the apple support page also there is no information for  OSX10.8.2 server how can I fix this problem,  Could some one explain how is possible to finaly make an image and make netinsall to work, I will be much appreciated for that,

You need to create a NetInstall image using System Image Utility. You can launch it from the "Tools" menu of Server.app.
To use System Image Utility, you will need an installed volume, or an Install Mac OS X application from the Mac App Store.

  • Image Viewer not showing images

I have image viewer working successfully on several other
sites but I can not get it to work from this one.
I am trying to get a auto looping image show of 4 images.
I tried this initially with 4 images and nothing showed. I
deleted the Image Viewer and attempted it again using a single
image and still nothing shows. I know the image is there because it
    appears on another page.
I have uploaded the javascript into a Scripts folder and all
appears fine but no image ever shows.
Can anyone tell me what I am missing? The page is
    http://advancedptme.com/jp_test.html

In other words, it doesn't appear that your site is properly
    defined in
    Dreamweaver.

    Hi,
I cannot see menu Insert / Media / Image Viewer
    What am I missing?
    My version is from
"Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium"

It doesn't exist in CS6.  Adobe discontinued this feature because DW is not an image gallery creation tool.   It's web authoring software.
If you can work with jQuery, there are dozens of image gallery & slideshow plugins you could use that are much nicer.

  • OWB 10.2 - View doesn't have SELECT statement.

    Hi,
We migrated from OWB 10.1 to OWB 10.2. and I got stuck on weird behavior of views.
In 10.1. I had a mapping which ended up in a view. When I performed "reconcile outbound" the view was updated and it's SELECT statement reflected sources and transformations in the mapping.
In 10.2., however, the view's SELECT statement is empty, no matter of using synchronization (a successor to "reconcile" functionality).
I cannot deploy a view which doesn't have a select statement.
Anyone has come across this problem?

  • Dreamweaver CS3 Image Viewer Flash Element

Here at Cleveland State University, I offer basic training
classes for most Adobe products. We are in the middle of a complete
    overhaul of the
    http://www.csuohio.edu space. Our
goal to is to create an attractive, website with a consistent look
and feel that makes it easier for our faculty and staff to update
on a more frequent basis. In doing so, we have created a series of
pages that can be easily edited in Dreamweaver CS3. One item we
would like to fully support is the DW CS3 Image Viewer - Flash
Element. However, we have hit a small layout snag.
On the main pages of most college and departmental sites, a
specific space with a finite size is set on a web page for the
image viewer. A site editor then creates images in Photoshop that
are that exact size. The image viewer element is configured to be
that exact size as well. Furthermore, the picture "frame", title,
caption and controls are hidden in the Flesh Element panel.
However, when the page is previewed either in Dreamweaver or in a
browser, the images have been shrunk. There is always a border,
whether it is white or some other color. I assume the color is the
stage color of the Flash .swf file. This causes a misalignment of
the images and the other text.
Another issue is the links that automatically created. Some
of our editors have asked me why, even though they specifically
leave the imageLinks area blank, links seem to be created pointing
    to the Adobe.com website.
My questions: is there no way to force the Flash element to
respect the size of the pictures so that no border is showing? Is
there no way to leave the Im
I've done a search on the Adobe.com support site and on the
web and noted that several people have posted questions concerning
this. Unfortunately, no one seems to know what to do about it.
I can send links if you would like to see an example. I'd
greatly appreciate any help you can give me.

  • Dreamweaver CS3 Image Viewer ImageLinkTarget Problem

I'm using the Dreamweaver CS3 Image Viewer component to make
    a quick Flash slideshow.
I've set the ImageLinkTarget parameter to "_blank". However,
in the slideshow, mouse rollovers show
a hand cursor, but clicking opens the larger image in the
same browser window. Everything I have read says that
this setting should cause the link to open in a new window or
    tab.
I have posted the code. If anyone has ever experienced this,
please let me know how to fix/work around it.
    Thank you.

    Ken

I just googled and found lots of folks with the same problem.  One fellow wrote this as a soluton:
"All you have to do is
remove the values from the imageLinks in the flash element. That
    should fix it."
    Does it?

  • I'm trying to install an old version of Dreamweaver on a new computer that doesn't have a CD drive.

Hi. I've recently bought a new computer that doesn't have a CD drive. I am trying to install Dreamweaver CS4 on my new computer (and uninstall from they old one), but I only have the program on CD. Is it possible for me to download Dreamweaver CS4 and use the activation key I already have?

Copy the files from the CD to a USB drive and then utilize the USB drive to install the software.

  • Viewing dvcproHD720p60i on a machine that doesn't have fcp installed

Just got a call from someone who is trying to view a quicktime encoded with dvcprohd720p60i (exported from fcp) on a mac that doesn't have fcp installed. He gets a white screen and some sort of notice that the codec is unavailable. He says he's got the latest version of quicktime installed. Any solutions to this?

I see 6 total dvcpro codecs on my fcp5.1.2 machine. in the DVCPro pkg in library receipts there's a pile o stuff but it begins to beg the "can I distribute this" question? Our poor PC cousins don't have access to this rather amazing codec. does the client have QT Pro? Has he restarted his machine? Sorry sometimes the obvious is never seen.
